*This is a sweet, romance comedy and a short work of fiction.*
4.5 Fallon deserved some happiness in her life after dealing with Ellis & his unnecessary drama. Nate was the right man for her. Storyline held my interest. Good holiday read.
Let me just say that this was my first Sam J. book and I enjoyed it.
It was hard to see Fallon so completely gone and drained like she was unwilling to let go and I just couldn't believe she was doing all that for Ellis' triflin butt because baybeeeeeee the Miami in me came out a few times while reading lol
Needless to say the ending was life! I wanted a lil more, but I understand that it's a novelette.
I loved Fallon! She did everything in her power to keep her family together. Her husband Ellis was a complete jerk. He deserves everything that happens to him. I loved how the family stuck up for Fallon when Ellis tried his mess. I'm just glad Fallon finally realized Ellis wasn't worth the drama. I liked Nate. He is who Fallon should have been with all along. I'm happy for them. Loved this story Sam!
A beautiful well written story of getting a second chance at being in love with someone from your past. I really enjoyed this book. Fallon was betrayed in the worst way possible but with the help of her family and friend she was able to have a fresh start with Nate. Would love to read more about Fallon and Nate.
This was my first time reading from this author but it won't be my last, I enjoyed it, understood it and I'm looking forward to reading more novels Fallon has gone through what many of women go through but honey when Arian, Miriam, Mama and Heather came through I was all for it babay I laughed and laughed .
So I found out about you through fb, well actually you found me. So glad I was able to read this book. I will most definitely be reading other books by you. I know this was just something short, a lil teaser. My good I would love to read more!! I would love to know what is going to happen with Nate and Fallon. This was everything and I really enjoyed it.
Nice quick read. Fallon couldn't get over the fact that her husband left her for much younger woman, but Nate may be the guy to help her get over Ellis. That fight was so funny. Very detailed for a short story.
I really enjoyed this story. I will admit that Fallon worked my nerves in the beginning. I wasn't expecting it to end so abruptly and I'm hoping there will be more to Fallon and Nate's story.
This is my first book by this author, good novella. That Ellis was total trash, I just wish I could have read that Fallon got to stick it to him in the divorce settlement, lol!
Once again Sam did it with this holiday novella. Even though it’s a short story it was entertaining. New Love concurred in the end hopefully we get more of their story soon Great job once again Sam J.
Okay this was a nice quick read. Fallon has to deal with a cheating husband who dumps her. The Thanksgiving family fight was hilarious. Kinda wish we got to see where her and Nate's relationship went.
I enjoyed reading this book, but would like to read more about Fallon and Nate’s budding relationship. Ellis was wrong for showing up at her family’s house the way that he did, but I know that he wished that he had put more thought into that trip.
Really enjoyed this. I need to know what's going on with the couple. Ellis was so wrong and it seems like the family really got to get in good with heather there sister in law. Keep up the great work
Emotional, but realistic life journey. All I can say is Frankie and Heather gave me life. They showed a side of themselves that gave me life. But this story is about Fallon coming to terms with the changes of her life..
Thanks , Sam J. ,for this book. This was a great holiday gift for your fans. I would love to see where Fallon and Nate ,continue. The sisters are my people. I was rolling when they jumped Ellis. 😊 Crazy about this book, want more.
I didn’t want this story to end . I loved Nate’s perspective on marriage & how in the heat of the moment her mother stood outside herself to protect her baby . Love it Love it LOVE IT !
This story was way too good to be a short story!! I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I want to see it all the way through. But still a great funny, realistic and romantic story.
"One man trash is another man's treasure." Fallon moves on. After a failed marriage, Fallon works on herself. But will true love find her instead? A very liberating read for me. I was cheering Fallon on.
Her husband was an asshole who needed his butt whipped by her brothers. Nate was right another man trash is another's treasure and i hope he full fills that for her to start over with someone who looked for her instead of the other way around.
This was a great read unlike the other typical romance storylines out there that are all the same. Definitely held my interest, I need more of Nate and Falon. Her writing is refreshing
This was a pretty good book for my first from this author. I plan on reading the one from the snippet as well. I can’t wait to see what else she has in her back pocket.
I know that I posted a review on this but can not seem to find it. Interesting. Anywho, this was the second book of hers that I have tried to read. I did not complete the other but I did complete this one. I was not impressed. She does a current beginning and then the rest of the books is how we got there. This one had potential but ended abruptly and I felt as if it was lacking so much. I didnt feel the characters connected. The main character came off as bitter as well. There was no build up to the budding romance. It was just blah for me. If I had to choose then I would read Christina C. Jones or Alexandria House first.

Fallon seemed desperate at times. She listened to others and ended up with a buster. Ellis was the worst. But I hate when women try to keep fathers out of the kids lives to spite the him and I feel that’s what she did re thanksgiving. Chris came in and saved her heart but the development wasn’t there to their love. At least I wasn’t sold on it. I’m giving it a 3 be potential was there usually a book would be rated lower if it lacked certain elements but it has so much potential so giving it lower didn’t seem right
