Bella: The Ending: A Sagatori Family Saga

Rate this book
Protecting Bella had always been the plan and the only thing I ever wanted. Accepting her fathers offer to love and protect her was an honor. And I would honor that until the day I died. No matter the outcome of it all I’d never stop loving or protecting her.
I’d begun this journey running for my life the night he saved me. I was scared and desperate for salvation. Now… he’s my world, the air I breath, the one and only person I’d ever allow to hold my soul in the palm of his protective hand.
Love isn’t easy, but this love… this love is inconceivable, irrevocable, undeniable, unyielding, and immortal.

If you want to read this one I would say give it a go and let me know what you think. Because it isn't because I hated it that you would hate it.

Oh how I wished I loved it... These kind of reviews are something I hate to do. I'm not a person who enjoy's to bring a book down, but I do need to write a review to let go of my feelings toward the book. That's why I write reviews how long or short they are, they help my recover from it.

I just can't get my head around that I loved the first 3 parts that I read when it was released seperatly and now I can't stand it.. I don't get it am I changed or is the content of the book different?

I really dislike Bella.. She is infuriating! She's naive and just dumb! Like in my first review mentioned she doesn't learn from her mistakes.. I'm not even close to being born in the mafia but I've read so much about it (the fiction kind) that even I know what to do and what to don't! She is the mafia princess daughter of the boss of bosses and she doesn't learn... Come on I'm getting irritated by thinking of it!

It was so much drama packed in a package that I just felt like it was all pushed.. I didn't even get the feeling like in other books that it makes me dissapear in that world. No if I did it with this one I'm sure I would'nt survive..

I'm very sorry for this bad review, but I needed to get it of my heart!

"I am a bad guy, Bella. The very worst of them all." - Jax

Can we just talk about how BEAUTIFUL this cover is?!?! I am usually not one for covers, like at all. BUT the covers in this duet are GORGEOUS and worthy of mentioning!

Bella: The Ending kicked off with a BANG!
The start of the story jumps right back in where the first book left off and wow, the drama was cranked right up. Jax has some 'splaining to do!

description
I was married to a mobster, a clever man, a man I loved with every cell of my soul, but I couldn't let this go. I simply couldn't do as he'd asked me to. I wasn't built for obedience. I wasn't built to be the good girl who did as I was told, not even for Jax, but for now, I'd say what I must.
"Okay, Jax, I'll leave it alone."
- Bella

Bella is being put thru the RINGER in this book. I'm serious, the drama is non-stop from the second you open the book. In a good way though. Her strength really shows in this book, and the lengths she'll go for Jax are endless. Their love is so passionate - you can feel it seeping off the pages.

The book had good flow from one conflict to the next and held my attention throughout. I did find some scenes a little jumpy at times, but it didn't disrupt my reading enjoyment.

Bella, The Ending, is a knuckle biting story full of anticipation, danger, violence, intrigue and love. Don't forget the love, because although this story is action packed, secrets are revealed and lives are on the line, at the heart is the passionate romance between Bella and Jax. They’ve gone through more in their short relationship than they could ever have imagined. Just when they think they’ve overcome one hurdle, another bigger problem threatens to tear them apart.

Overall, I enjoyed the conclusion to Bella and Jax’s story, but I did find some aspects of it frustrating and the storyline lost me for a while in the middle. There were times when Bella came across as childish and immature, no doubt due to her pampered and secluded upbringing, but I found this distracting and it took me out of the story. Nevertheless, I admired her strength of character and she was certainly not one to back down once she made her mind up. Jax is the one who shows his vulnerability here, something we haven’t seen before. The question is, when everything seems to be falling apart and revelations rock them to their core, who can they trust to have their backs? Will they be able to save each other and will anyone emerge unscathed?

Drama

Plot holes and unbelievable drama! I felt like I was reading twilight again with all the whining and bad decisions. It didn’t help that her name was Bella too. How dumb can a character be?

Oh and the book needed a total editor! Can’t believe I finished it.

I received an ARC for an honest review
Review by Country Gals Book Blog

Jax and Bella‘s story wasn’t over as even more secrets become unveiled in their love story. With twists we never saw coming, a past that could change everything, and an uncertain future we are in a constant state of shock. It brings up issues that are hardly talked about, insecurities and testing the boundaries of trust that have us screaming why!!!!? I loved part two so much and I felt Jax and Bella’s love grew and Bella became stronger and less childish then she had been in Book 1. I can’t wait to read the other characters stories.

Addictive steamy the way she writes and gets you so invested in the characters it's like you can picture them right there. She has taking her series and added more to it making it more possible so hot and powerful. The love that is there between Bella and Jax is not only magnetic but also dangerous. You will re-read this book over and over again because the surprises she throws in will make it worth it.

A bit of background…if this series looks familiar it is! This series started in 2016 as 12 monthly instalments, but we stopped at book 7. Now the author is back with a new name (was Kimberly Blalock and now Kimberly Soto) and she has repackaged/written the first part of Bella’s story and will release just 2 large books to tell the whole journey. I’m much happier this duet format as I hated the endless cliffhangers we dealt with in the prior format. Make sure you read Bella: The Beginning, before reading Bella: The Ending.

We pick up where we left off in The Beginning and Bella is learning that she is not who she thinks she is. I’ll fill in a few more thoughts later…..

Unfortunately, this felt a bit disjointed for me. At times Bella worshiped Jax and needed him to stand beside her, but on the other hand she would question him at every turn and act like a spoiled child. I couldn’t quite deal with the push pull they had going on. I felt like they both had a split personality disorder. Overall there were some amazing twists that I didn’t see coming.

Hero 5 Jax | Heroine 5 Bella | Plot 4 | Writing Style 4 | Steam 3 | Romance 1 | Angst-Suspense 4 | Darkness 2 | Humor 2 | Secondary Characters 4 | Drama-Conflict 3 | Mystery 4 | Twists 4 | Action 4 | Pacing Steady | Dual POV | MF | Mafia | Arranged Marriage | Book 2 in duet | Overall 4 Stars

Good story with unexplained events🤔

This was an exciting rollercoaster romantic mafia love story when it was originally written in books 1 thru 7. However, I understand why the author wanted to rewrite some of the events . Bella wanted to be a leader, to run her father business but she did not have a clue how to begin nor finish it. She made poor decisions based off emotions, not a good listener and did not think about the consequences how it would affect the people that was there to help or protect her. Bella, caused so many unnecessary problems that could have been avoided. I get that she had been sheltered all of her life and wanted to be taken serious but she needed to grow up,but that was not her fault. I was not please what happened to her husband. There was a few unexplained events that happened that was not explained, but overall it was good that Bella and Jax found their way back at the end.

This is the exciting conclusion to Bella and Jax’s story, it was gripping and I could not put it down. This book took more turns that I wasn’t expecting and the tension didn’t let up until the very end.

I still love Bella, she’s fierce and stronger than people expect. She struggled with wanting independence, not wanting to be in the dark like most wives, and her love for Jax. She needs him beside her but also wants to be able to stand on her own.

I really felt for Jax in some parts. You see how much he loves Bella and the toll the events in the book take on him. I love that he’ll jump into any situation for her, more concerned about others than the danger to himself.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat and my heart pounding: couldn’t get through it fast enough, needing to see what happens. I can not recommend Bella enough.

Bella: The Ending picked up right where the previous book left off. The violence, the suspense and the deceit continued at a fast-paced. I was caught off guard at the unexpected turn and development. Bella and Jax’s love was challenged and it broke my heart a little. At one point I was so enraged that I was tempted to throw my kindle across the wall. The ending of the story was shocking but sweet. I really look forward to Chase’s story that will be coming next.

I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Secrets....

What happens when all the secrets that have been me or from Bella come to life? Just how does she handle them, and just how does Jax handle her.? I'm a sucker for a good Mafia read and this book did not disappoint.

I had been patiently waiting to just see how Bella and Jax's story would really end. Wow! The things these two have gone through and go through in this book would have most cringing and begging for a way out. The strength that Bella has in nothing short than amazing. When all the secrets are out we get to see all of her strength. Their love never sways even with all the curveballs thrown there way.

Looking forward to Chase's story and seeing justly who brings that man to his knees.

WOW! What a way to round out the story! I was a bit concerned since the first book suffered from some editing issues. It read like stand alone chapters vs a whole book. BUt the Ending! Whew! Could not put this down. SO many secrets revealed. Loved Bella to pieces once she got her act together. When all else seems lost, family is what matters. Loved that Bella was willing to step up to the plate and risk it all to keep those she loved safe.

Jax was kind of ehhh for me for most of the book. Happy to see him come through in the end.

But wait! There's more??? Oh yes! Can't wait to see what happens to the Moretti brothers.

I'm totally blown away! The Bella Duet sent my heart racing on one wild and crazy ride of emotions! Unexpected twists and turns hidden in every corner! Unbelievable!

Jax and Bella has had so much happen in the short time they have been together but their love is unconditional no matter what obstacles were thrown in their path.

The pieces of the puzzle begin to fall in place when Bella's past is revealed. Lies, murder, deceit, suspense and drama in this action packed mafia romance.

Kimberly Soto has a special talent of writing that keeps you intrigued throughout the entire story. You feel the emotions of the characters.

I would highly recommend this fabulous duet!

When you have waited for the ending to a story that has held you enthralled each time you started to read the pages the ending always comes to soon. I wanted to know how it would end for Bella and Jax. How their story would play out I could never have foreseen all of that!
I love how Kimberly Soto managed to work through all the loose ends and tie them up.
The other characters always stay so true to life helping to round out Bella and Jax.
Can't wait for the next book in this family series!! Patiently waiting!

Okay read

First book I like Bella, she was strong and hardheaded; take no prisoners kind of girl. But in this book she was supper annoying. Every bad situations that happened to her it’s because of her smh. I couldn’t deal with her in this book especially with her condition, she puts herself in to many bad situations. And straight up disrespect her husband in front of his colleagues. Who does that? The second book was just okay for me. The second characters Tony, Alexandra and Chase I adored.

First and foremost let us address an issue. It was previously written. So? I say you should look at the author, just to learn about them. If you would just look up Kimberly Soto you wld have seen this so stop w your drama! Moving on!!! Bella and Jax are again at it!! So many twists, Bella is a freaking badass! Jax is irritating as hell! But that’s what we love! Drama. Oh and do we get it!! Would I read it again?!? Yes!! Should you read it? Most definitely! I can not wait for the next book!!! ❤️❤️

Wow, what a finale to this series.
Bella and Jax have a story like no other I have read.
They are both strong and hot headed, but their love is stronger than everything.
The author writes in such a way that it pulls you in so deep, it gives you all the feels and frustrations.
I just loved it, I didn't want it to end and I can't wait to read Chase's story.

Won't be rereading

I was hoping that the characters would evolve at some point but they never really did until the very last chapter. I rolled my eyes through most of the book because Bella was ridiculous the whole book. Also the story line never really developed. It was like there were too many plots that never matured into real stories.
