Ain't No River Wide Enough.....

This paranormal romance is a riveting and suspenseful read that readers will want to read again and again. Lonny and Lana’s story has been hinted at but nothing could have prepared anyone for just how thrilling their romance would be. The romance starts off on the shaky ground with lots of the past getting in the way due to emotional turmoil that tugs at readers hearts but with determination and the sizzling chemistry that burns between them Lonny and Lana wow readers with how passionate and strong their relationship is.

But this fast paced plot has buried secrets being uncovered, dangerous adversaries wanting Lana for themselves and surprising twist keeping Lonny and Lana hopping as well as keeping readers glued to the pages. The thrilling suspense builds and the danger escalates as Lana learns about her past just in the nick of time as her enemies are growing bolder and more determined. Allies join Lonny and Lana as they try to the nefarious plot of the man who would destroy Lonny and Lana’s happiness and the non-stop action ensures that readers are kept on the edge of their seat throughout this exhilarating romance and the strong, wonderful characters easily win readers’ hearts as Lana and Lonny learn that words can freeze, they can burn and they can mend what has been broken.

Frozen in Flames is the 9th book in the Others of Seattle series by Brandy L Rivers. This installment is the much anticipated story of Lonny and Lana. Lonny has all but given up on Lana when an attack on her keeps Lonny at her side, just as he was about to give up on winning her affections. Lana, unsure of herself and who she really has kept Lonny at a distance even if it meant they both suffered. Now with someone out to get her, Lana and Lonny must work together to stop this evil from claiming her while figuring out their feelings for each other.

I was looking forward to this installment not just because of Lonny and Lana but because of Alenathos and Fuerah. They have been supporting characters in various books in this series and now we finally get a glimpse of their past. The introduction of these two dragons in this series has opened me up to a new type of shifter. They way she describes Lana, Alenathos, and Fuerah as dragons is very descriptive. I hope Brandy writes more about this family of dragons.

I'm not going to tell you the story, read the blurb that's why it's there. I am going to tell you that this is a book worth reading. If you haven't read the 8 books that came before, that's fine (but why not? Go and read them) as this will still be an enjoyable read. Personally I love the reminders to things that happened in previous books. I thoroughly enjoy the background storyline flowing through each book while the focus is on one person or couple. The characters are always well-written and consistent.

Frozen in Flames is the story of Lonny, our one and only colourful man and Lana, of Fae origin but not sure exactly what she is. Lana has been pushing Lonny away and is finally ready to accept that they might be mates, when someone tries to attack her in her place of business. Thankfully, Lonny is there and prevents her from being hurt! But Lonny isn’t willing to hear Lana out afterwards and plans to leave town for a bit until she can decide what she wants. However, another attack places Lonny back in her sphere for protection and now more questions abound as to what she is!

A fantastic story, love all these characters and I can’t wait for more in this series 😍 Thank you to Brandy for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review❣️

What a cool story! I do wish I had read the other books in the series, and since I enjoyed this one so much, I think I will. This was a very thrilling paranormal romance that had me on the edge of my seat.

I really loved the romance between Lonny and Lana. It was an emotional rollercoaster, that tugged at my heartstrings a few times. However, when their relationship takes off, whew! It’s a sizzling, passionate romance, and I haven’t read such a compelling relationship in quite a while. The author knew what she was doing when she wrote these two.

A fast-paced plot, secrets, danger, romance – really, what more could you want in a book? I really am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. My TBR just got a little longer. I highly recommend checking this out!

I have been waiting for this book for a long time and glad to have the chance to write a review. This book is the story about Lana and Lonny I'm sorry to tell you I will not be giving you any spoilers you will have to read it yourself. What I will say is that it is well worth the wait it's going to answer a lot of questions and lead in to other stories. Brandy l rivers is a wonderful writer with a brilliant imagination I look forward to every book she writes. It goes without saying I did not put the book down until I finished. From the minute you open the book to the minute you put it down your mind opens up to the world which the characters live in. You will come invested in the story as much as I have and everyone else who has read the books honestly you will not be disappointed

Oh yes this definitely was a story that needed telling. These two have been on a collision course since the day Lonny first saw Lana. Once they get past the hurdle Lana put up, they work together to bring down the bad guy. It's great because in bringing these two together we also see closure for Lana's parents.

Good story. Best to have read the other books in the series because there is a lot of mention of characters and events from previous books. While reading, i realized that there were a couple of books I hadn’t read yet that were in my TBR pile and I wasn’t as familiar with some of the events mentioned.

Lana has always felt out of place and unwanted. Finally she has decided to stop fighting a mating with Lonny. Of course now is when someone is trying to capture her. Love and trust is what these two need. What a page turner. So love getting more of this series.

I seriously cannot get enough of Mrs Rivers’ characters, storylines or steamy love scenes! An amazing continuation of the Others of Seattle series!!!
