Perfection
Suzanne’s ability to engage and capture a readers attention is incredibly impressive. Not many authors can do that, but she does it effortlessly.
The characters, their stories will stay with you, and will also capture a part of your heart.

Wow.... was waiting (not so patiently) for this book and as expected it was amazing. Questions were answered ..but as we all know more were revealed. Relationships are put under severe stress as HUGE changes hit Bendover. An Identity crisis, jealousy, anger, fear, terror, love, happiness and many many more emotions make their presence known from the very start. This was a biggggg book, that being said I want more, I need more, bring on Spring 2019. Fantastic , amazing read, highly recommended 5*****

Hold on to your hats Justice lovers. Deception is a biggie, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Suzanne Halliday has outdone herself with this one. It is nothing short of amazing with every turn of the page.
Something dark has a cloud of worry hanging over the folks in Bendover and Alex and company are on a mission to protect everything and everyone that is close to them from this sinister threat.
There are so many moments in Deception where I was left laughing, smiling and yes, in tears (Happy ones, I promise!). Every word is written with such feeling and description that you are drawn into the story and never want it to end.
There is so much I want to say, but am afraid to spoil anything for readers of this outstanding book. If you love the previous books in the Justice saga, you will surely not want to miss this one. It does not disappoint in any way.
Readers that are new to Justice are strongly encouraged to start where it all began with Broken Justice, in order to understand the amazing dynamic that is Family Justice. However, it can be read as a stand alone. I will say, if you read this one first, you will most definitely want to go back to see how this amazing group ended up in Bendover, AZ. You will devour every single word.

I've never given a Justice book anything less than 5 stars, but I thought about it this time. After constantly checking online, the arrival of Deception was a perfect holiday gift. The length of the book and storylines are, as usual, great, BUT there are three times that Calder and Alex really let down their wives and it bothered me - a lot. These alpha males, and devoted husbands, should be programed to always put their wives first and that didn't happen. Calder clearly forgot his wife was next to him when an ex appeared, and then never reacted when the ex was dismissive to Stephanie. Alex was actually demeaning to Megan in a situation where she was justifiably upset. Alex also didn't give enough value to Angelina's concern to immediately follow up- which was a big mistake. Small issues? Maybe. But made me feel differently about the characters I like so much.

Absolutely Perfect Read
Absolutely perfect read - your pulled in from the beginning - we get updates on all the people we've come to love - we get a couple of surprises (some of them I've been waiting forever it seems like), we see the Justice Team take out the crazy bad guy, and when you find out how deep it goes your mind will be blown. Looking forward to the next book in this series, for more excitement.

Omfg this book is epic.
Be prepared for laughing, omg moments tears and general feel good moments.
There is a threat looming in Bendover that pulls all the families together.
Think you can mess with Justice think again.
We meet up with the gang and are let into their lives for a good old catch up.
More comes to light about little Bella, but the Justice ladies have her back.
Such a good read. Out of the park.

The much anticipated next installment was certainly worth the wait. This is one BIG detailed book that includes all the well-loved Justice regulars and also introduces a few new faces along the way. Expect laughter, snark, romance, shenanigans, fingernail biting anxiety, sexy times, intrigue, mystery, danger, engagement announcements, wedding plans, and a visit from the Stork! Each beloved Justice family member is struggling in one way or another due to stress and anxiety and must find ways to seek and maintain steady ground while a very real and true threat from an unknown enemy looms ever closer. I can not say enough good things about this book! It will give you all the feels and then some! Deception takes us back to the dessert to see how Family Justice is dealing with an imminent threat and how the threat has tentacles that go well beyond the family. Each member must deal with living a life that is different than the carefree lives they are all wanting. But as life goes on, like a pretty kick-ass Halloween celebration, the threat comes to a head and Family Justice must circle the wagons and protect the family and everything they have worked hard for. Throw in kids, dogs, pregnancies, flirting, laughter, engagements and keeping a small town in Arizona going and you have yourself this fantastic book.
Be warned read this whole series don't start with this book, start with book one knowing the back story and why things are the way they are will only enhance your reading experience. Trust me it's totally worth your time!

This was another eagerly awaited chapter in the Justice saga and I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint one bit. From the minute I started reading it was like going back to old friends. Family Justice has so many nuances the lives of these guys are each different but connected in the most important way. They’re a huge family and family sticks together. This book has lots of little insights into the daily lives of all the couples, watching the growth and progression of their individual units collectively, warms my heart. Without giving any spoilers there a few very emotional scenes in this book but so many wonderful and joyous moments too. Fantastic instalment in our wonderful Justice saga. I cannot wait for the next book. Fabulous book and series I highly recommend not only this one but all Justice books

Suzanne does it again, she has such a unique imagination writing. She pulls you in and you feel like your in the middle of Bendover with your friends, you know what's going on with everyone. They're so many cookie cutter authors and boy is she not one of them

Thin Line!!!
Brody Jensen had a feeling that whatever was happening with his fiancée Heather was going to change their lives in more ways than one.
Sophie Marquez and Jace Delacroix's relationship was growing stronger with each passing day. The way Jace was with Teo was heartwarming.
Domineau's relationship with Rafe D' Alessandro kept flourishing in spite of her fears when it came to his daughter, Molly. The latter wasn't about to let Domineau go, come what may. The bond they had was beautiful.
The St-Johns were extremely happy and in love. So were Lacey and Jason. Everyone within the compound was on edge and some friends found themselves attacking each other. But the bond, respect and love the Family Justice had for one another, the enemy couldn't touch that.
Finn and Remy were taking things slowly, they loved each other but Finn wasn't about to push his beloved. Not after what she went through in the past. Seeing her give a part of herself up another like she did was a delightful treat. Those two compliment each other.
Calder and Stephanie had their ups and downs like any couple but their love helped them through their difficult times. Especially when an old acquaintance of Calder was hellbent on making their lives miserable.
Loved catching up with all the couples and meeting new characters. The Justice ladies were more stronger than they looked.
The Family Justice was facing another crisis, this time the enemy made the mistake of infiltrating the compound. Alex Marquez, Draegyn St-John, Jason Cameron and the rest of the gang were not happy at all. They made it their mission to take care of the threat.
DECEPTION is the ninth book in Suzanne Halliday's FAMILY JUSTICE series. It was sizzling, intriguing, adventurous and fascinating. Marvelous job by Ms Halliday. Two thumbs up!

So much was going on in this one, that I'm glad that the first 3/4's of the book was everyone having fun, celebrating Halloween as only this crew can. The week long extravaganza at Whiskey Pete's was great fun, so many different activities where a different member of the Justice Family could shine. I loved how the ladies showed their odd talents. But the big event was the band show down. I loved how serious all the Desert Thunder guys took it, they were out to win it and brought their A game.
We needed that fun and revelry because things got serious and not in a good way after that. The minor irritation that has been in the background suddenly was front and center, making things known in a way that begged and answer. Getting Alex all worked up is never a good thing and in this case it was about the worst thing possible because Alex and the rest of the Justice crew went scorched earth. It made for some heart wrenching scenes, but the good guys prevailed (as they should).
The last bit of the book was great! Not only was there happy times, reasons to celebrate the nugget that was dropped on Angie and Parker was great, it seemed to bring things full circle for them and their family.
I can't wait to read more, to see all of these happy events that are coming!

Five stars and five hearts! This beautiful addition to the Family Justice saga has been an amazing read. I've loved visiting with all the people we've come to know through these books and seeing the wonderful things happening in their lives. New families have come together, new lives came forth, and the promise more additions were announced. In the midst of all this, there was intrigue and danger all around. Excellent book!

Amazing as always
Suzanne delivers again.. when she left us last time on the terrace with Alex realizing the breach .... if felt like I was holding my breath until this next chapter was released. Justice is my absolute favorite series. This book touches the heart, makes the reader laugh and shed a tear along the way. Wonderful read and so much better than even anticipated. Enjoy!!

Deception is one of the longest books in the Team Justice series and is definitely worth the time spent enjoying it! It covers every family in the Justice crew. There is so much love, family surprises, and a fight for everything they stand for ! This is a book not to be missed!

Best of the greatness
To the people that follow the Justice series, this book is the most intense yet. Family Justice shows and reminds us that family is not only blood but deep intense friendship and companionship. Lots of laughter, some tears and complicated friendships along with babies and the next generation of younglings Justice. Can't wait for the next in the series.

The Justice family is awesome. The bond between the various families is one that cannot be broken. Suzanne Halliday knocked this book out of the park. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I cannot wait for the next installment. Suzanne's writing makes you feel like you are there and living the adventures with the characters. I laughed and cried while reading this book. This series is a must read!!

That's right, suit up people!! Hang on tight for this one will take you on a wild roller-coaster ride! I laughed, I got choked up, I was anxious, thrilled, nervous, and joyful.
In the last book, the word "breach" left us hanging and begging for answers. Well, we get those answers in Deception. Someone with a past that needs to be hidden is targeting the Justice family. While Alex and his brothers-in-arms work to figure out the puzzle of who is behind the threat and why, the Justice family, both immediate and extended, are still up to their antics at Whiskey Pete's. A full week of Spooktacular fun, organized by Finn, had me rolling on the floor. This is a monster of a book. It's long for sure, but trust me, once you start reading you won't want to stop. Every page and every word was necessary to the Justice story. The family is as strong as ever! There are more rings slipped on fingers, new babies, new promises, and all cemented by the unwavering loyalty we've come to know and love. If you haven't read the Justice Brothers Series, and the Family Justice Series, I highly recommend you get going on it!
That's right, suit up people!! Hang on tight for this one will take you on a wild roller-coaster ride! I laughed, I got choked up, I was anxious, thrilled, nervous, and joyful.
In the last book, the word "breach" left us hanging and begging for answers. Well, we get those answers in Deception. Someone with a past that needs to be hidden is targeting the Justice family. While Alex and his brothers-in-arms work to figure out the puzzle of who is behind the threat and why, the Justice family, both immediate and extended, are still up to their antics at Whiskey Pete's. A full week of Spooktacular fun, organized by Finn, had me rolling on the floor. Wow!!!
Mz. Halliday hit yet another one over the wall!! We were just getting caught up on all of the Justice Family antics when the heart and soul of the tribe gets rolled over. No wonder Suzanne was going nuts--the detail and development was exquisite and sewn together beautifully. I am pretty sure this series will go on for several more generations, since Junior Justice is already carving out their niche. Well done and SO worth the wait!

Deception was so full of happiness and emotions that I had to think about what I wanted to say. I laughed, cried, and bit my nails. Suzanne Halliday has the gift of storytelling. She has the ability to weave a magical spell around words and idea to make a magical story! All of the characters get their stories visited, and it is a wild ride. Budding relationships are solidified, and stable relationships are wonderfully challenged. In the end you get a bunch of happily ever afters. There are babies and weddings to be planned. There is a mystery that is solved. (Wow!) There is self worth that is questioned, and relationships are challenged. What more could you need? It is a complex blend that leaves you yearning for more, and you find yourself wanting to move to Bendover and hug someone. If you love a great big novel, I highly recommend this book!

I don't even know where to start! Family Justice is one of the best series I've read. If you want alpha ex-military men, kick-a** funny ladies, laugh out loud hilarious scenarios, uber cute kids, intrigue, gut-wrenching painful life experiences & thrills galore then look no further. Seriously people if you want to get immersed in a world of joy, sexy shenanigans, fall down laughing fun times then look no further. Ms Halliday has the talent & ability to not just draw you into each installment of her Justice series but she makes you care about each & every character. These characters are now like friends & I can't wait to carry on with their journey. Bravo!

Deception brings us back to Family Justice in a time of danger & turmoil as the past comes a calling for our favorite soldiers. In the midst of all the suspense we are masterfully drawn into the lives of our main characters and we're introduced to a few newcomers. This may quite possibly be the best installment of Family Justice yet! It will give you all the feels from the first page to the last. I cried happy tears and sad ones, raged alongside the characters & found solace in the peaceful moments when they happened. This book is a beast - a masterpiece that I'll be reading over & over again just to make sure I don't miss anything! Pick up your copy TODAY! I'll meet you in Bendover...

What can you say about a book that keeps giving more love to. I love this whole series and love the concept that it is a WHOLE story. We get to see Alex and Meg fight for emotions that happen when married. The love for Remy and Finn, this couple will be my undoing. How Steph and Calder handle the past can make you just love them more.
I can go on and on about the way this story unfolded. One can tell you that the inner workings of the Justice families past comes crashing down on them. It can show you how deep this "family" will go to protect and end someone evil. Deception is just another layer to this series and this series is so like a fine wine or whiskey. It gets better with age.
