We as women are born nurturers, that means putting everyone's need ahead of ourselves!
But wait a minute now! There's no magic feel good/skinny pill and it's not easy but putting your health and well being FIRST is so important and necessary for our health.
Fabulously informative book that tells us to slow down, think of the importance of taking care of ourself one step at a time. Most of us eat processed food and if we do eat clean foods (unprocessed foods) we know how hard it is to maintain this way of eating. As for myself I know I feel better, look younger and have more energy when I eat cleanly.
Very motivational book telling us the benefits of clean eating with helpful eating plans and recipes included. Incorporating the ideas in this book you will be on your way to better health, weight loss and more energy. The positives are all there. Highly recommended!

The last three books I listened to about health (and different health issues, like MS sufferers, or those with PCOS) sound like this one. They all come down to the same point, you need an anti-inflammatory diet to be healthier. Every book has varying degrees of what that entails. Some more strict than others. This one is a little better, it talks about taking out certain foods then reintroducing them after awhile to see if you can handle them. It's also has a huge emphasis on changing the way you think in order to overcome all obstacles.

I really liked that this didn't sound like a supplement ad. It has recipes at the end that will help, and it's not an all or nothing deal. You do what you can handle.

Two things I didn't agree with:
- Don't buy BCAA's, they're only three of the essential amino acids. Instead buy EAA's if you're even going to buy them. You don't need to. It's all found in food (animal products)
- Something about not lifting weights, but using body-weight only. No. If you're not ready for it, that's different - but building more muscle keeps your healthier and it's difficult to build all muscles just using body-weight.

This is an eight hour audio. Get the book if you have any intention of following the plan, because recipes read out isn't that awesome to follow.

I felt like this book did have some good information, but I have to admit that there is no way I could stick to the diet it recommends. It is very restrictive so I will have to stick with trying to eat mostly protein, fruits, and veggies. It does give good advice on setting yourself up for success and how to create new habits for a healthy life which is always helpful.

Lots of great information, a lot I already knew because nutrition is one of my favorite things to read about it. I liked that it is holistic in its approach- it’s not just about losing weight. It’s about loving yourself and changing your mindset and putting in the work to live a healthy lifestyle. Now more than ever, this is vital!

Finally! An easy to follow, easy to understand book about how to be your healthiest you. I have "known" Natalie Jill ever since she appeared in one of my Jillian Michaels dvds. As a fitness star, Natalie is an inspiration to women everywhere. Now, in her new book Aging In Reverse, Natalie describes her own struggles with fitness and health and gives the reader hope as she lays out a plan that makes the reader think, "Hey, I can do this. This isn't so hard. These recipes look great!". Being in the health and fitness industry myself, I am always skeptical of new fad diets especially ones that are so short term. In this book, Natalie gives the reader a jumpstart in her 10-day plan but also teaches the reader how to live after those 10 days are over. A lifestyle plan! Who would have thought? This book was chock full of great information, recipes, and motivating stories of Natalie's clients. A must read!

Thank you to Netgalley, Natalie Jill, and Hachette for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The book's focus is on food and our relationship with eating. Recipes. A few basic exercises to start. I was hoping for more exercises.
