My Story, Your Story, Jesus’ Story.
I believe our stories play a major role in the forming of our identity and it is through our identity that we live our lives. For me, my complicated and unique health problems played a major, pivotal role in forming my identity and had a huge effect on how I lived my life. It wasn’t until I encountered Jesus that I learned that my story did not have to define or dictate how I lived my life.
The book, Beautifully Simple, is split into three the first part of the book explores my story... the good, the bad and the ugly in revealing how Jesus redefined who I was, and truly changed the trajectory of my life. The second part of the book asks you to reflect on your own story and how it has played a role in the forming of your identity. The final part of the book investigates who Jesus of Nazareth was, in hopes of discovering who Jesus truly is. This section of the book is really driven by two Why was Jesus of Nazareth killed? Why did Jesus of Nazareth choose to die? Ultimately, I believe every human has a story that has been designed to be connected through one greater story, Jesus’.
