Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book, but ... There was a sense that the style was slightly too tabloidy at times, and there's a fair bit of repetition. I felt I heard the voice of the writer, but didn't get too much of a handle on each of the captains involved. There was also a sense of 'cut and paste', rather than fresh stuff. This is an entertaining series and hornet fans should still read this, it's entertaining, if lacking a little in insight.
