Holly Hood is a prolific romance author who specializes in crafting stories filled with dysfunctional characters, layered drama, and small-town secrets. From paranormal romance to dark mystery suspense, her work fearlessly explores love triangles, supernatural connections, and the complex dynamics of family drama.
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and now residing in Sylvania, Holly began writing as a child to navigate a difficult home life. What started as an emotional outlet through diaries, journals, and play scripts evolved into a passion for storytelling that allows readers to experience raw emotions that might make them "want to punch someone in the face or cry."
With nearly 30 published books to her name, Holly has captivated readers with popular titles including The Ink series, Run, Anonymous, Perfectly Hopeless, Sad Pancakes, Castles, Neighbor, and Even Wilder. Her writing stands out for its unexpected twists, touches of humor and sarcasm, and refreshingly non-traditional endings—she's not afraid to kill a character when the story demands it.
When not writing, Holly embraces her creative spirit through various art forms including drawing, clay work, crochet, painting, and 3D printing. She also enjoys cooking, baking, reality television, and music.
Holly's newest project, The Serpent Series, launches with "When Serpent Sleeps," available on Amazon. Connect with her on TikTok @readhollyhood or Facebook @authorhollyhood to follow her writing journey.

Out of the four of these books, I loved number 1 and number 4 best. Hope faces a massive dilemma in this instalment, evil is everywhere and when the unthinkable happens Hope and Slade do something that only makes things worse and threatens the safety of those they love. Will they triumph over the dark forces?

What a roller coaster of emotion, I felt drained by the time I put the final book down. I'm glad I read the 4 instalments back to back, I think I may have forgotten important plot information if I hadn't.

This last one was harder to get through. Not that it's bad but it don't know just not my fav. Every book is the same. Huge climax and then wham your done, lol. You get so worked up in the story it's a let down when it's done:0(

What did we learn from this book? Don't bring people back from the dead...it only makes their life worse then it was before.

This book wasn't all over the place like the last one was but it is still not nearly as engaging as the first.

I felt the ending was rushed. I don't feel like much of anything was resolved. There are so many things that didn't get explained or worked out correctly. I read all 4 books, and honestly the 4th was the biggest let down. Although, looking back on it now, I should have expected it. Not completely horrible, but it could have been WAY better.
