Assassins Inc. #4

Stryking Out

Rate this book
Stryker - I was sent on a mission to investigate a shifter running guns. I was not sent to find my mate, and yet, there he was. Every gorgeous inch of him. It was just too bad he was right in the middle of the mess I was there to stop. If I can keep him alive long enough, I might be able to discover how my mate ended up in so much trouble. Frankie - My life turned upside down when I discovered a sexy man hiding in the wine cellar at a cocktail party. Finding him naked in my bed later that night just about topped every fantasy I'd ever had. The fact that he was a shifter didn't seem that important. The fact that he thought I was a shifter made things a little weird. When armed men broke into my apartment to kill us, weird took on a whole new meaning. Things just got weirder from there.

About Me
I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.

I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

***** Shifters, bad guys, hot lovin' and more.
Frankie is tattooed and pierced, and is a loving son.
William, 6'2", blonde wavy hair and blue eyes, is helping the FBI undercover.
At a party at his Mom's, Frankie goes to the basement to get more champagne, where he overhears a gun deal in the process.
In his hiding place he meets blondie William, Panther shifter, getting evidence on the gun running deal. Frankie's new stepbrother is a coyote shifter and is in the midst of the illegal mess.
Frankie and William's banter is cute and snarky, but now Frankie knows too much, but he didn't know he was a shifter ! There is violence and shootouts, plus rescue and romance.
This short story is fast paced and full of action.
ENJOY !

This was cute like the others in the series, but so short that it didn’t have a lot of depth.

It does take a bit away from the quality of the romance if there’s insta-love and then a lot of action to fill up the rest of the story, as was the case here. But other than that it was still a very sweet Stormy Glenn kind of book.

And I really did love the fact that these guys walk their cats in the park on a leash together. How adorable is that!

Another good book, I would have given s better rate if it wasnt for. Samson is now called sampson and Henry who is a lion in book 3, is a wolf in book 4.
I realy liked the chemistey between Stryker and Frankie and the banter between them.

Ok

Not bad, could have been longer. A lot of money for such a short story. No depth to characters, felt like the story was rushed

Me ha gustado la relación aunque haya nacido de una situación extraña, la forma en que se desarrollaron las cosas estuvo muy bien, de veras que ha sido mi favorito hasta el momento.

Not bad

For a shifter series, funny in some parts, loving and sexy in others. One thing I always hate is the many typos that find their way into a book, one would think with ACR's, proofreaders and editors that wouldn't happen. I mean books are to be enjoyed and when a reader finds a lot of typos they may not want to buy anymore books from that author

I really like how Stryker (panther shifter) and Frankie (coyote shifter but didn't know it) met. The fact that they were mates made it even that much more fun. There was action, danger, mystery, love, family, lots of heat and best of all, Spike, the beautiful, big and fluffy, Maine Coon cat. Definitely an enjoyable and very compelling read.

Book 4 of shifter love and adventure

Book 4 of the shifter assassins series was another fun and quick read. The MCs are non-angsty men, who meet, claim and form a HEA with their mate. You just got to love them. ❤️

Frankie loved his mother but hated her high-end parties. While attending one such party, he never expected the boy next door to knock his socks off. Now he just needs to survive the encounter.
Stryking Out is fourth in Stormy Glenn’s Assassin’s Inc. series. I really enjoyed meeting Frankie. He was so unexpected. He meant what he said and said what he meant. Which didn’t sit well with the high society his mom had recently entered. I love that Stryker threw Frankie for a curve. He wasn’t sure what to expect when he met Stryker but it wasn’t the death that followed.
Ms. Glenn gave us to action from beginning to end. Frankie is dropped into a new world. A world he doesn’t understand but he does understand that he needs Stryker. I love that Stryker appreciates what Frankie brings into his world. I love that Stryker gets to experience something he thought would pass him by.
I love returning to this world Ms. Glenn has created a family by choice. I loved returning to this world where love, respect, honor, and loyalty are paramount. I enjoyed seeing the support this unconventional pride gives to each other. This story by Ms. Glenn is a well written enjoyable read. And I hope she will return to this world again in the future.

The ‘Assassins Inc.’ series by Stormy Glenn is one of my favorites by her and I feel as if I’ve been waiting a really long time for Stryker’s story. Bob (from the first installment) is still my all-time fave character but I had a feeling after reading the blurb that Frankie might go toe-to-toe with Bob. I was also dying to see if Samson had gotten Henry a cat so he, too, could walk his cat in the park with Bob and Sinclair. Trust me, you’ve got to read these to understand!

”Why are you hiding in the wine cellar?"
The man's perfectly manicured eyebrow lifted. "Why are you?" "Well, I'd rather be at home jerking off, but I got guilted into being here by my mother." I cocked my head. "What's your excuse?"
And this would be why I didn't get invited to all the popular parties. I was not meant to brush shoulders with polite society. My mouth got away from me way too often…” ~ Frankie (Yep, I was hooked!)

I enjoyed this story. Not sure if this will be the last one or not. This book was about the last of the group but there have been some extra characters that could eventually get stories. I would definitely be excited to read more of this series.

Perfect story and wonderful characters. Loved the kittens lol. The only problem I saw was that in a few spots Henry was said to be a wolf, but he is actually a lion shifter. Other than that great story as always.
