There is trouble in the beautiful South Park Valley of Colorado and Dan Walker's father has written to his drifting son to "come home" to help his aging parents deal with the intimidation and turmoil. Walker rides from Wyoming and into a hornets-nest of intrigue, scheming, kidnapping, and to the rescue of a beautiful, and lonely, mountain girl, who is caught up in the violence gripping the valley. This tender love story will warm your heart as it unfolds in the shadows of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Great western fiction story from start to finish. I enjoyed reading it tremendously. Main character has everything I look for when I’m reading old western fiction books. I’ve read thousands and this one rated at the top. O L Brown checked all the boxes for me. I’m one who really loves happy endings.
