Play Date is a fun contemporary romance by EmKay Connor. Ms. Connor has given readers a well-written book populated with lovable characters. Keene has his eye on his PA but manages to stay away because great assistants are hard to find. Sabrina decides it's time to move things along so she schedules them for a play date out of town and Keene believes he's going to a team building retreat. Sabrina and Keene's story is packed with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading this book. Play Date is book 10 of the After Five; Single on Valentine's Day Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Keane and Sabrina make a perfect work team. Their story could be more but work gets in the way. They are each driven and strong . They are each ambitious. We get a backstory for Keane but nothing for Sabrina. We do get her two besties who are.fun and supportive. This cute fast paced story has steam but no fire, no burn. It is a sweet one hour slow burn read.

This is a short,fast paced story with an entertaining romance. I enjoyed the characters and story line but wish the story had been a bit longer and more in depth with the characters. That said ,it's well written with and is an enjoyable quickie read.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by EmKay Connor; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Keene and Sabrina have amazing chemistry and they have kept their relationship professional until Sabrina decides it's time to play. I thought it was fun what she planned and it showed their chemistry outside the workplace. I would have loved to see them in the future more however.
