Hiro Fujiwara (藤原ヒロ in Japanese) is a Japanese manga artist.
The manga artist was once active under her previous pen name, Izumi Hiro (和泉 ヒロ) at the end of the 1990's but has abandoned the name after she won the Best Rookie award in the LMS for Kaeri Michi, Yuki no Netsu.
Her first series, which is also her latest ongoing work, Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!, translation Maid Sama!) is currently serializing in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, LaLa. This series is licensed by Tokyopop for North America, and an anime adaptation was broadcast during Spring 2010.
Loved this volume but I liked the last one even better than this one. I have two more volumes to go and I am finished this series, I can't believe I am almost done this series. It feels like it is too good to be true. I loved everything about this volume, and I just want to continue reading!
If you don't know what this is about, this is about a girl named Misaki who is the school president. She is secretly working as a maid in a cafe. But Usui finds Misaki working as a maid and her secret is no longer a secret. Ever since he discovered this, he has never left Misaki's side, following her everywhere and helping her out. Both of the characters slowly come to realize their feelings and open up to each other.
I just want to keep looking at her.
Usui is an amazing character and I want to see him make more friends! Misaki is also an awesome character, she is a loyal friend and lover. She is always there for the people she loves and those who are dear to her. Shintani is an amazing character and I love how honest he is with Misaki. Suzana is an awesome little sister, her cooking is the best. Yukimaru is one of the characters that make me laugh so much. Gerrard is such a demanding character who is spoiled and bossy. I wish he would give Usui more personal space and wait to listen to his choices. Yuu is an interesting character that we learn more about and also Patricia. (Wink, wink)
This series is so much fun, I enjoy myself so much! I loved learning more about Usui's background and more about his parents. I wished that he took Misaki with him though because they are separated and have no contact with each other. Their relationship is strong though and I love that about these two, nothing can ever come between them. Misaki is one of those characters who is ready to cross the country for anyone she cares about. She is ready to wear uncomfortable clothing and act like a lady in order to fit in best with those she loves.
I loved this series so much, I can't wait to read more! I highly recommend this to everyone who likes romantic comedies. I also recommend this to anyone who has watched the anime and want more, this manga is perfect. If you haven't read manga and you need a good one to read, pick this up! And if you have already read manga and want more, I highly recommend this!
I don't know, I guess I'm just not a big fan of the tsundere character, but I appreciate how hard they are working to be with each other. Geez, talk about class struggles *rolls eyes.
Dios en este cap pasaron tantas cosas.... Espero que Misaki logre lo que se propuso.. y me encanto que contaron como fue la historia de los papas de Usui... Y ese final fue epico... todavia no puedo de la risa...!
This series is starting to get really interesting once again, and with this volume it's clear that they're building up for an epic finale to the series!
We learned a lot about Usui's history (and his family's) in this one, with , plus Misaki is also getting ready for what may be an epic rescue.
Side note: The Miyabigaoka president is starting to really grow on me.
Chapter notes below for reference: (spoiler heavy)
Misa’s father is still working at the café. Hinata tells him what he did was wrong, but he needs to keep working hard so they can be a family again soon.
Usui is feeling lonely because he and Misa hardly get to be alone together. He has her hold a bunch a dishes just so she can “take his time eating her up” then he licks and nibbles her.
Shortly after this, Usui takes her on a tour of his school grounds and then drops a bomb, he’s going to England.
When he gets there, his brother plays dirty. He won’t let Usui see his grandfather, claiming he’s too sick, and we find out Gerald hasn’t even told him he’s there. He eventually takes his phone and locks it away so he can’t get in touch with Misaki. So Usui is stuck in a bad situation.
He does find out that he was lied to about his father. His dad was a butler that worked for them. His grandfather’s butler lets him read her diary so he gets the real story. We also find out Gerald hates the fact Usui exists, but Usui isn’t resentful of his “misfortune” (Gerald's words) because it means he was able to meet Misaki.
Meanwhile, Usui’s “new friends” are doing everything they can to prepare Misaki for visiting England, as she plans to go find Usui. Things are not going all that smoothly trying to turn her into someone Usui’s family will welcome, though. (of course not)
In the bonus story, we find out Sakura and Kuga are going out now.

I was about to rate 3 since the story is ok but not much to me.The reason I give 4 stars since there are some part I was interesting seeing my fav Tora laugh at Misaki's funny training with Tora's friends n just to meet usui at Britain. There are some parts about usui's family truth story that usui should know.I can't blame Gerard guy since he's been hurt to know the truth because of her mother is having affair with another guy(yuu- usui's father) plus hate usui because of his existence.Gerard still love his mother the most n cared for her n hate usui n usui's father.

Usui is going to Britain and his brother, Gerard, have a dirty scheme for him. Smh. Even, he also send a threat video message to Misaki.
Something that I couldn't understand is.. why Misaki decides to come to Britain, too? I mean.. will she make any difference? --but well this is a shoujo manga.. what could I say...
Other than that, there is a story about Usui's mother and ofc another background story of him. So much complicated imho..

Pasaron demasiadas cosas en este tomo, entre ellas la historia (verdadera) de los padres de Takumi. Debo admitir que a pesar de ser un recurso cliché, me agradó la manera en que éstos se conocieron (y más al ver de dónde sacó Usui su carácter). Sin embargo la sección extra con Kuga y Sakura no me acaba de encantar ... Me sigue pareciendo una relación tóxica por más "tsundere" que lo quieran hacer ;;
Gilbert is right, Usui really is an exact replica of both his parents. Explains so much about him. I feel like the recent thought-dumps have been kinda mild as compared to the earlier ones even though I'm enjoying these volumes more. The story, characters, and art everything just keeps getting better and better and it's all very... *chef's kiss*

my mom was actually the one that introduced me to this one. I recall the manga ending when I first got into the anime. not sure when I finished the manga but this one is 100% a reread. ive reread this one in 2020 too!
I WAS GETTING A TINY BIT BORED BC NOTHING WAS HAPPENING BUT THEN A LOT OF THINGS WERE HAPPENING AND OMG USUI’S PARENTS STORY IS SO 😭😭😭 IM SO SAD THAT THE END IS NEAR
