I don't know where to begin. This fic turned my head inside out. 
It was beautifully and poetically written. Really, there were such images storming through my mind while reading, it was magical. 
The setting, the whole historical AU was done magnificently, it seemed completely historically accurate, and it was such a great idea to mix AOT characters with a real period of time. 
Mostly, i fell in love with the characterization of Erwin and Levi, they were so close to the canon story and yet, almost their own independant characters. The same goes for Farlan and Isabel who were interpreted and re-written in such an interesting way. 
The end left me aching for more, but also emotionally drained. It was a great ending, bittersweet, beautiful, but I was still a bit sad. 
Overall i wanted to thank hedera_helix for her incredible work on this, because she truly wrote one of the best eruri fics i've ever read.

I think this is probably the best fanfiction i’ve ever read. The writing style keeps you stuck to the pages even by simply describing mundane actions. The story is extremely intriguing and hedera helix surely did lots of research in order to create this marvellous masterpiece. I am glad i was able to read this and i recommend it to EVERYONE. Not only aot fans, but everyone. For the characterization of each character is deep and interesting. And well, if you like to cry about how cruel the world is, this book is definitely for you. Realistic but so unbelievably sad. Five stars. I wish i could give more.

Very good written, the similarities to SnK/AoT are so good worked into it and the research has been done brilliant! You really get the ww2 feeling, feel like shit and everything, but at the same time the book manages to not feel wholely depressing.
Just sad the printed version isn't available anymore

The story was amazing and original. I was not able to stop reading from the moment I started and it was emotional exhausting. It was catchy and made my heart beat so fast due to the mixed emotions I was feeling. It is exciting and sad, then you are smiling while reading and crying again.
I have read 2 times already this novel and it only gets better.
