Join Thea Stilton and the Thea Sisters on an adventure packed with mystery and friendship!
The Thea Sisters are invited to the Festival of Time in Germany! They arrive in the Black Forest and find that a famouse clock has been stolen. The mouselets are on the case. Can they find the thief and return the clock before time runs out?
A look into my past book preferences. These books have shaped me kn such a strange way, tbh I wouldn't be where I am academically without the Thea Sisters.
“When you have a passion, nothing is too complicated,” Hans replied.

I still don’t get when, where, or how Pam first met Hans. Did they meet and attend an event in Germany or international activities related to Mouseford Academy, etc.?
The bond between the apprentice and his master is quite difficult and an awkward one. But in the end, everything’s resolved.
Also, the cuckoo clocks looked so good in illustration.
One of the best ones in a while! The friends just seemed closer and I found this one to be a lot more educational. My favorite part was the cuckoo clocks. They were so pretty, now I want to go to the Black Forest!

From Grab & Go bag children’s books collection (3/5) of Toronto Public Library – started reading this book without much expectation, but I ended up having fun and learning few nice facts about the Black Forest region and of course, black forest cake too!
Five friends (who are called Thea sisters) set out to Black Forest to attend cuckoo clock carnival end up (having adventure fun trip and) solving a mystery for their new friend Hans. Though it is short and predictable story – the gems of moral for kids related to friendship, perseverance, stealing (and realizing the mistake), being sincerely apologetic, and of course, enjoy what you do – are nice. But the one of the reasons why I ended up liking this book was it was educational (for me) with facts related to Black Forest region.
- Freiburg airport is an tri-national airport – built by Switzerland on French territory and provides services to the town of Freiburg, Germany - Freiburg is called the Sunny city - Sonnenstrahl (in German) means ray of sun - Bachle (meaning narrow canals – that run along the edge of the steets) is a famous landmark in Freiburg - Freiburg’s Cathedral took 350 years to build! It’s apparently that huge - World’s largest cuckoo clock (14 feet and 330 pounds) is in Triberg-schonach and people could walk inside it! - Villingen – house of first watch factory (1858) - Black forest cake –other than the similarity of the name (though it is not reason it is called so), it was created in the Black Forest around 1930. Was really fun to read the inspiration for the cake – the inspiration was the traditional black costume the local ladies wear – black and white blouse and headdress with red pompoms (i.e., red cherries in the cake) - Friedrichsbad Roman Irish (thermal) baths were built in 1877 - Also, I did not know that Black Forest was inspiration for many fairy tales! Another destination added to the bucket list – Black forest area and surroundings – Freiburg, Triberg, Schonach!
I did not quite like the words converted as mouse language such as “Hol(e)y Cheese”, “famouse”, and “pawsteps” etc. It reminded me of Roald Dahl and no one can replace his style of being creative with words! Nonetheless, a fun read!
Thea Stilton was what got me into reading in the first place. I have 16 Thea Stilton books. And i loved them all. I still love them, but i don't enjoy them as much as i used to. Because as i grow older, my interest in Young Adult Fantasy grows too. And i've been reading books by Leigh Bardugo or Victoria Aveyard. I think Thea Stilton will forever be my childhood favorite book. I love Paulina and Will, they're perfect for each other <3 (also i've read more than 16 books but i only have 16 of them in physical copies, the others i read in a library) (I apologize if there were misspellings or incorrect grammar, English isn't my first language and I am still learning something new everyday, so please tolerate me if there were mistakes)
While on holiday in the Black Forest, The Thea Sisters find themselves involved in a mystery , and search for a stolen and important piece of a cuckoo clock. If the piece isn't found, the entire Cuckoo Clock Carnival will be ruined. Together, Colette, Violet, Pamela, Nicky, and Paulina and with help from some new friends, they solve the mystery, and enjoy all the stops in between searching and following up on clues.
When I found out who the burglar was it completely made sense. I borrowed this book on sora. You should really read this book because it is a mystery book and I love these types of books. These books are from the Thea Stilton series. Vidyuth read Geronimo Stilton. Fun Fact: Thea Stilton is Geronimo's sister😃
The illustrations never disappoint, but the plot was somewhat lackluster (maybe it’s because clockmakers kinda scare me idk). The ending was heartwarming though, so that’s a plus. Aaanyways I’m giving all Thea Stilton books 2 stars regardless because she has the AUDACITY to NEVER show up in her own books. *eye roll*
read purely because of nostalgia and boredom. the plot as expected was a classic follow the clues plot but allowed readers to learn more about germany and the historical/ cultural importance of the black forest. incredibly wholesome book that shows the themes of friendship, communication, and diversity. now i feel more educated on clocks lol
I love it 😭🥺🥺🥺the places shown in the book we’re perfect. Not only that but the story about the cuckoo clocks 🕰 were just on the spot. I learned about some customs of Germany, it is a great book🥺🤩🤩🤩🥰☃️☃️☃️❄️❄️❄️☃️🌬❄️☃️❄️⛄️⛄️
This book was such a fun and cozy read! Show the true meaning of working together and having forgiveness for people you haven’t forgiven yet! Loved the pictures and the art in this book omg! Thea Stilton always amazes me!!
A very mysterious book to read for some relaxation! A cukkoo clock's part gets stolen, and the Thea Sisters step on a mysterious and magical adventure to find the missing part.✨
It’s okaaaaaaay, I don’t really love it. Compared to the other Thea Stilton books it was pretty bad tho.🙁 It has a good ending but the rest was pretty sleepy 😴
