When Tanya was brought into the hospital, she had lost her memory and was placed into foster care after she healed. Lucky for her Edward Taylor saw potential in her and brought her home to the plantation. When she met Edward's son David, it was love at first site but he kissed her and threw her away literally.
Now Edward is sick and dying. David is back but still resents Tanya for being close to his father when he never was. It was even worse when Edward died and Tanya was given the management position at the plantation in the will. David was angry, resentful and much more, so he tried to hurt her. Eventually he faced his feelings and realized that he truly loved her.
Then one night they were out at a country festival when a girl named Imogen ran up to her and started calling her Victoria. Tanya instantly felt a pain in her head and got her memories back. She wasn't actually Tanya but Victoria Danforth, a girl who had been long since missing from a prominent family. The question was, where did that leave David and her?
It was all together a great book, David and Tanya/Victoria/Tori were awesome characters and when they gave into their feelings they made the book that much more beautiful!
A good read. I almost have nothing against this book. Though I can't find something really special from the book, either. Well, except for the eloped part, I enjoyed this book. Likeable characters. No unnecessary scene/story.
Now, for the last book, I have high expectation from it. One book to go for this series. Senator, I'm coming :D
