Christmas day 2016. Frank heads out to Upper Yosemite Falls with the goal of completing the full hike, having not done so before. Ignoring the light snow and warnings from the Rangers of an impending snowstorm, Frank heads up alone. Halfway to the summit, Frank becomes lost and disorientated as the snow storm hits and separates him from the trail. Old memories begin to surface, and Frank finds himself being tormented and hunted by an unseen force. Something that throws him into a living nightmare that he struggles to escape, not knowing what is real and what isn't.

A brilliant read with many different aspects. Lost in Life is a psychological thriller, which kept me turning the pages, however there was much more to this story. An emotional read as Frank looks back at his life and how he has suffered at the hands of his family and bullies. The author has wonderfully merged different genres and life events to create something truly unique.

Great read, however...

... because of the incredibly poor spelling and poor grammar, it made this book incredibly hard to read at times! It was a great story and that is what makes me want to read more from this author, but I fear that the spelling and grammar would make it just as difficult as it was this one. I'm not sure if it was just the ebook that had this problem, or if it was the print edition as well.
