Rainy Day has been lusting over her boss for months and has even been bold enough to voice her desires to the handsome Kaizer Hanover, founder of her marketing firm. Unfortunately, shooting her shot didn't exactly go as planned and she's been trying to find anything to blame the dismissal on but rejection. The brushing off of her comments and never-ending jokes are merely enough to shut her up and she continues to poke the sleeping beast until he wakes. As fate would have it, the universe shifted in Rain's favor but she's completely speechless when her open threats are finally put to the test and her boss is dinging her doorbell.

This was a good short and had a lot of potential but it wasn’t really a complete story. More so a few good scenes. You blinked and it was over! I did love Rainy and Kaizer we just needed more!
This was a good start to a story, but was definitely too short. We didn't really get to know much about the characters. Rain seemed like she was going to be a piece of work.
Rain was a whole vibe, cutting up in the office with her girl Gabriella, and lusting over her boss Kaizer Hanover. Convinced that Kaiser is gay, because he continues to turn down her advances, she gets reckless with her mouth around him. Mr. Hanover seizes the opportunity to show Rain some thangs, when she calls off on Christmas Eve Eve.
How did I get so many laughs, and a sexy scene in 37 pages huh? That’s Grey for ya! I enjoyed it, but I need more.
My girl never ever disappoints!! Whenever I get in a reading slump from other books I stumble across a new book and get back in the groove! I loved this story!!
The Gifted was 100% real and sexy. All grown and sexy. I absolutely loved this story. Rain is full of sass yet she knows what she wants. While Kaiser is a sexy alpha male who plans to please and gets what he wants when he wants.
Grey Huffington didnt hold back with this one. I enjoyed the ecounter of Rain and Kaiser, in my eyes it was very realistic and with lots of grown and sexy on every page. Kaiser although the boss seemed to give into Rain and the way that he did with her Christmas gift was everything. I got my whole entire life while reading this. Rain I feel knew exactly what she was doing and she got what she wanted too...lol.
From time to time I can be Rain and would go on about life accordingly.
Ask and you shall absolutely receive. Rain talked reckless, flirted boldly and the universe said bet. What started as playful lust and elevator banter turned into her fantasies knocking literally at the door. The tension in this story lives in the chase: her confidence, his restraint and the moment when restraint finally clocks out. Rain really had me wondering if her mouth was about to write a check her ass couldn’t cash LITERALLY!!! Kaizer showed up ready to collect and very sure of himself. Gay huh lemme show you.
This was short, spicy and straight to the point. No filler, just vibes. Power dynamics, mutual desire and a man who knows exactly who he is and what effect he has. Quick read, heavy energy and proof that sometimes manifestation works a little too well.

Sometimes wanting what you may think you cannot have can keep you optimistic. In this short yet sensual story you understand that Christmas gifts aren’t always purchases. Rain was reluctantly gifted with not just a box of condoms from her sexy well-dressed boss Mr. Kaizer for Christmas, but steamy sex. (Kaizer was also her secret Santa which made things a bit more interesting.)
To me Kaizer was a well rounded character. I still felt a little disconnected from Rain’s character. The sex scenes were a tad bit bland. Overall, it was a decent quickie from the author.

When Rainy Day called off for the holiday party, she never expected her Secret Santa (the boss that she's been shamelessly flirting with) to personally deliver her gift to her home. Once she sees what's inside, there's no turning back and she finds out just how gifted Kaiser Hanover really is.
Disclaimer: There were some editing issues, but a good story nonetheless. I look forward to reading more from @greyhuffington.
I needed something with some soul after my previous read. This gave me the melanin magic that I was looking for. It was a quickie, so there wasn’t much character development. I got enough of Rainy’s character to say that she was hilarious. I appreciated her go-getter personality even if it was unprofessional. Her situationship with Kaizer was a lot of fun. He definitely gave her a great gift.
I missed Grey. I missed her writing and how she just develops such short but impactful stories.
Kaizer did not come to play with Rain. And I love that for HER. I almost wish it was longer — would’ve love to see something blossom from them. But like it said — a short treat. It was exactly that.
I enjoyed reading this, it was straight foward and to the point. I just wish it was longer but beggers can't be choosers. I will say I would love to read more with Rain and Kaizer they're INTERESTING!!!
Gifted indeed. What is it about those Hanover men that have women going out of their minds? I would love to read more about Kaizer and Rain. Their relationship could be quite explosive. Loved it Grey Huffington 😍
One thing I love about Grey's books is how creative she is with her character names. Rainy Day was funny and a ball of fun with Gabriella. Kaizer's gift was exactly what Rainy needed for the holiday season. Short but a really good story that left me wanting more!
This was a very quick read, but quite entertaining! It definitely leaves you wanting more from Rain and Kaiser. I didn't pick up the Hanover connection while reading. But them Hanover genes sure are special!
This was darn good matter fact great, I loved it that darn Rain and Kaizer whoo! Gabriella and Rain had me crying laughing and Kaizer as they say you gotta watch out for them quiet ones! Great short read!
Big surprises!! I'm really gone need more of Kaiser. Rain is a mess. I don't think Kaiser is gone be ready for all of Rain. She spunky but I could sense the submissiveness in her.
Short, cute, and hot! Rain and Kaiser was a fun read. I’m glad that she was relentless in her investigation lol. I’m glad that he took advantage of the opportunity of being her Secret Santa lol.
This short story was a quick and fast read, yet very entertaining. I absolutely cannot stand reading a boring story, so thank you Grey, because I have yet to read a boring book that you've written.
I love when a novella is straight to the point and pretty realistic in plot.. I'm a new fan. I love Grey's writing style. It's like talking to a good good girl friend with the most vivid imagination!
Gifted was a nice short read. Rain boldly states what she really wants from her Secret Santa in an elevator, not expecting to actually receive it from the one person she has already dismissed as not being interested.
You will enjoy this fast pased read.

This book was too short! I loved it so much however I needed more. Gray has a way of writing her characters so well and so intriguing I really wanted to know more about both the FMC and the MMC. Highly recommend!
Well this book was such a tease but I like it. Mr Kaiser definitely gave Rain what she was wishing for. Now let’s see what comes from this encounter. Overall cute read
Ooh, this really was a treat! Now I want me a Secret Santa! Haha. This was a really fun read! I adored Rain’s boldness and her banter with Mr. Hanover. My only “complaint” is that it was too short! Haha.
