What if the myth of the Minotaur was bullshit?

It's Larisa's unlucky day. Betrayed by the village chief, she's captured and brought to a mysterious island as a sacrificial offering to a vicious beast. Left bound in a subterranean labyrinth, drops of her blood summon the mythical Minotaur. She expects the man-beast to take her life, but the creature turns out to be something unexpected. Darron is a shape-shifting being from the stars who longs to be human. Larisa's decision to befriend him will change their hearts forever.

Had potential, but far too short, ending right when the story was beginning to pick up. Also, the anachronisms bothered me. Not sure if I would call it a romance, since it is barely touched upon, either.

only 4 chapters, the story was okay with some interesting world building but because it was so short it felt rushed.
