The New Cold War is Heating Up.

A bomb explodes.
Eight innocent children die.
A Russian-backed terrorist group calling itself Daybreak claims responsibility.

Daybreak’s duplicitous leader, Alexandr “Papa Sasha” Volkov, promises peace and prosperity while secretly planning an attack on America that will plunge the world into chaos.

Chris(tine) Niles has been telling stories since she was a lying kid. Now she’s figuring out how to make a career of it. Because she likes to eat, she tried for about fifteen minutes to write romance. But her characters kept killing each other, so she switched to thrillers.

She lives in northeastern Indiana with her husband, two daughters, and a hungry four-legged sack of fur named Franklin. When she's not writing, she loves to travel around the world, always finding great hiding places for bodies whether she's in the city or the wilderness.

An edge of the seat thriller.
This is the first Chris Niles book I have read and I am sure will read more from the author.
Anna Mitchell is a US intelligence operative who chases a bombing and sinister plotting from USA to the streets of Ukraine, where ‘Papa Sasha’ the leader of Daybreak, a terrorist group is planning multiple attack on US soil….. the larger aim being reunification of Ukraine and Russia.
Anna’s disturbing past and new revelations add new twists to the taut plot. Based in Ukraine and US, the book is a real page turner for readers who are hooked onto thrillers.

If you enjoy reading Vince Flynn, Lee Child, James Patterson, this is the book for you.

Amazing Book

After reading some of Kris' other books I wasn't sure if this international thriller could possibly be as good as those awesome reads. I was enthralled from the first chapter. This is one of the best written and entertaining books I have read. The characters are genuine, the action and suspense are excellent and the storyline draws you magnetically from start to finish. Truly Awesome. I cannot wait for the sequel.

Absolutely riveting

With Ukraine topping the newsfeed these days, the ripped-from-the-headlines nature of the story grabbed me immediately. Ms. Niles has woven a plot filled with twists and fascinating, complex characters. Her inside knowledge of Ukraine made the story more real. My only hope is that none of the bad guys decide her terror plot is a blueprint.
