As his muscular, submissive boys grow more confident, Dare couldn’t be more proud of them. Each step they take brings them all closer together and gives Dare glimpses of the family they’ll become. They just have a few hurdles to get over first, like the fact that his boys need to move and that they aren’t exactly forthcoming with what they want from a Dom or a boyfriend. Dare isn’t worried, though. He’s seen the way they look at him and each other. That much love and tenderness means nothing can stand in their way.

Scott and Ryan know that relying on Dare to give them the push they need might not be the best idea, but they can’t help looking at him for guidance as they figure out what submission means to them. As their Dom, he’s the natural person to lead them through the start of their new relationship, but they both know eventually they’ll have to start opening up and letting their Dom know exactly what they want…his love and domination.

So freaking good!

Ahhhh!!! I need more. I am loving these guys. Seeing Ryan and Scott start to open up is so beautiful. Dare is perfect for them and makes it complete. I love how none of these guys are typical. Ryan and Scott need to get out of that apartment though. I am worried about them all but Dare most of all. If something happens to him, the boys will be devastated.

This feels unfinished. I have no idea if there is a third book coming, but it’s too unresolved for my tastes as it stands. I liked that the relationship has progressed, but they still have a lot of trouble communicating.

Ugh. This author needs to realize there are more adjectives in the world than cute, silly, funny, crazy, and, the one that is most bothersome, insane. I almost stopped reading this one because I couldn't take it anymore. As it is I just skimmed the dialogue from about sixty percent on and skipped everything else because I like the characters, but I am going to have to stop reading the books altogether if this doesn't change. It won't be awful if I do stop reading them at best they are three star books. I'm not sure why I keep reading them other than they are on KU so they feel free.

Fluffy. So freaking fluffy. Is it actually to the point where I find novels where characters behave like reasonable adults as 'too sweet'? Apparently. Anyway. This was good - fairly hot, sweet, etc. Just didn't grab me. I think I am going to let this series go.

Such a frustrating book! I wanted to yell at them to hurry up. Everything happened slow as molasses.

3.5 Stars.... The story picks up from the first book "Us" and must read in order. The funny banter continues between Ryan and Scott since they were best friends before becoming lovers with Dare. I would have loved to know their ages in this to know the dynamics. I loved Scott and Ryan's connection. Dare didn't grow on me as much as in the first book.  A slow storyline combined with the first book but they get there.

Ryan and Scott with Dare (Darren) were dating. The MMM relationship was still in the early stages, much like the first book and slowly setting of rules and boundaries was still on the tables for discussion

Love continues the story of Dare, Scott and Ryan. Dare is helping the guys push and expand their boundaries.

"Even if Ryan had managed to hide the curiosity in his voice better, the thin sweatpants he was wearing wouldn't have hidden his arousal.
Not that I was deliberately looking at his dick. It was just... noticeable."

"Is it ridiculous that I think it would be easier if Dare just made the decision and said we would go?"
Ridiculous? No.
Easier? Yes.
"No. I think that's kind of what having Dom is for. To make the hard decisions."
And to read your mind so you didn't have to ask for things like spankings and being tied to the bed.

Ryan and Scott also finding their way with each other..

"I just wasn't sure where it was going. not that I was planning on asking him. We were still in the awkward phase of a relationship where we were trying to work everything out."

"if we're all going to sleep in the same bed one of us is going to need to get a king size."
"Or orgy size. Neither of us is exactly small, and Dare looks like he could be a wiggler when he sleeps."

These men are so perfect for each other. It was beautiful to watch them grow and love together.

"I'd be able to tell them how I felt eventually. When we had something this perfect, there wasn't a rush. Perfection wasn't going anywhere."
Awww...

Things do get interesting as they try to figure out how to explain their relationship to others.
"Um, we're all dating each other... like all three of us as a couple."
"Are you involved in a cult?"
Lol.

Overall another amazing story from this author. The sweet and sexy journey of three men as they grow more comfortable with themselves and each other as their relationship grows.
I look forward to more of these guys!!

There wasn't a lot of plot in this. They dated? And decided to move. Parents were told about the relationship but there nothing came from it at all. And thought about love but didn't say it. Yes, they got more comfortable in their relationship with each other, but beyond that nothing. It's been a long time since I read the first and I can't remember if the two subs seemed so interchangeable in that story but I felt they were in this one. They sounded completely the same to me.

Not a standalone - you must read book 1 first.
The continuation of these three men's story is even steamier than book 1 and seeing Ryan and Scott grow in their submission is simply beautiful. A few giggles along the way make this a fun read as well - very enjoyable.

This is the second book in The Weight Of A Word series.
Scott and Ryan have been friends and roommates since College.
They are both big and strong sportsmen, who blindly followed each other everywhere,
without realising the strength of their feelings for each other.
It would take someone extraordinary to make the guys see what's been in front of them.

Dare is a unique man, he may look young and slight, but with his need for control
and his attraction to big built subs makes him a perfect match.
All it took was one glance and Dare could read Scott and Ryan like a book.

They were both subs, who needed instruction, and rules.
They needed a master, who came in the shape of Dare.

In time Dare forces the boys to connect, he tells them to communicate.
He makes them touch each other and analyze their feelings.
As they open up to the possibilities of being together, the chemistry
between them becomes explosive.
Dare is a good Dom, and realises what his cute shy boys could never say.
So he instructs and manipulates them , letting them live out their fantasies.

There is so much humour in this story, the way Dare shocks the boys constantly
that leaves them unable to put two words together is priceless.
Like a baby they need so much cajoling and prompting , then there's all the teasing too.
The more time Dare spends with his boys, changing all of their lives ,
the deeper their feelings run for each other. They are becoming a happy family unit.

This is such a refreshing and captivating story , one that l really enjoyed.
l can't wait to see what else Dare will make Scott and Ryan accept and enjoy.

There are times I want my reading choice to be sweet, sexy, and straight-forward, with no hidden agendas or past transgressions waiting to jump out and derail the romance. Those are the times I go to this author, who never disappoints.
This series is so much fun! I love the big muscular submissives, Scott and Ryan, and I appreciate seeing the differences in their submission. I also adore Dare, their cute and compact dom. Book two is a continuation of the growing relationship between the three men; and it hints at what the future might look like, as they slowly begin to open up to others. All three men are the kind of people I'd love to have as friends, and they are adorable together - even during their super steamy sexy times. No one can show how sweet kink can be quite like this author, and I can't wait to see where she takes these guys next.

Very Sweet

I was so excited to read this after the first book Us. I mean who doesn't love a twinky Dom? Dare is super sweet but at the same time commanding and he is definitely what submissives Scott and Ryan need. Since the first book Scott and Ryan have definitely come a long way but it's time to make some changes and Dare knows just how to help them. Super steamy with zero angst, Love is a great read! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Loving this series

I love these 3 guys and watching their relationship and communication grow. I love watching Ryan and Scott getting bolder and opening up with Dare's guidance.. Honestly I think one of my favorite chapters was with Ryan and his parents, especially his dad, I could literally picture the talk... so complicated and awkward.. it was so beautiful how it all played out.

A good continuation

Well, I think I had higher expectations for this. I really like these characters, and I'm glad we got to know more about them, but there was like almost no BDSM. Some of it felt like filler and I was really hoping they would progress more in their relationship by the end of this one. I would probably read the next one though because it's not bad or anything. No typos, heya!

The author has written another fantastic, sweet, engaging, charming, poignant, wonderful, and smoking hot hit. I absolutely loved watching Dare, Scott, and Ryan as they learned more about each other, and their relationships grew deeper and deeper. I can't wait to get my greedy hands on the next book in this marvelous series.

The follow up to book 1 was not quite what I was expecting. I actually liked book 1 better than this one. It is very slow moving and way too short. I enjoyed seeing Scott and Ryan's relationship move forward and moving out of the apartment into a house was huge. But, I really wanted more and maybe I'm being too impatient. That said, bring on the next book!

Oh my

I love this author. But at the same time they have a tendency to leave you guessing about the happily ever after. Maybe I'm to used to every story ending with an epilogue. I just like knowing the guys you get to know are. Happy and still together. I love the characters they aren't the norm and I genuinely enjoy that.

Just as good as the first one! Better because there was plot! Though the smut is hot and beautiful, i loved seeing them furthering their relationships too. From finding a new place to live, to Ryan telling his parents. We still haven’t met Dare’s parents tho so i’m still hoping for that and hope there will be a third book! Fingers crossed.

Amazing follow up

I am in love with three guys. Well four if you include my husband. The three men in this book are so alive in my head right now and I think that is indicative of how well they are written. Everything in this book is spot on. The characters, plot, sex scenes, pacing, all of the things that make a book great. I love them and I love the series.

I'm not sure this even counts as a story. It is a series of scenes involving the same characters, but there is no rising action, no climax, no falling action, and no conclusion. The characters "just do things". Then the "story" just suddenly stops without explanation or even having accomplished something. OTOH, the grammar and spelling are decent.

Very sweet

This book is a very sweet continuation of the Weight of a Word series. Ryan, Scott and Dare are still growing into their relationship. I love Dare! He is such a great Dom to both of his boys. Very light kink, super sweet heat, great MCs!

It’s never enough

This story now spans two books and by the ending it looks like a 3rd is coming. This isn’t exactly slow burn because there is plenty of sexy times, but it’s slow moving. Hopefully we’ll get more of an HEA next book I’d call this a HFN.

So amazing! I love how Dare is concerned that both Ryan and Scott understand their relationship with each other, not just their relationship with him. Can't wait to see what happens when they move out of that crappy apartment in the scary neighborhood...please keep writing Shaw!!!
