Jingle Balls

Rate this book
Deck the balls with fits of giggles.

The holidays are coming and so is Jaxson Dane. Now that he is rid of his virginity at the age of twenty-three, the comic-loving Jaxson and his sexy ER nurse boyfriend, Tyler Mason, have completed all the lessons in the Sex Ed handbook. Or have they? Not in Jaxson’s mind as there is one final lesson left he desperately wants instruction on. His boyfriend deserves everything Jaxson can give him for the holidays, but how does he wrap this present with a bow?

Tyler’s life feels nearly fulfilled between his job, raising his nephew, Colton, and Jaxson. With the holiday season upon them, Tyler sees a family trip to the snowy slopes of Colorado as a perfect time to give Jaxson the ultimate gift-the rest of his heart and forever. However, as the trip progresses, Tyler senses something awry in Jaxson’s tinsel-tangled spirit.

Can Jaxson continue his education in Sex Ed without getting his chestnuts roasted over an open fire? Will Tyler adorn Jaxson’s ring finger with the perfect accessory and truly make it the most wonderful time of the year?

With these two, the holiday season is truly a gift that keeps giving.
This is a fun 31k-ish word novella

As a little girl it was always a dream for Z.B. Heller to become She-Ra Princess of Power. Since this dream was unobtainable, she spent what was probably way to long in college trying to "find herself". Becoming an artist scratched the creative itch until the stories in her head were getting to be to loud for her to get anything else accomplished. She lives in St. Louis with her husband, son and Flemish Giant rabbit Chloe. In her spare time she likes to read, stalk celebrities on Twitter and create the type of art that people scratch their heads about.

The Chronicles of Moxie is Z.B. Heller's debut novel.

Tyler and Jaxson return in this hilarious Christmas short.
It has the same zany family and friend doing what they do best, trying to help but doing everything but..
A funny and highly entertaining love story about friends, family and love.
I loved watching how the relationship between Tyler and Jaxson has progressed. It's full of crazy and fun. A great Christmas addition.
Highly recommend.

So my thoughts on this story pretty much mirror the first book in that its sweet, funny and crazy over the top. If looking for quick easy ready with some festive fun this is perfect, but otherwise it wasn't really for me.

There are some great hilarious lines and entertaining scenes, yet theres also a huge dose of cringe worthy moments and gross stuff similar to the first book that just didn't work for me.

Usually i can handle a lot of humor and crazy to an extent, yet the family here is a bit too much in talking about and being obsessed with each others sex lives.

However saying that i still adore Ethan and Sophie, along with Jeff who stands out here and i adore Cooper for his short scene.

The ski resort was a lot of fun and the manger scene was hilarious, along with the plane journey.

Although every guy they met seemed to be instantly attracted and flirt with Jaxon for some reason.

Overall it was enjoyable to see the progress between Jaxon and Tyler, how their relationship has developed and was a sweet festive read.

With a fitting happy end for these two, i adored that it wasn't smooth sailing and how related back to their first meeting was lovely! 💕

This short novella that goes with Sex Ed. It’s an MM romantic comedy.

This was better than the first book. It’s a continuation of Tyler and Jaxson’s story.

Z.B. Heller is guaranteed to bring you a rip-snorter of a romantic comedy and she's certainly delivers in this follow-up to the hilarious Sex Ed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this continuation of Jaxson and Tyler's love story as well as the additional reminders of the glory that is Moxie (The Chronicles of Moxie). The set-up for the final chapters is fantastic and the old adage of "with friends (& family) like these, who need enemies" rings true as favorite secondary characters all try to interfere/help the MCs with their Christmas wishes.

In typical over-the-top humour, Zolie delivers a fun Christmas-themed short that'll have you thoroughly entertained and laughing out loud from start through to finish.

Warning! This book is hilarious!

In this novella we revisit Jaxson and Tyler who we first read about in Sex Ed. Sex Ed promised lots of laughs and Jingle Balls is no different. Jaxson and his family travel to a ski lodge for the Christmas holiday--which promises to be entertaining for poor unathletic Jaxson. Jaxson's family continues to meddle in his relationship and his sister and cousin keep up their fantastically entertaining banter. Jaxson and Tyler find out that there is one more sex ed lesson left to be completed. Poor Jaxson can't seem to catch a break from the embarrassing accidents but finally he gets his shining moment. This book made me laugh so much and so hard that I couldn't breathe. I highly recommend reading Sex Ed first to get the full effect but even if you don't Jingle Balls is hilarious.

Sex Ed (the first book in this series) is one of my all time favourite romantic comedy reads so, when I heard ZB Heller was planning a sequel, I was eagerly anticipating the return of Tyler and Jason.

Going in, you are guaranteed a snorting good time and Zollie did not disappoint. Tyler is planing a surprise for Jason this holidays but, Jaxon has othe things on his mind, namely his wanting to top his BF for the first time. As you can imagine, a series of hilarious situations follow. While both Jacob and Tyler get their Christmas wish, there are of course some of the most ridiculous but, hilarious situations they must overcome first.

If you loved the first book in this series, Jingle Balls is a must read. A solid addition to the Christmas story genre!

In this novella sequel to Sex Ed we revisit Jaxson and Tyler and see how their relationship has been. Be warned. This book is just as funny as the first book. And yes, you have to read Sex Ed to fully follow this book.
This book is a nice little wrap up of Jaxson and Tyler’s relationship. We get more of Jaxson’s crazy family and Tyler’s nephew Colton.
I highly recommend this story. It’s a great cure for a crappy day. All the jokes and embarrassment caused to the character will have you laughing the whole time.

You have to read this book but first you need to read Sex Ed first. You meet Jaxson and Tyler in Sex Ed.
Again ZB has given her readers a great read with laugh ou loud antics of Sophie and Evan and the sex tension of Jaxson and Tyler. This book is laugh out loud till you cry. Heed the warning at the start of the book about not drinking and eating while reading I didn’t and tea went everywhere.
This book wouldn’t be the same without a dose of Moxie.
I laughed till I cried in the one scene where Tyler and Jaxson where trying to get it on in the manger and Jaxson started talking about sheep butts and rimming.
I have just finished it and want to read again and will do.
Love this book. Highly deserving of 5 stars and more.

Warning, please do not read whilst drinking😆

A gut busting, rib cracking read. Z.B Heller has brought joy to my festive season by bringing us this wonderful follow up to Sex Ed.

Jingle balls allows us readers to see how Jaxson and Tyler are doing after their hmmm eventful ?! Start to their relationship lol. Again the writing is flawless, allowing the reader to fall seamlessly into the story, and when it ended (as all good things do sadly) it leaves you hungry for more from this author.
Well done on a cracking read, absolutely loved it.
Honestly hit read today, you won't regret it!

I read this for the last phrase of the book, "jingle all the way," so I didn't have much expectation beyond that. I've read the previous book where Tyler and Jaxson meet and fall in love, but I wasn't crazy about most of the family, especially Moxie, who is a borderline bully as far as I'm concerned. They're not really much better in this one, although I enjoy their family of three very much. The rest of the extended family I could do without completely. If you like zany families with no internal filters or boundaries, this is this author for you, but I'm stopping with this one. Two (three?) Z.B. Heller is my lifetime max.

Freakin loved it

Once again Z.B Heller has given her readers yet another amazing book to read. Jingle Balls was hilarious. I loved it as much as i do her other books.
There's non stop laughter and high jinx as usual and what book wouldn't be a hit with out the effervescent Moxie throwing her drama around and loving you harder then ever before.
Jaxson and Tyler got a happily ever after i can't wait to read more from Z.B Heller i just need to make sure my undies are padded first because trust me when i say . " you will pee your self laughing every chapter at a time

Slightly better than the first.

While this was a definite improvement on the first story for Jaxson and Tyler, it still fails for me. The author opts for farcical and outlandish scenarios with unnecessarily crude humor to try and convey comedy. It doesn’t endear any of these characters to me. A few minor typos, two repugnant "jokes" linking female privates and fish odor/taste, an unnecessary cameo by vomit, countless moments of trying too hard to be funny/sexy/romantic and 1 star is all I've got in the end. Adding this author to my personal Do Not Read Again list.

amazing story, horrible editing

This story was the perfect follow up to Jaxson and Tyler’s story. Adorkable and hilarious. I’m giving it four stars only because the editing was so bad that it took me out of the story quite a few times. Spelling, grammar and typos that should have been fixed before letting this be published are just not acceptable. Otherwise, super fun and cute story. It seems there’s a story brewing about Cooper and Jeff. I hope it’s out there and it’s better edited!

I had no doubt that I would love this story and I'm glad I was right. I loved Sex Ed and it was so awesome to go back and see some of my favorite characters. It's not to often that you read something and love every person you meet but you just can't help but love the crazy that is everyone in this story. This book is sweet and funny and I'm so sad to be done with it but so happy I got to reconnect with Jaxson and Tyler. Thanks again Z.B for another awesome read.

Aka Bunny Fu and the Butthole

I laughed, I cried, I winced, I hid my face in my hands, I peaked through my fingers, I crossed myself (and I'm not even Christian), and then I laughed some more. A great comeback comedy from a great author. If you want to read this, though, you definitely need to read Sex Ed first. Otherwise, you won't be traumatized enough to enjoy this experience.

This is the sequel to Sex Ed, which has the same problems as it did as well as extra grammatical errors, but at least this focused more on scenes where Tyler and Jaxson were alone or with just Tyler's nephew Colton who they're raising. I mean, at least he was just a typical hormone-filled 14 year old with a sarcastic bent and not an insulting, boundary violating person like almost everyone else in the book besides the protagonists.

The perfect follow up to Sex Ed

Jaxson and Tyler are the couple that makes you laugh, sends the heat up, and makes you sigh on that goofy aw how sweet they are way. You will laugh until you can’t breath and then laugh more. The heat is still through the roof with these two and I love seeing more of everyone. Hope that more books will come in this world.

Hilarious

If you loved Sex Ed anywhere near as much as me you absolutely have to read Jingle Balls. It was so good to catch up with the boys and their families. This author does comedy incredibly well so that you fall in love with the characters at the same time you are laughing at them.

Perfect Christmas read.

This was the best way to follow up Sex Ed. I haven't read a story with the characters so true to their original characters in every single way while still giving us fresh exciting material. And that goes for all of them not just the main ones. Well worth waiting for but then, it's Z. B. Heller so that's a given.

Nawwwww… what a sweet and funny follow up to Sex Ed.

Jaxson and Tyler are so cute and totally perfect for one another and that all the expected sidekicks appeared too was an added bonus! Colton, especially, holds a piece of my heart 🥰

I’ve missed these guys!

This story was a nice addition to the original story. Jaxson is still adorkable and Tyler is as sweet as ever. It’s nice to see a glimpse of them being “dads” to Tyler’s nephew with the hope of a baby in the future. There is love and laughs to go around A+
