It's the final book in the infinitely long series! Nathan's final, decisive battle against the forces of the cosmic bureaucracy is here! Director Fulcher puts a plan in motion to obtain the legendary Form 1 and wreak his terrible statutory revenge against Nathan. Can Nathan, Travis, Brian, and one very angry badger stop the bureaucrats before they regulate everything Nathan holds dear? An atheist crusade, bureaucrats getting between us and our laundry, and Nathan's choice of college majors, all in this thrilling conclusion to the You Are Dead series, You Are Concluded. (Sign Here Please)!
The brain damaged idiot Nathan has been tricked by Fulcher into getting his hands on Form 1, giving him unlimited power. It is now up to Nathan, Brian, Travis, the angry badger, and the rest of the crew to try to save not only Nathan, the city of Dead Donkey, Nevada, the entire Bureaucracy, but the entire universe in the conclusion of this series. FINALLY, this was mostly story, and not just a rehash of previous books! I’m actually going to kind of miss these guys.
The last book in a 6 book installment must be tricky to pen, and I can certainly understand the desire, and at times the need, to reuse old material. There were times it worked marvelously and times it felt the author overused copy and paste from organisations of previous installments. Overall funny and a good read. I look forward to reading other works from Mr. Stanek, but I am happy that this series has been concluded.
Honestly, it was hard to read this book because I felt like I had grown close to the characters(typical book worm). Nathan's final fight against the buracreats and Director Fulcher was one of his finest moments. Add in a group of cynical atheists, more angry badgers, and a very drunk Brian, you have a winner. I hope at some point we will see more of Travis, hopefully not bringing down a government.
I laughed so hard through this series that I couldn't begin to figure out how Mr. Stanek could continue the laughter through ending the series, but he did it!! Total insanity; loved every page!Loved Nathan Haynes, Travis, Ian, Rex and the pilot. Sometimes Brian was even a little loveable, but not as much as Mr. Fletcher. LOL
I'm sorry to see Dead Donkey go. Nathan, Travis, the angry badger helped make Dead Donkey an unforgettable town. The characters and the town, are going to be with me for a long time. Thank you for the laughs.
Very amusing series of books, well concluded. I enjoyed the first few more than the others, as the concepts became a bit repetitive after a time. But I recommend this if you're anti-bureaucratic and looking for a few laughs.
This is the final book in the comedic "You are" series. Nathan, with the help of his friends Travis, Brian and Angry Badger battles with the cosmic bureaucracy one last time.
Firstly, you should definitely read the first book in this series before trying this final book. Secondly, if you have, you will love this book! I've been putting it off because I didn't want it to end, but this book definitely did justice to hilarious insanity of the You are dead series. I won't spoil it, but it was an ending done right (and as funny as ever!).
