Llamas are one of my favorite animals, so when I saw this in the bookstore, I bought it without even thinking. I feel that this is one of those books that you don't read through multiple times. It's more of something you have to give you that little extra bit of motivation when you need it. So yes, I gave it two stars. Does that mean it's a bad book? No, it just means that I probably won't be reading it from cover to cover again. Will I pick it up and open it for a word of wisdom when needed? Without a doubt.

i picked this up as a quick catch-up for my reading challenge, on which i am very, very behind. it's so hard to read when you can watch everything david tennant has ever been in instead. the broadchurch cast is truly magical, y'all.

this was a christmas present from a friend, and it was a cute present that i appreciate very much. that being said, it could have been a bit funnier. the author tried, but some of this was actually kinda deep and that's not how we play it in this house.

What a delightful little book! "Llamas are social animals who sometimes like to ascend the mountain bunched one behind the other and have a furry conga which is fun but requires the cooperation and assistance of everyone for it to work..." and "Compassion is by its very nature peaceful and gentle but it is also powerful like a dove in a high governmental position."

I'm not sure this is a fit for a pre-teen boy who got it as a gift, but it's a cute little read. I had more chuckles than I would have expected and enjoyed it.

It's short and a fast read. Most of the book are the Dolly Llama's teachings. There are some fun ones that provide rather apt depictions of llama life. But I think the intros for each section were the most fun.

Not sure I would buy this. But a good borrow book from the library.
