Devon has seen the trials and tribulations that his closest friends have gone through in their journey to a happily ever after and he is determined not to repeat their mistakes...
Fate has given him the woman meant to be his and there is no one that he is going to let stand in his way, least of all himself.
But Claire is battling her own demons. This isn't the heartbreak her girls have gone through before her, not even close. She is haunted by a nightmarish past that she isn't sure that she will ever outrun. With haunting memories nipping at her heels and a noose tightening around her neck every time her loved ones try to close ranks around her, she is close to conceding defeat and letting her past conquer her once and for all.
When another blow sends Claire into a freefall, she shatters. A ghost of herself. And no one can get through to her.
Keep Her is book three of the Texas Hearts Series by Flora Burgos and should be read after Save Her and Find Her.
Flora Burgos is a USA Today best-selling romance author from the great state of Texas.
She found the escapism of reading at a very tender age, devouring the bodice rippers of yore, long before she'd even dreamed of a first kiss. Her first book boyfriends were swashbuckling pirates and roguish Highlanders who weren't perfect but made up for their brutish behavior with a good grovel and a happily ever after. Reading has always been an essential part of her life, and she loses herself in a good book at every opportunity.
Today, she's a mid-30's romance author and mom to a teen boy and a couple of confused, lazy pit bulls. She annoys her husband as often as she can, and she survives on poor sleep choices, too much caffeine, and too little water.
Flora loves hearing from her readers, hanging out in her reader group (Burgos Book Babes) on Facebook, and making TikToks (@authorfloraburgos) about her pit bulls and books. You can email her at authorfloraburgos@gmail.com, visit www.floraburgos.com, or send her a message on her social media profiles.
I love the Texas Hearts Series. The way this one is written is beautifully heartbreaking in ways and just warms ur heart right back up in others. When you go through trauma like what Claire has for so many years, you can't help but think that you are all alone but just remember there is someone out there just reach out or even just let someone in.
Some of the hardest battles are the Invisible ones. We first met leading lady Claire in book one, Save Her, and she's fighting a silent battle, thinking she has no one to lean to on, but she couldn't have been more wrong. It was amazing watching her find her strength while fitting into the middle of a new (not strictly blood) family with Dev at her side.
