This series of books is awesome and off the charts

I've read this in 3 days it interesting I didn't figure it out it kept me interested in the same time I couldn't figure out the plot

First three books were much better

I did not like where the story went with books 4-7. The characters became boring, predictable and sappy. MC became annoying and whiny. The main villain seemed somewhat dumb because being who he was- the “end of the world” event could of and should have happened a lot sooner than it. I also don’t think the books answered all the plot line questions that were raised which is a pet peeve of mine in books like this. A number of characters were just forgotten at the end. Maybe their fates get covered in the spin off series but that is just a crappy marketing ploy for future books by this author. Mixed on if I will read other books by this author or a part of the character base started in this series.

this series started amazing and then just flopped

I loved the first 3 books but this second bundle was really hard to finish.
The love scenes kind of lost their connection and I almost stopped in the last book.
It was just okay.

Oh WOW!!! I was pulled in from the beginning! Fabulous paranormal/fantasy world, I absolutely love this series of books, the action starts slowly and builds, The characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters early in the series which develop wonderfully as each book progresses. Very well written storey. There are no cliff hangers as such but each book always leaves you wanting more so be warned though once you start reading this series you won’t be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading.

Epic!

Wow! What a second chapter to the story of The Four Horsemen and Truth! Who saw what was happening with Seth?? Who had a clue?
Allied with their arch nemesis to do battle with Chaos, things turn sour in a heartbeat. Forced to leave England, they headed to sunny California. The land of too many surprises.
I won’t say more because I don’t want to ruin the ending. I’ll just say this, the ending is a fitting war to this story. You’re going to love it!!

Ugh! It ended, but I need more!

The only thing I disliked about this book, it ended the story I had immersed myself in for the last few days. I loved the books with their wonderful diverse characters! I was jealous of Vee, with her four men. She will never be bored. I’m ready to explore other books written by this author.

needs editing

Good ending to the series. But seriously, this book needs editing. There are missed words on just about every page. I believe I spent so much time rereading sentences to figure out what the author was trying to say that it took enjoyment out of the story. I don’t remember the first volume being this bad. Was there a hurry to get the books out?

Ms. Swallow created lots of twists and turns that kept you on the edge of your seat.

Loved it

This series was great. Loved that both boxed sets were on KU. In this story, we meet a completely different set of the Four Horsemen (without horses) and their fifth, Truth, or Verity (Vee). More secrets and troubles come their way, but love triumphs in the end!!

The Four Horseman 4-7

Box set 2 of the Four Horsemen series was an interesting take on stopping an apocalypse. The reveal of Vee’s true identity and purpose is a nice plot twist. I’m looking forward to reading more stories in this universe!

Not bad, but a bit OTT emotionally. The guys' emotional growth was a bit hit or miss, and they started losing their diistinctiveness. It held my attention mostly, but I gave up a little way into the last book. There are better uses of my time.

If you're a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and The Originals, then this book series is for you. Some of the names and themes are situations are completely
obvious from these shows. Is it an homage or lack of originality on part of the author? Some of it is off the nose and it's like "Really?"

Really enjoyed this series

It's weird, but I really liked Seth as chaos. He was what I would term violently amusing.
Sometimes the dynamics between the four horsemen and Vee felt off, but I guess that's their nature.
I did enjoy the story, it was fast paced and entertaining.

DNF....the ineffectiveness of the Horsemen and Verity are so apparent. At this point, the main story line is the sex and the other plot lines are extremely weak. I need better writing with my smut.
