The World of Greek Mythology, written by Ben Spies when he was only 11 years old, and is a retelling of some of the Greek myths.
I really enjoyed this book. It is well written, fast paced and humorous. I think it would really appeal to younger readers, it is written in a way that is understandable and enjoyable. Reading this book is like being retold the Greek myths from the point of view of a young person and it is lovely to see that interpretation. 4 stars, reccomend to young people to introduce them to the wonderful world of Greek Mythology.
Review from my 10-year-old son: This got me into the subject of Greek mythology even more! I really loved the part at the end about the 5 rivers of the underworld. Can't wait for the next one! Six stars out of five: the same as the number of times I've read this book so far.
It was a fun read, very interesting, not at all boring. The young writer did a great job any hit all his marks when Explaining the stories of the Greek gods.
