So much action! So much worldbuilding! I'm blown away by the author's extensive knowledge and research on plant life, biology, etc. The Vens are a fearsome alien lifeform, seemingly merciless, but I can't help but wonder what the author has planned. The foreshadowing is keeping me hooked! Can't wait for book 3!
