A. L. Wade grew up in a close-minded household and had the opportunity to experience the slow, thrilling phenomenon of discovering and exploring new possibilities--in writing. Her writing covers all the most popular fantasies, but has a great emphasis on silver foxes, age gap dalliances, and--quite by accident--getting hot and heavy in an assortment of vehicles.
In real life, she's actually a bit boring, enjoying her husband, riding her motorcycle, and working a dayjob.
This little tale runs on pure adrenaline. Between the forbidden nature of the entanglement, to almost being caught, and the desire to finally quench a desperate thirst.
From beginning to end, this book allows for a peek into the forbidden. The fire that can lay within it, but also the guilt.
The ending... is why I gave it 4 stars, not 5. It didn't work for me, personally, but each reader is different, and it is a wholly realistic conclusion, if perhaps not a happy one.
