3.5/5 – Not the strongest entry in Aso Sierra series (Delta Cygni is still my favorite), but still worth a read. Gustafson writes action really well, and her characters, Aso and Con are a lot of fun to spend time with. If you’re looking for quick, entertaining sci-fi stories, I heartily recommend Gustafson’s work. It’ll put in mind TV shows like Firefly, The Expanse, and even Blake 7 (now I’m aging myself!).
