Meghan and her sisters, wolf shifters, come to Silver Town to run an inn. They also see ghosts, and are able to help several spirits move along to the next plane. Meghan's dating Sheriff Peter, and each has secrets that need to be told before their relationship gets more serious. In the meantime, there is plenty of lust, suspense, and Christmas cheer. A fun holiday paranormal read.

This was a fun addition to the Silver Town Wolves. (POSSIBLE SPOILER) I’m still up in the air about ghosts and how it dominated the story, but it did add an interesting dimension to this sexy romance. The real-life danger dogging Meghan could have carried the story if it had more action and suspense. That may have cut in on the day-to-day building love for each other and bonding with the town. Meghan and Peter made a lovely and believable couple, neither too bogged down in what happened in their pasts. I’m glad they took care of that angle early on so they could focus on everything else going on. This was a nice holiday romance that I enjoyed.

Meghan MacTire and Sheriff Peter Jorgenson plan to spend the rest of their lives together and what better time to start their forever ever after that Christmas? But both of them have dark secrets that has come back to haunt them and threaten their future together.

This loup garou romance is a heartwarming and suspenseful holiday story that puts spirit in the readers’ hearts! Meghan and Peter are strong, wonderful, characters that readers can relate to and their chemistry definitely says that they belong together. The relationship, while they have been courting for a while, has kind of stalled as they both have been holding back some secrets from the past and in this case those secrets have literally come back to put a kink in their moving forward. There is lots of emotional turbulence flowing from the pages but there is also lots of holiday spirit as Silver Town gears up for the holidays and which really tugs at the heartstrings when they all do their part to the past to rest.

The story is fast paced and full of thrilling suspense as danger and opposition shows its face right before a critical moment of Meghan and Peter’s relationship putting Meghan in the cross hairs of an ex and a dangerous enemy and even a ghost. This story has it all and readers’ definitely want to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate to warm the rest of their bodies they way this enjoyable and exceedingly entertaining story warms the heart and spirit.

•••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is the ninth instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary, adult SILVER TOWN WOLF / Heart of the Wolf paranormal romance series focusing on the wolf shifters of Silver Town. This is wolf shifters Silver Town hotel co-owner Meghan MacTire, and Sheriff Peter Jorgenson’s story line. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Meghan and Peter) HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS follows the building relationship between Silver Town hotel co-owner Meghan MacTire, and Sheriff Peter Jorgenson. As the Christmas holidays approach, Meghan MacTire is hoping her long-time beau Sheriff Peter Jorgenson will ask her to mate but when an ex-boyfriend demands a second chance, Meghan gets suspicious considering said ex-boyfriend knows Meghan’s secret, a secret our heroine is desperate to keep buried.

Meanwhile, Meghan and her sisters are able to see and speak to the spirits who have yet to move on, and in this the Silver Town hotel resident ghost Chrissy, has some surprising information for our story line heroine. Hoping to help Chrissy cross-over, Meghan goes in search of Chrissy’s beloved, a man whose own death brings up too many memories from the past. As Peter struggles to move beyond his own demons, his mating with Meghan is put on hold when Peter’s former love demands retribution for sins of the past.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and love. There is an inordinate amount of telling not showing, and in this the redundancy tends to overwhelm. Repetition of events slows down the story line build up, as the reader is subjected to numerous replays of story line development, plot points and information. The premise is entertaining; the romance is gradual and passionate; the characters are numerous, colorful and energetic including several ghosts who have yet to move on.

Terry Spear has once again demonstrated her literary talent with this wonderful Christmas story packed with suspense, danger and secrets. Meghan is the last unattached sister of the triplets, and this is her and Peter’s story, which outlines the pain of opposition and the complications of stealth and deception. Silver Town Wolf: Home for the Holidays is an emotional, heartfelt and exciting read, with moments of humour mixed amongst the drama and suspense of life in a Shifter town and the relationships that form between not only our primary couple, but also the family dynamics and the powerful connection that lies between a shifter community.

Ms Spear has a knack for creating a captivating world, providing well developed characters, and thrilling, edge of your seat storylines. This book definitely ticks all those boxes and has some wonderful festive and fun ideas within the fabulous plot. Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing me with an ARC of this compelling story.

This one was cute, loved how the town all pushed their noses in and how all the Christmas events played into things. For the most part Meghan and Peter were pretty solid as a couple, despite each of them having a secret. Once their secrets came out both accepted them and helped figure out how deal with things.

Meghan told her sisters - they were triplets- Laurel and Ellie she had to change her clothes. She was feeling a little anxious about her date with Sheriff Peter Jorgenson. Since she needed to tell him about her psychic ability to see and speak to ghosts. Running the Victorian Inn had been keeping the sisters busy during this holiday season. It was ten days before Christmas. Tonight Peter wanted to take her to the Silver Town Tavern . the food and atmosphere was great there and it was private membership only so only wolves were allowed. Everyone in the pack was wondering, If peter and Meghan were going to mate. If not, other bachelor wolves were waiting in the wings. Both her sisters were mated to Silver brothers and couldn’t wait until Meghan was mated as well. Meghan had been dating Peter for over a year now. Peter didn’t seem in any rush to ask Meghan to mate him, and she needed to discuss some issues with him, that could affect how he views her. Besides her ghost abilities, she had sent a wolf to prison before she moved to Silver Town. Even if he could live with her dark secret she didn’t want anyone else in the pack to know. She’d been so hurt the last time she mentioned it to a wolf boyfriend that she never wanted to discuss it with anyone ever again. The ex - Bill- and her sisters were the only ones besides the imprisoned wolf who knew. Deputy C J Silver reminded Peter he had to tell Meghan about his late wife. Peter said he would, the time hadn’t been right. Peter wanted with all his heart to mate meghan but he just had to tell her he’d already had a mate. After Peter and Meghan were back at her house after dinner out, her cell phone rang and it was her ec Bill Weaver, who after a heated argument about -Rollins- the wolf she sent to prison he broke up with her. Bill called again and then called her landline and she unplugged the phone. Bill called again and said he had to see her in person and he wanted to say he was sorry and have a go at it again. Meghan said she was sorry she was dating someone seriously, and they were over. Meghan went for a run and her wolf fur kept her warm. Than she seen a large mostly black wolf she didn’t recognize off in the distance but he was observing her. Than Peter was there in his wolf form and ran with her back to her house. Meghan had to work in the morning or she would charge Peter in play. Than she decided and blindsided him with a tackle. He looked surprised for an instant. The sisters had never been separated for very long and they never wanted that to happen as they were so close to each other. Each sister was able to see ghosts and help them on their way most of the time. Meghan and her sisters grew up in Florida and had been restoring hotels mostly in the southern states. Meghan didn't want Bill to ruining things for her. She couldn’t believe he ‘d even consider trying to change her mind after all this time and after all the ugly things he had said to her. Meghan had witnessed a male wolf-Rollins- attempt to kill a human woman, though her options were to rectify it were limited, and none of them good. The inn had a residential ghost-Chrissy who had been a maid there until she died from a fever. She loved a miner -Aldin-and Meghan said she would see if she could contact Aldin-who had dined in a mine cave in. Peter went in the mine with her and they found some things that looked like someone was camping her -maybe Rollins. Bill had been attacked at the hotel but didn’t see who did it and was in the hospital for wolves. ` Meghan made contact with two ghosts- Aldin and another man who died there who's said he seen Rollins -when he was sixteen- set the explosion to cause the cave in, it was no accident. Than Peter let his pack know Rollins was one of their own and a serial killer and he killed the miners and beat women trying to kill them.
I loved this book. I loved Peter and Meghan together and how they interacted and he was there for her. Meghan did sense Peter was keeping his own secret but he tells her. I loved the pace and plot. I didn’t put this down unless I had too. I loved how meghan and her sisters could see and talk to ghosts and help them move on. I loved how close the pack was and would do anything to help each other. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of this book and I highly recommend it.

I have been a big fan of Terry Spear since To Tempt the Wolf was published years ago, and so I am honored to get the chance to review Spear’s newest release.

It has been a hot minute since I've last caught up on the Silver Town Wolf pack, but I am so excited to jump back into things with a Christmas story! Silver Town Wolf: Home for the Holidays opens up with Meghan and Peter being so close to becoming mates, only they each have reservations that they need to discuss before that happens. And then Meghan’s ex-boyfriend calls. And then he shows up in town. And then everything escalates from there.

But through all of this chaos and drama, the only thing steady is Peter and Meghan’s relationship.

Things that I liked are the minimal angst, even though there were plenty of opportunities with the ex-boyfriends, deceased mates, and all of the pack drama and secrets and sharing of secrets that go along with all of it. I also loved how Meghan’s ghost whisperer abilities have tied in so well. Who would have thought that the ghosts would have happened to see the bad guy passing through, and could fill Meghan in on all of the drama that she missed before moving to Silver Town. That scene cracked me up so much because it reminded me of Moaning Myrtle and some of the other ghosts in Harry Potter who loved to gossip with Harry about the previous years.

There were some things that I don’t like though. Starting with, a lot of the romance had already happened off of the page. Meghan and Peter had already been dating for the year before the book started and pretty much fallen in love, however, they were both keeping major secrets from each other. And also I spent a lot of time reading the book while trying to remember the family tree for all of the Silver Town wolves. And as someone who has read the books as they were published, it was probably less confusing for me than it could be for someone binging all of Spear’s books. I think that while the Silver family tree is getting more and more complex, I would definitely benefit from a family tree chart in one of the next books or even in the Terry Spear newsletters!

Overall this was another enjoyable paranormal-werewolf-romance-Christmas story. And one that I will be re-reading (along with the rest of the series––in order) soon!

I always love returning to the Silver Town Wolf part of the larger Heart of the Wolf series – especially at Christmas, these wolves know how to do up Christmas right!

Meghan and Peter have been dating, they both know they want forever together, yet they’re stalling, holding back because each has secrets in their pasts that the other doesn’t know about just yet. Telling those secrets will free them in so many ways but fear of how the other will react has been holding them back. Soon there is going to be no choice and they’ll have to hope that the pieces can be mended again.

If you haven’t read the previous stories it would be so easy to give away spoilers now, so I’m going to be careful and a bit vague on some points. Meghan and her sisters have come to Silver Town to make a new life, start over – and perhaps discover some interesting powers upon their arrival. Peter and Meghan are so right together but they must face their pasts before moving to their future. The townsfolk, mostly, know what Peter is holding back but he’d better have that conversation before someone says something that he should have said to Meghan a while ago. I liked that the conflict for them wasn’t drawn out, they have more to deal with than what they didn’t tell each other sooner. There is laughter, danger, a shifter town’s celebration of Christmas and a couple who were made for each other to enjoy in HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

I had fun with this visit to Silver Town. I love the tight-knit community, the way they go all out for Christmas, and that they have each other’s back no matter what. If you love a really good Shifter Romance, a couple to enjoy, a town to love and huge dashes of Christmas cheer then you’ll want to pick up HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS now.

I love the holiday stories in the Silver Town Wolf series. The festive atmosphere, the way the town comes together to celebrate, and, of course, the romance. I really loved that this one had quite a touch more of the paranormal than just the wolves. We got to see ghosts through the eyes of Meghan MacTire and her sisters. As Meghan tries to help the spirits move on, she worries about telling the love of her life (and potential mate) about her unusual abilities and other secrets from her past.

As she navigates these tricky conversations with Sheriff Peter Jorgenson (who’s hiding his own secrets as well), her past comes back to haunt her - only not in ghostly form. Real-life flesh and blood crazy people show up - one so much more so than the other - and begin the worst of the two has her death all planned out.

But he may have bitten off more than he can chew - because our super evil bad guy has a secret history of his own that’s about to come out. And if the town hadn’t already rallied behind Meghan and her sisters, well, they want their own revenge for past wrongs now.

There was plenty of action in Home for the Holidays, but there were also long periods of inactivity. I feel like the story was just a tad drawn out. While I loved seeing Meghan and Peter become more comfortable around each other, there didn’t see to be a real flow to it. It jumped along in fits and bursts, that if smoothed out could have made the story have a better flow.

I will definitely be reading more of the Silver Town Wolf series. The way you get to re-visit past couples and get to know the whole town is amazing, and I love to go visit.

Meghan McTire & Pete Jorgenson have been dating for a about a year. Both are keeping secrets from their pasts. When danger shows up in Silver Town will it come between Meghan and Peter. Will her special gift get in their way? Who's past will possibly keep them apart?

Meghan McTire and her two sister moved to Silver Town to renovate an old Victorian Inn. They decided to stay. Her sister became mated to two local men and the three of them run the Inn with Meghan living in the house that came along with the it. As triplets they share the same unusual gift. She hasn't told the man she's dating about her past because the last time she did there was a break up. Sheriff Pete Jorgenson is keeping a secret as well. A resident ghost at the Inn takes Meghan on an adventure to the local now closed mines to put the spirit to rest. Pete isn't sure he believes in the McTire women's gift of talking to ghosts. Meghan and Pete start getting closer and are about to tell each other about their pasts when her ex-boyfriend comes into town. Trying to warn her about the past she's kept hidden. He also wants Meghan back as his girlfriend. Pete and other men of the town band together to protect the McTire sisters from danger, while keeping their holiday traditions. Pete must investigate the assault on the ex-boyfriend. His past is put on hold for a little bit while they deal with the threat to Meghan. As more becomes known about the man who Meghan put in prison and he happens to be one of their own, Pete understands her reasons. Pete realizes that he can possibly use Meghan's gift to aid in his investigations as sheriff. He finally reveals the fact that he was married and his wife died a violent death. They find clues to the shifters where about and one of his hideouts was Pete's old home. He decides that its time to tear down the collapsing house. Meghan tries to move Pete's wife onto the next phase only to have her attach herself to Meghan. They try to deceive her by using another member of the pack. Meghan and Pete get his wife to realize that it wasn't his fault that he wasn't there when she was attacked. Pete finds out about his wife's activities when he was away. Meghan helps some miner's ghosts trapped in the mines to find rest and brings the families peace about their dead loved ones. She's given angels by the families of the miners who died as a Thank You for helping their relatives. Her ex-boyfriend gets the message that there are no feelings that Meghan has for him. He plans to leave but, its thought that he'd go after the man after Meghan alone. Christmas comes and Meghan and Pete have just become mates and exchanged gifts and are about to celebrate with their family. As they get ready to have a wonderful Christmas day. A ringing doorbell while Pete is outside has Meghan answering the door without thinking. She gets a glimpse of a giant angel before she's knocked unconscious. When she wakes up in the mine with her ex-boyfriend as a fellow hostage she realizes what happened. The man she put in prison has kidnapped her and is about to kill them and get his revenge on what she did to him all those year ago. Meanwhile, Pete comes back into the house to realize Meghan is gone and he calls for reinforcements. A new snow has him following the tracks to the mine. Meghan stall for time and hopes that Pete will find them soon by keeping her captor talking. She's trying to get herself free and realizes she can't in time but makes a move to help safe them. An explosion and cave in has Meghan and the ex trapped behind a wall of rock. The good news is their kidnapper's trapped as well. Pete and help arrive and start to dig them out. Finally, they get enough space so that Pete gets through to Meghan. There's celebration for the holiday and their mating. A baby is on the way for one of the sisters. Pete and Meghan love being surrounded by family.

Terry Spear brings the holidays to Silver Town for the story of Sheriff Pete Jorgenson and Meghan McTire and their romance and mating and the danger that comes at them from both sides of their pasts. Ms. Spear's has written a story full of danger, intrigue, and some surprising turns in this holiday season story of true love and happy mating. Can't wait for the next book Silver Town Wolf series. Terry Spear always a great read!!!!

ARC REVIEW

Silver Town Wolf #9, I love this series and I love the MacTire sisters this one was good, not my favorite but not horrible either. It had plenty of intrigue, a little bit of angst, just enough Holiday spirit and lots of romance. Meghan can see and communicate with ghosts the resident ghost at the inn has become extra emotional this holiday season. She misses her beau and asks Meghan if she can look into finding him, as both were shifter there is a good chance he might still be alive. Meghan and the sheriff, Peter, have been dating for about a year and with a mating inevitably in their future they both decide to come clean about secrets they have been keeping. Unfortunately Meghan's past comes out before she gets the chance to tell Peter when her ex-boyfriend shows up out of the blue with news. Peter takes it in stride because his secret is just as big. When Meghan's secret somehow connects to the inn's ghost, the town's biggest tragedy and Peter's past everything seems almost to much to handle especially since Peter puts Meghan and her sisters under 24/7 protection.

Overall it was a good read. There was a bit more sex in it than I typically like these days, but that's me. The holiday aspect of the book was nice with the full victorian costume caroling, the gingerbread house competition, and the snow sculpture competition and the pack Christmas party and gift exchange. I like Terry Spear's writing the intrigue is nicely done with how everything ties together and a very good ending.

Terry Spear delivers a wonderful feel-good story full of hope and romance.

Gray wolves Meghan MacTire and Sheriff Peter Jorgenson plan to spend the rest of their lives together, and what better time to start forever than Christmas? But they are both harboring dark secrets that are about to surface and threaten their future together. With holiday magic in the air and all Silver Town ready to celebrate, Meghan and Peter have to conquer the past if they're to have any hope of celebrating this Christmas together

Overall I really enjoyed the interaction between Meghan and Peter. The story started a little slow, with Meghan trying to figure out the status of her relationship and figure out how to talk to Peter, but the story quickly picked up and reminded me why I love this author. The romance was sweet rather than steamy, but when I finished I felt contentment that is often missed in books with overly passionate scenes. This novel will stand alone, but if you have read the other books in the series you will really enjoy a look at your favorite characters. I highly recommend this novel.

I received this as an arc from Netgalley for my honest review. The opinions are my own.

Silver Town is gearing up for Christmas as is the inn that Meghan MacTire owns with her sisters. Meghan has been dating local sheriff, Peter Jorgenson for over a year. As gray wolves, they want to mate but both have secrets from their past that they have to share first. Meghan also sees ghosts. When someone from Meghan's past shows up in town and they learn a secret from some ghosts in the mine, it turns out that they're related.

I absolutely love Terry's books and this one was no exception. The Silver Town wolves are a great family and I really enjoy the small town camaraderie the wolves all show. This book hooked me from the beginning keeping me entranced until the end as I read it in one sitting. Full of characters you love and some you don't, you'll get to know them and feel as if you're right there with them. I was captivated and enjoyed the relationship between Meghan and Peter as well as that of the triplet sisters. I highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order. I also recommend all of Terry's other series. You won't be disappointed.

Silver Town Wolf: Home for the Holidays is the latest installment of Terry Spear’s Silver Town werewolf paranormal romance/erotica series. Meghan MacTire is a triplet who runs the local Inn with her sisters and has a few secrets in her past, including her ability to talk to ghosts. Her romantic interest is Sheriff Peter Jorgenson. Their relationship is slow going and they are each confronted with challenges separately and together. Additionally, a werewolf that Meghan helped put in jail is using all of his resources to seek revenge on Meghan.

I really like Terry Spear books, especially in this series, but this one wasn’t as engaging for me. Perhaps it is the Christmas theme. I rarely adore books that are put out specifically for a holiday as they just don’t seem as well plotted out. Reading Home for the Holidays did make me want to read the entire series again, and I am thoroughly enjoying the re-read!

This is the 9th book in this series and I would absolutely read the previous books before reading this one. Otherwise you may be confused about things that are said. Meghan and Peter plan to spend the rest of their lives together and the holidays seem like the perfect time to start their forever together. But they both have secrets and those secrets are now coming out, and are threatening their happy ending.

This was a cute and sweet paranormal with the suspense thrown in that I love. Meghan and Peter are perfect for each other and have that chemistry that I love. There was plenty of suspense and a few things that I really wasn't expecting. My only drawback was that it starts off slow and I had a hard time getting into at first. But once I got further in, it was much better and sucked me to the end. If you have enjoyed this author's previous books in this series, then you will like this one as well.

Worth the wait!

This story has some action, many twists and turns, as well as wonderful characters that we have seen in previous stories and been rooting for! There are also a few different plot lines. There was so much going on, but it all intertwined seamlessly. Peter and Meghan are well developed and wonderfully complex. The pace is fast, although their courtship has taken longer than many other matings. The tone is hopeful, along with a character and action oriented storyline that includes some steamy scenes. All in all a superb addition to the Heart of the Wolf/Silver Town Wolf series. I am totally excited to see what is coming next for this series. A new side series to Silver Town apparently. I can't wait! Enjoy this book or series, if you have not read Terry Spear before. I would read at least Silver Town Wolf in order, if not all the various series which make up the Heart of the Wolf series.

I love Terry's wolf books and this one was a great addition. Peter and Meghan are not new characters so it was great to see them get their own book. He is such a straight laced wolf that it was fun to see his playful side come out. Granted there was still plenty of serious because there was someone after his girl, the book still had an overall uplifting feel.

I love that the author incorporates ghosts and the ability of the three sisters to see and talk to them. There were some awesome characters that we get to reconnect with and some grumbly ones that I really don't want to see again (but they fit their roles perfectly!). It was overall a good holiday read with romance, danger and family all mixed together in a wonderful way.

It was a 4/5 for me.

The wolves of Silver Town deliver again! The MacTire sisters are a beautiful threesome with a slight difference from most wolves....ghosts! One can hear them, one can feel and one can see and talk to them! The Sheriff is very much interested in Meghan but he's afraid to tell her he was once mated. Meghan is afraid to tell him about the ghosts, it's scared away more than one possible mate. Event's unfold that make it impossible for her not to tell him and he finally gets past his block about telling her of his past.... ghosts are the key to everything! Ghosts in the Silver Town mine and a returning bad boy trigger a series of events and a truth is revealed. Not all are happy but for the health of the whole pack it is necessary to uncover the real truth of a cave in. All of this unfold amidst the Christmas festivities and make it all the more special for Sheriff Peter and Meghan.
Enjoy the town of Silver Town and it's magic!

Another enjoyable read by Terry Spear at Christmas time. Christmas was spelled out in so many ways, that I am grabbing a couple of the entertainment and drink ideas :) If you are a reader of Terry Spear and this wonderful series than you know Meghan was a triplet, the only sis still single. This is her and Peters story (Sheriff) Meghans secret is before her move to Silver Town and Peters is well known with in Silver Town but not by Meghan. This is a story of relationships between couples, families, and towns all centered at Christmas time enhanced with suspense and mystery. Shifters, ghosts, suspense, humor and a little mystery - all here at Silver Town,
Thank you Terry Spear, Sourcebooks Casablanca and Net Galley for the arc, providing me with enjoyment! All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Wow, you wonder how they can keep these secrets from each other and still manage to have a relationship and possible mating. Their secrets that they plan on telling (always in the future!) end up getting blurted out by other people.

Lots of problems that they need to get through as we find out that Peter was mated before and slowly the details come out that his previous mating (marriage) was the perfect romance and to make things even worse, Lena's ghost is causing problems between Peter and Meghan.

Lots of drama, emotions, and intrigue along with the romance, as Peter and Meghan work towards a mating while they are searching for the villain in the book - Rollins.

Nice to see the previous couples along the way and "keep up" with Silver Town citizens!

Home for the Holidays by Terry Spear had that cozy Hallmark vibe. It also packed a lot of suspense, action, and danger. The romance between the two main wolves blossomed with every page. Heating up the atmosphere and causing me to guess until the end. Risks were high and the fear of what will be created the right amount of tension. The cast of characters were charming. I loved Meghan and Peter. They had this chemistry that made me root for them. Mated is a serious business. Peter wanted to tell Meghan about his secret to keep things clear between them. However, the right time seemed to never comes. Meghan also had a secret. . Again, she too, had the same issue Peter did. Both were afraid of losing each other. It was so sweet.

I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.

Meghan has returned to Silver Town to be close to her sisters and join the wolf pack. She's a wolf that can talk to ghosts. Sheriff Peter Jorgenson is ready to ask Meghan to be his mate but they both have a secret in their past that may ruin their romance and Christmas. Megan's testimony put a wolf in jail and that is considered a big sin in the wolf community. Peter's old home is haunted by his wife who has a nasty streak in her. Now with the rogue wolf escaped from jail and the town's ghosts clamoring for attention the holiday has just gotten busier. This is book 9 in the Silver Town Wolf series and can be read as a stand alone, this is the first I've read and will be looking for the previous 8 titles. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Supernatural mystery including wolf shifters and ghosts.
Set during a Christmas holiday scene and events.
Grey Wolves Meghan MacTire and Sheriff Peter Jorgenson are planning their lives together.
But they both have some secrets that need to get sorted out before they do.
Meanwhile there is a mystery concerning several ghosts that have some things to settle before they can move on. Meghan and her two sisters can see ghosts and talk to them.
Meanwhile, there is a rogue wolf creating some major problems for the people of the town. It is up Peter and the pack, to get to the bottom of the situation before it backfires on Meghan and Peter and puts them in danger.
There was a lot going on with this story and it kept my interest throughout.

-3 stars, maybe only 2.

the whole concept that you can never have sex with another wolf or you're mated to them and stuck with them for life - i don't buy it. it doesn't work for me. i cant imagine any teenagers keeping it in their pants. and if i ended up mated to the first guy i had sex with as a teenager, ugh, what a nightmare.
"they couldn't have consummated sex, or they'd be mated wolves. Forever."

-lots of angst over secrets each of them were keeping from the other for fear of being rejected if the secret was shared.

"someone's been sitting in my chair."
"someone's been sleeping in your bed."
"somebody's been eating your porridge."

Back to the wolf-shifters! A Christmas story about shifters that is lots of fun, especially when you throw in ghosts! (They’re pretty friendly!). The stars of the story are Meghan the cute little red wolf and Peter who is the sheriff in town! Meghan and her sisters run an inn in town and she has been dating Peter, the handsome sheriff. Meghan is a shifter who sees ghosts and she tries to help some local ghosts in town. Meghan is also afraid for her life because she put another shifter in jail and now he’s looking for her! Fun story with lots of action! Four stars for this one!

Well this was a it different. Of course the whole wolf thing is there but this one had ghost. Interesting combination.

I liked the story. This has a nice holiday feel to it with a paranormal feel. I thought the couple was perfect for each other and liked with the holiday theme there was not a lot of couple drama. Mostly the couple stuck together to deal with the other issues.

Good holiday read.

SILVER TOWN WOLF: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS by Terry Spear, book 9 of Silver Wolf Town

"Dead men tell no tales", but in SILVER TOWN WOLF: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, the dead men DO tell tales, shattering long kept secrets.

A spellbinding tale about ghosts, an escaped convict, and a hot attraction between the town’s sheriff and his lovely ghost-whisperer. The magnetism between Meghan and Peter is off the charts!
Terry Spear set this sexy romantic tale with the magic of Christmas and long-suffering ghosts of Christmas’ past.

Peter is the sheriff. He wants to make Meghan his mate. He has his own secrets.
