Pain Killers

Rate this book
No one is born a killer. A baby doesn’t enter into the world with a killer’s instinct or a thirst for blood. Something happens in one's life that creates the canvas that a killer’s mind is built upon. We often focus on what a person has done rather than questioning the motive or the reason. There is no justification for murder. There is never a good enough excuse to deliberately take a person’s life. Hurt people will often hurt others and the person committing the crime can often be a victim of the same offense. The short stories you will read are written from many different perspectives and are all pieces of a bigger story. There will be stories of friendship, love, pain, addiction, revenge, regret and forgiveness. The first story begins with the murder of a 17-year-old boy with a promising future. Who killed the kid? Why was he murdered? There is never a good reason for crime, but there is always a reason. Prison is not only occupied by criminals. There are many innocent men and women who live their lives behind prison walls just for being at the wrong place and at the wrong time. One wrong choice can alter one's life forever.
