Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.

With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.

Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.

The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

CAP DANIELS GETS BETTER AND BETTER

The highest praise any author could get, in my opinion, is that he, or she, wrings forth the whole gamut of a reader’s emotions....from laughter to tears, and everything in between....this IS Cap Daniels. And this IS what this book in particular has done. At the end, I actually found my heart pounding a little faster than normal as I do when getting off a roller coaster ride. Good work, Cap Daniels.

Book Review - When the Chinese Ministry of State Security unleashes a bold plan to sink a massive U.S. freighter in the Panama Canal as part of an elaborate intelligence-gathering operation, American covert operative, Chase Fulton, is called upon to infiltrate the operation and turn the tides against the Chinese conspirators. “The Unending Chase,” Book 4 of the Chase Fulton series turned out to be another thrilling Cap Daniels action thriller read. It was an action adventure story with plenty of twists and turns with sufficient political and military intertwining. This Cap Daniels series is adventurous, daring, and full of espionage intrigue that keeps the reader engaged, excited, and enthralled. Each story in the series keeps me wanting more and Daniels keeps the excitement meter running with plenty of books in the series (15 to date) If there was such a thing as an “excitement meter,” author Cap Daniels would probably own the patent to it because it’s amazing how he incorporates so much thrill and excitement in all the novels that I have read so far. Another thrilling read by a talented and clever author.

I can't stop reading once I start and stay up at night too late! I think Cap overdoes what a beating Chase can take and still goes on the next day almost. His teaming of Clark and Chase creates a great picture of two very compatible heroes. I have spent a great amount of time in St Augustine and all the places he has mentioned I have seen and been to and his descriptions are right on, the bridge, the fort and the Columbia Restaurant. I will begin book #5 tonight!!

Men of honor

I really like Daniels' attention to detail! Case in point: they let the engines cool before putting on the camo cover. He makes the characters really interesting and all the descripetives, especially the technical ones about sailing or flying are spot on. Quote I liked: “When evil calls, men of honor not only stand to face it, but they rise above it and beat it into whimpering submission,”

The unending Chase

Rather a different scheme by the Chinese and even more confusing in its opposition. I don't understand where 911 fits into the story unless to date it. Still interesting read and Will read more.

Must be based on real people

The accuracy of characters and plot is so believable that this reader is convinced it was based on true life experiences either by the author of someone who shared their life story.

I can hardly wait for the next book

As always, Cap Daniels narrative keeps you at the edge of your seat and looking forward to the next book. It reminds me of the 1960’s when James Bond was our hero spy and Ian Fleming keep us in suspense until the next novel.

And the story goes on

Each one of the Chase Fulton books is really a "stand alone" book, but they are much better if you read them in order as they were written.

These books are just so good, that you don't want to stop reading. Thankfully, the next one is the series is there for me to read.

Chase Fulton is living a different life then he thought he would be. After this parents and sister were killed, Chase was entered into a Military School and was really good in baseball. He was an extraordinary catcher and was just ready to go to the big leagues. But, life happens and Chase was injured in a play on the field, and his baseball career was over.

Now Chase lives his life in secret military operations all over the world. In this first adventure, it turned him into a millionaire and he could quit and just sail on his ship and enjoy life, but he continues to run operations for the government. This time he teams up with Clark and they have to go to the Panama Canal and on a mission to keep the conspirators from blowing up the bridges.

If you know Chase and Clark, they find themselves into more trouble. You don't want to miss this one! A really thrill a minute novel!

WARNING: THIS MAY BE A SPOILER (sort of). Breakout the box of tissue.

Having now read this fourth book in a series of thirty-three books through 2025; Mr. Daniels knows how to keep the story flowing. So far, he has had each of the following books start off where the previous book ends. I really like his writing style, especially when he mentions the likes of Waffle House and a Cessna 210 aircraft in his previous book (#3). That hit home personally.

This story takes place in the Panama Canal area. Reading this came at a great time having just gone through the Canal Zone. It's interesting to read about things you have seen. The action was good, and the characters are ones you care for (the good guys).

If you get a chance, read this one. But do yourself a favor and read the first three first.

Interesting but a bit over the top

I was following along and enjoying the story till the part when the Chinese villains plot came up. I've worked on projects in Panama and Costa Rica and it's clear that since we have away the Panama Canal (highly stupid move on our part) the Chinese business interests have taken over both ends of the canal. China throughs lots of money around and owns a lot of government officials. They don't mind the poverty. The premise of the last half of the book is implausible. But I suspended my disbelief and enjoyed it anyway. Generally good fast read.

I just be prescient

I reviews the box set of volumes 1-3 yesterday and remember saying that Daniels needed to !I've beyond the Russians as enemies, and here we have not only the Chinese, but the events of 9/11.

As I said, Daniels has created a fine working protagonist in Chase Fuller, but he's surrounded him with a nifty cast of characters, tossed in some foxhole humor, managed to skillfully recap the past and then throw in some novel adventures in the edge of credulity.

Along the way he:s managed to tip his writer's cap to another author who writes in a similar genre. Captain Stinnett appears for a few pages. No accident.

Okay, on to the next volume!

Books continue to increase in tension

These are good books. Not sure why they are Kindle Unlimited.
In this book one of the main protagonist dies, Chase and Clark pull off an incredible intelligence coup. We meet one of the world’s best helicopter pilots and 9/11 happens.
Ana may or may not be dead. Chase discovers that he loves another.
People get shot, beaten up and blown up. Can’t wait to see where we go from here. Not just a good book. Is great book as Anna would say. I wonder where in the hell she is.
YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK. YOU SHOULD READ THIS SERIES.
Now for book 5.

Great read, exciting action

Who would ever think that the Panama Canal could be bombed? And Chase, Clark and and a veteran Vietnam helo pilot could pull off, with help from a spirited covert operator would get critical data from the Chinese. Chase learns the truth of his family's murders and loses the only father figure he's ever known. Not to mention " Captain Stinnett" (hello Wayne) helps save their lives. I've loved every book so far and will be reading each one.

Parts are great other parts get slow

I really enjoy the action parts especially the Chase and Clark relationship. The romantic part though slows the story down it’s like reading 2 books. Overall though I enjoy the books it’s a good story with fun character. Ultimately I skim through the romance to the action.

Chase meets the Devil and survives a Chinese bombing

Another 5 stars for plot complexity, pace and well developed new characters to match the previous books. The two new Caribbean sea dogs that join the fight against terrorism at the Panama Canal are characters that you'll like.

Another exciting sea and air adventure by Cap Daniels featuring Chase and Clark at their best trying to prevent the Chinese from trying to destroy the Panama Canal. Chase’s family’s death is revealed. Thoughts of Anya still show up and a fascinating new character; Diablo de Agua adds so much to the story. On to The Distant Chase.

A great story that had me captured from the beginning. A great writer that knows how to keep the reader riveted to turning pages. It’s been too long since I read the pre work, but the characters came back to me as well as their background. This story goes strong even through the last chapter. Enjoyed it. 5
