1997 - The final issue of D+Q Vol 2. After this the series moved into large anthologies instead of being serialized.

Subtitled "A Picture Storybook" but more properly this seems like the Spanish (and European)issue.

Content:
Max - Orpheus (Also the gorgeous wrap around cover and end papers)
A Spanish cartoonist, not sure I know him outside of D+Q anthologies. Well told tale with beautiful line work using 1-color (teal).
Maurice Vellekoop - Waiting (also some artwork)
Just one panel of 4 diferent seasons at a turning circle. Beautfiul work as always
Dupuy & Berberian - A Trip to Lisbon
Another Monsieur Jean strip. I'm sure this has been collected elsewhere.
Jason Lutes - Late Summer Sun
A rare non-Berlin comic from Lutes. A kind of poetic tale of a couple watching the sun setting.
Francisco Torres Linkhart - Tout Va Bien
I don't know this Spanish artist either. This is a sort tribute to Jean-Luc Godard, but I'm mostly unfamiliar with his films.
Miguel Gallardo - Red, Blue, Black
Spanish artist. B+W story
Baru - The Road to America
Later published as a graphic novel

M. Jean would never put a book so special to him that he was going to leave it at a friend's house (in case of robbery or fire) in checked international luggage especially when he carried nothing on the plane- he would be too paranoid about lost luggage AND would've reminisced upon it! DupBerb just had to force it to suit their story.

Lutes loves drawing thick girls who aren't fat.
