Seveyn Noel Crisco has just had her world rocked by devastating news that could break even the strongest person down. Instead of wallowing in her sorrows and basking in humiliation she changes the plans and decides to take off on a flight with her girls to Trinidad.

Great read !!
Get you a Raakesh after dealing with all the Chad's !!! Seveyn didn't know what she was getting herself into after that awful Chad but Raak was it for her !! Great read I feel like we need to see where they end up but this was a great book!

GOOD READ
Enjoyable read. When i first read the synopsis i immediately thought of How Stella Got Her Groove back. Seveyn was definitely stella in this book. She was faced with betrayal and devastation but with the help of her friends and new found lover, Seveyn was able to get herself in order and realize she deserved more than what Chad put her through. Happy she found love with Raak.

Nicely Done
This was a great short story. The connection between Raa and Sevyn was just amazing. They complimented each other perfectly. Chad really needed his ass whipped with that bitch move he mad with her stuff when he was at fault. Thanks for blessing us with another banger. Until next time❤

Good read. Seveyn definitely deserved Raakesh after the raw deal she got from Chad. Raakesh showed her how a real man treats his lady.

I really wanted to love this book with all my heart. It had all the components for a great story, but the execution just kind of fell through for me. It felt so incomplete and needed some serious proofreading/editing. Sometimes it seemed like our heroine, Seveyn was just rambling, with her thoughts being all over the place. Trust me, I was rooting for this author because I saw so much potential and truly wanted to see her talent shine through in this story.
I can definitely focus on my favorite parts because they have everything to do with the hero, Raakesh. He said, "If you let the actions of a grown boy alter your ideas of a grown man, then maybe he did ruin you . . . you can't allow his actions to control you. That will only make you give a man like me a hard time, when he doesn't deserve that." Yes! Preach! 🙌🏿 That man wasn't just trying to get next to Seveyn physically, but he was also trying to touch and enlighten her mind, her spirit, and her heart with some much needed knowledge, wisdom, and encouragement.🥰 ❤ That was something Seveyn desperately needed after wasting so much time with her no-good ex-fiancee' Chad.
And speaking of Chad, what in the world?! He was a snake and jack@$$ personified! 😠 I don't understand why Seveyn was so weak when it came to him; especially after all that proof of his shenanigans came to light. And, I doubt if his name was even on the lease, so she was well within her rights to boot his arse to the curb and change the darn locks! Boy, bye! Exit that way!➡️
I had to give her credit for exchanging that honeymoon getaway for a much needed girls' trip, but she still managed to frustrate me a little bit. When she started second guessing herself and was actually contemplating a relationship with Chad, my eyes could have rolled right out of my head.🙄 She continued to let him have too much control over her life, her thoughts, and her actions. If not for Raakesh in that last scene, I wasn't feeling too confident in her ability to handle the situation--not based on her frame of mind. Raakesh didn't play any games though! Unlike Chad, Raakesh backed up his words with action and came for his woman. I like that in a hero!👑💪🏿
I felt a little cheated because I expected a full story for these two. It felt like so much was missing . . . so much that could have been explored with a story that had such good bones like this one. I also wanted to get a peak at what a future with Raakesh and Seveyn looked like. Maybe they will appear in another book? I hope so...

Why in God's name did you leave me hanging like that honey? You are WRONG ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS! How are you just gonna feed me Raak then leave me to starve? It's official! Raak is my island bae husband! This is not up for discussion from anyone. Girl he made that child say screw her plans for her life lol. I loved every moment of this book. C. Monet, you did the dang ting boo lol. Chad's ba got EXACTLY what he deserved in the end. This book got me geeked about a GIRL'S TRIP! Keep sending these stories my way honey. Amazing Read
This book was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Chad is thee fucking worse...Seveyn truly didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly but I could already see from the beginning that Chad and her mother was going to be a problem... Dee and Risha are amazing friends and I can’t wait for their stories I know they will be full of laughs and amazing. They definitely lookout for Seveyn’s best interest... Raak #bookbae oh my my my I can tell that he is everything and much more he has already proven to Seveyn that given the chance she will always be treated like the Queen she is...Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read that left you wanting more

Girl you did it with this one!! This was Stella Got Her Groove Back times ten!! Raak was everything!! I wish Seveyn would have gotten out of her own head and not let Chad almost ruin it for her. And the audacity of him to cheat and have a hussy fit cause she enjoyed herself?? This was short and sweet yet oh so good. Dope Read!
First off, Chad is a b*tch and I don't like him. Anyway, Raak and Sevyn are too cute! I'm so glad she came out her shell and let her hair down. The ending gave me How Stella Got Her Groove Back vibes and I literally smiled as I read the scene because it felt like I was there. This was a well-written story that flowed well and kept my attention from page! I'll definitely read more from this author and recommend her work any day! Great job Queen.

This was an enjoyable read. Very relatable. Hell, we all need a good vacation after a horrible break up. Raak and the Island was just what the doctor ordered for Sevyn. Raak screamed sex appeal and I love his assertiveness. I’ll take a man any day that’s going to show me rather than just tell. And I’m glad he came for her at the end. Yassss Raak go get your woman!

Great read
This was such a great read. I was buckled in for a cute story about healing after heartbreak but what I got was so much better than that. Love a man who isn't afraid to brush off his dark side of it means protecting the peace instead of just keeping it.
Chad got everything he deserved and it was fantastic.
Sev got to do everything on her own time and in her own space but with all the love and support from Raak. Loved it!

I love this story and the societal mores it challenges. Every woman feels defined by a clock to get married and have children by a certain age. It makes us behave irrationally and often settle for less.

Wow
This book is definitely a page turner. Plans most oftentimes get broken; especially when trying to make out your life by certain time frames cause life throws so many curve balls into the mix. Seveyn learned this lesson in one of the most painful of ways.

Got that groove back!
The way Raak went after what he wanted and didn’t back down gave me life. He is the definition of alpha male. This book was awesome from start to finish and I can’t wait to read about the rest of their journey.
