Swing Low

Rate this book
Mandy Antonetti wasn’t exactly sold on becoming a swinger with her husband. But when she makes her profile on a swinger’s website called Swing Low, she sets in motion the events that will change everything. Mandy’s world begins to unravel, blurring into a mixture of sex, lies and betrayal. Things, places and events become hopelessly intertwined into a blur of reality, illusion and her obsession, making reality and fantasy almost impossible to distinguish. Will Mandy find what she needs within herself to break free from her obsession, or will it destroy her and the lives of those around her?

Not sure how to describe this book. It got kind of crazy toward the end. I mostly enjoyed it but I’m not sure if it accurately portrayed bipolar disorder. To me it sounded like Mandy had something else going on besides that.
I’m mostly upset about how Sarabeth turned out in the end. She was a great character and I don’t believe she would’ve become shitty like that.
Also loads of grammar and formatting errors, very distracting but can be ignored.

Erotic and psychological. My favorite character was actually Carolina, despite what a bitch she was. I wish there had been more sexual encounters between her and Mandy.

Looking forward to more books from this author. Check out Hollow Girl if you dare!

Swinging Low had an exciting plot line, but honestly, the ending knocked this book quite a bit for my liking. I do think the ending was supposed to be a shocker ending, but I don't think it was an ending for me. I did love and hate certain characters, and I liked how the main character seemed to be obsessive, which lead her to her ending, but I just didn't like how the "mental" health aspect of the book played out.
