Switch of Fate 4 is the fourth book in this series by Lisa Ladew and Grace Quillen in a new paranormal series.
Lisa has a way of drawing you into her books and her characters. She is not afraid to pull punches as she weaves a magical story that leaves you wanting more. Who doesn't love a story that has hot sexy shifters and women they can't live without.
Throw in vampires and you have a story that keeps you intrigued from the first page until the very last.

I have felt or had the impression from previous books that Aven didn't feel as though he belonged with the others at the first Switches coven, so it was with bated breathe that I waited for this book. It was everything I could have hoped for and more, exciting, mysterious and magical. Suspenseful and mystical all rolled together to keep me spellbound throughout, so glad this came out for the Christmas holidays so I had time to savour. Dakota's unhappiness at her life not going where she expected or things that hadn't happened was real and desperate, as things started to unfold and she felt the changes she started to grow, becoming happier and more confident and boy did she show everyone her capabilities. I really loved this couple, they were so in tune with each other. So this book starts the next chapter and I cant wait for more.

This is book 4 in the series and a great addition to the series. I love this series and need more and more. These authors do a great job with the story line and bringing in each new chapter, mixing favorite old characters with the new characters. This book is about Aven, the Raptor shifter and his mate. A sexy shifter with wings and a bad*ss vampire killing female, and all the hot and steamy moments needed for the prowl. What more could you want? This series is a must read!

OMG!! Lisa & Grace have done it again!
This has been a brilliant series and book 4 is no exception. While this is a paranormal book, the issues addressed are quite real. These authors have thrown in charm, angst and as usual lots of snark. I can’t to listen when this come out on audio. I highly recommend this book and series!! You will not be disappointed!!

Feathered vs Furred.
Switch Of Fate series just keeps getting better. I wasn’t sure I’d like a raptor shifter but Aven proved me wrong.
We are getting some new characters introduced and some different powers are coming into play. A new coven has appeared along with new resonant.
Great H and h, storyline was great and the flow was perfect.

Stop Fighting It!!!
Eagle shifter Aven Kittrell, a former military who was dedicated to the Cause. Was looking for the coven he was bound to. He also wanted to get rid of the bloodsuckers, he was looking for his mate as well. But when an old friend, Dallas Manteo asked him for a favor, he didn't hesitate to give him a helping hand.
Dakota Manteo, a half-breed jaguar shifter who hadn't shift yet. She was going to make it her mission to reach the Cause so she could be her true self. She didn't have time for any distractions not even when one of them came in the form of a sexy as sin eagle shifter, Aven Kittrell. Who always was her brother's best-friend.
Jameson Montreat, Head shifter of the Cause, Keeper of the Forest bound to Breath Coven ( WOLF'S KEEPING ) was looking for new recruits for the Cause. He had Aven keeping on eye on Dakota who was a potential candidate. The attraction between them was off the charts but she put the brakes on whatever was happening between them.
She couldn't shift but that didn't stop Dakota from giving one hundred percent and beyond of herself in everything she did. She wanted to feel like she belonged and she finally found her place in the Believe coven. She was a Switch, that's why her lack of shifting.
Together they had to face lots of hurdles but they had their family and friends there to help them every step of the way. Loved all the new directions this series is heading. Looking forward to the next installment. As always it was a treat to catch up with old characters and meet new ones.

What happened???
These were good stories...until now. This one, new characters come out of nowhere then disappear, immediate back and forth between the leads, bunch of scenes build sky high then fall straight down, and the new questions with so many already unanswered are too much.
I couldn't relate to or like Dakota, but I should've been able to understand why she upended her whole life to skulk around a group she can't rightly join YET!
And what was with the weird hyped up moments between Dakota and Shiloh, Aven and Maze, Aven and Thorn? You find the stalker from two books ago and everyone lets him walk away? I guess what I'm saying to the authors is I'm disappointed with the stretching of stories and adding filler to pad series for unnecessarily LONNNNG books. Twelve of these guys for this series? Nope, saving my sanity at #4, coming back at #12 where the narratives and recaps will be 3 days long instead of 1 and a half days but everything will be tied up in a neat little bow.

I have been so looking forward to this book. It was and wasn't all I hoped for as I read the book. I will start with the was first. It continued the plot that has been building from the first book in a way that was to be expected. The book also left you with just as many questions left unanswered as it answered. I liked that the author took the time to fill the readers on the backstories of the main two characters while interweaving the continuous overall plot of the series. It was done in a manner that the reader really got to know Aven and Dakota. With this, I will move into what wasn't what I hoped for in the book. At times the book was just a bit too vague. I know this is done for the suspense level, but it introduced too much with too little solved by the end. Also, the book seemed to be a little bit choppy in the way it flowed. But, overall another great book for an outstanding series.

Awsome twists and turns
WOW! Aven's book so awesome with all the twists and turns. New information is flying in every direction! This is the first book in the Belief switches trilogy. There are several new characters introduced in this book and I can't wait to see what part they play in the series.
Dakota believes that she is a shifter that just hasn't shifted yet. Her brother is a jaguar so she thinks that she is too. She hears about the Ingrav and moves to where they live hoping to find a vampire that will inspire her shift like it did for her brother. But things aren't always what they seem.
Aven's is attracted to Dakota but she is his SEAL brother's sister. He tries to help her without crossing those lines but she isn't helping things.
As I said before, this an exciting book to read in this series. The people we have already met play a role in this story too. I recommend this whole series! You should absolutely start with book one!

He works as a ranger, giving him an advantage in his position with The Cause to keep an eye on the area and to keep watch for vampires. Then he gets a call from Dallas asking him to keep an eye out for his sister, Dakota, who is headed Aven's way.
Dakota has spent the last ten years as a police officer in Arizona until she learns of The Cause from a shifter during a traffic stop. She quits her job and heads East with the shifter, giving her brother a call along the way. But Dakota has a secret that could prevent her being taken in by The Cause. It's something she isn't ready to share, even with her brother's SEAL teammate, Aven. And, as usual, Fate has a way of shaking things up, in spite of Dakota's dreams.

Flight
Another coven with the shifters only bird (even thought a hawk shows up smelling like his friend who died ) a women who thought she was a jaguar but could not shift (her dad was one) and her brother who was a navy seal with aven shifted late in life.feels the pull and comes to town.
I'm guessing there should be two more books yet (if not more with the other covens) but have yet to be written?
This one got more confusing with little answers.is throne and lance a dragon?or have these people been hurt by bloodblades and that's what happens?or are they keepers or stewards for other covens but something pushes the switches away?or was they cursed to not find love so when switches get there power they bolt from them?I'm thinking a curse?

Fly high Aven
I fell in love with Aven from the beginning. I am so happy he got his book and found his love a switch named Dakota. I love the forming of the belief coven. I love the big windows looking out to the sunflower field. What a beautiful picture that would make. The scene with Dakota and Auntie just tugged at my heart. It really made me happy. Lots of answers in this story but still too many questions. I would have loved more answers. Looking forward to book 5 and finding out more and learning more about belief coven and Dallas. Thanks Gracie and Lisa

An amazing addition to the world they have created, there are mysteries that will take some time to unravel, but will be well worth the wait.
What makes me happiest is knowing there will be many more opportunities to watch our ‘Switches’ grow in love, loyalty, and friendship. And to meet more hot shifters, too!

Facinated
I! Starting to be really fascinated with the questions poised and left unanswered by the authors. I have some ideas as to what those answers might be but I'm said to see lol. If it's half as good as I'm suspecting it might be woooo. I think the first hint i got at what the answers might be was in the prequel. If I'm right it will blow your mind absolutely be worth the wait and make this one he'll of a series

I am liking the mythology of this series so far and it was neat seeing another coven emerge and what powers they would possess. I also now see this series is set up to run for quite a few more books so can’t wait to unravel some of these mysteries. I just hope the authors can keep cranking them out and still be entertaining and original, with so many character that will still be coming it will be a daunting task, but I am in for the ride.

Once a shifter always a shifter, unless you’ve never been one to begin with that is. Aven and Dakota are two peas in a pod, but she’s hiding something, she can’t shift. After her first run in with a vampire thigh, everyone knows why. She’s a switch. The journey she goes on to find herself is hard, but so worth it in the end. I can’t wait to see what happens next. And who else joins their coven since it’s just Aven and Dallas at the moment.

WHERE'S THE NEXT ONE?!!
This book was way more awesome than I expected but now I'm pissed since this book came out 2 years ago and three releases in one year before. Now NOTHING! WTF?! When will the next 9 books mentioned be out? So not a patient person and when I first started thought it was a complete series. Ok it's not great more books but where are they? I'm freaking out there going to be anymore. Totally pissed need the rest where and when are they?

Well what can I say. Definitely didn't disappoint. This book was much more intense than the rest of the series but oh my Lord does it take you on a ride Fast Pace from the get-go. The total heat that goes on between even and Dakota is something that most people never find it was excellent a must read

Just when you think you’ve figured out the story line or character...the plot twists, turns and thickens! Faith
I am in love with this book, omg I was so enraptured in this book I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I was pleasantly surprised several times. I was so involved in this book, I couldn't wait to see where it took me, but I'm wondering, who Thorn is I have my suspicions can't wait to see how close I am to who he is. Wow What a Ride or Soar
Raptor's Peak is bok4of Lisa Ladew and Grace Quillen's amazing series Switch off Fate. Aven's story was amazing. Dakota is a total bada##. Together they will take you on the ride of a lifetime. The storyline really moves quickly in this book. Surprises abound. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

I like the main female character alot, I also like the others, but somehow Dakota is my favorite.. He.. um, I know the prejudices, but at some time I felt like suggesting someone to straighten his nose! The topic is great, but I see that we won't get an ending, at least not soon, which I'm sorry for. All in all, a good book!

I love these books! It’s been a minute since I read the last one, but the authors do a fantastic job and helping you remember the characters. Can’t wait for more, so we can meet all these switches and shifters!
