Kamara has given up on finding true love, but a chance encounter with a handsome stranger named Dre sends her heart into a frenzy. As their courtship evolves into love, Kamara is hell bent on getting her master’s degree and pursing a stable career. In the process, things seem to go left, and many curve balls are thrown to get her off course. Drama ensues, but Dre seems to be willing to go the extra mile for the woman he loves. As the years go by things start to change drastically between Kamara and Dre. To make matters worse, some chick hits her DM up with receipts of an affair with him. Emotions spiral out of control, but Dre insists that the affair meant nothing to him. He is adamant about staying with Kamara and rebuilding her trust. Heartbroken and confused, Kamara also must deal with the fact that the other woman is stalking her on and off social media. Not knowing if she’s a real threat, Kamara tries to keep her head on straight and her guard up. Dealing with all types of mixed feelings, she finds herself in a dangerous situation with the man next door who is interested in pursuing her. Will she end up a victim of circumstance, or will she come out of it all unscathed with her life and heart intact?

Great Read
What Kamara went through with Dre trifling behind. Is something that a lot of women has gone through. All the sign's were there but she turned a blind eye. Dre was a habitual and pathological liar. He created some of the most unbelievable lies and Kamara fell for them until reality smacked her in the face.

Men!!!
I have read many books by this author.
This one didn't bring the heat for me. It was a good storyline, but really didn't have a lot of suspense. The scenes were repetitive. I think this would be good for a mid twenties reader.

Soooo good
Man the twist and turns with this book, I didn’t know what to believe. Nika is a beast when it comes to the pen. Dre was something else. I can’t wait to see how this ends.

So much drama Lawd have mercy I didn’t know where to begin or end... I have no clue why the hell Kamara kept dealing with Dre when she always knew exactly what it was... I’m just glad it’s over because I was stressed

Long and drawn out!!
You kept repeatedly going back and forth with the same thoughts and actions, which made this book VERY boring!! I will not read book 2!

I'm glad Kam finally realized Dre was full of crap. Marley was right Karma is very real and he got what he gave out.

Dre ughhhhh I cant stand him period. He was a ole dirty dog. This book was real life. Every page had me with my mouth open. Listening to the lies. Everything he said was a lie. Kamara put up with to much as we often do. Lets me go get part 2
