WOW!! This was such a good book. I read it in one day. I just couldn't put it down. Heather Rose is a new author to me. And look forward to reading more of her work. How your past can threaten your future. I loved it.

When I started this book I THOUGHT I had it pegged from the beginning. 10 year old Piper, who is a product of divorce, moves to town and gets befriended by social butterfly, Kenzie, who has a protective older brother, Mychal, who she is very close with
Flash forward about 13 years, and they are not only the best of friends they are also now roommates. It is also revealed on a night out at the club for Kenzie's birthday that Piper has been harboring a serious crush on Mychal for all these years and to her surprise ladies man, Mychal, feels the same way about Piper! It dawned on me "Always yours" described Piper's feelings toward Mychal and this was a best friends brother romance.
Until I got halfway through...then the title took on a whole new meaning and the story took me on a wild ride of steamy sex, a disturbed admirer who has been in the picture for years unbeknownst to the siblings, to an abduction at gunpoint, to a happily ever after that even includes a baby!
This book put me on a roller coaster ride of emotions that gave me butterflies one second and that anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach the next!
This "thriller romance" had everything a good story should. Heather Nicole Rose left no stone unturned for her debut novel.
She had strong, relatable and flawed characters you can't help but root for and sympathsize with, with a chemistry that jumped right off the pages! I literally could not put it down and I look forward to the next one!
It's a HEA that took years in the making!

I won a copy in an author takeover. From a relatively new author (I think this was her first book), I was expecting a lot more mistakes.
The story was sweet but maybe a little too much love so quickly. Not necessarily insta love. But close. A little drama added in along the way. Maybe a missed opportunity with a good prologue featuring characters years earlier so we could set the story a little better. It was a bit much at times with how excessive some of the happenings were. There was unnecessary romantic interludes that didn’t really fit in with the story. Character development was good. But not strong.
In time, with more developed writing skills, this author has potential!

I really enjoyed this book. I found myself consumed by this story. I had no idea what was happening around me. A sweet hea love story that took years to unfold.
It brings you through all the emotions. Anxiety, angst, anger, love, sadness, happiness. It's a fabulous rollercoaster that I didn't want to end.
I look forward to more of her work

It could’ve used some editing
There were some editing issues and I feel that the story was rushed at times, but it had potential and wasn’t a horrible read.

Beautifully written, wonderfully told. This story is down to earth relatable which connects you to these characters on a deeper level. The romance blended with the drama and suspense keeps us readers on our toes throughout the entire book. I hope to see more from this author in the future.
