Average looks, average skills. That’s me, Tarou Suzuki. My extreme ordinariness has been something I’ve been worrying about my whole life. But one day, and extremely beautiful, but drunk man showed up at my door-step!!! The moment he saw me, he burst into tears, claiming that I 'looked like his ex-lover', and tried to kiss me… A few days later, that same beautiful man also showed up at my new workplace! His name is Ryouta Shiga. Will my meeting with Shiga prove to be something life-changing?!
It has a little too many coincidences piled up at the start— Suzuki moves into his sister’s side piece’s old apartment; her ex shows up at his doorstep the very first night he’s moved in & mistakes him for his sister; turns out the next day the sister’s ex is Suzuki’s boss; AND that Suzuki’s dad is the president of the company.
But, if you can ignore all that (and that Suzuki’s sister is a monumentally selfish bitch), it’s a sweet, if a bit rushed GFY story. Definitely not my fave subgenre but Suzuki is just a likeable character that you do get swept up with him.
I’m not a huge fan of one-shots bc they’re usually pretty skeletal, and while this isn’t ground breaking, it does manage to tell a fairly complete story. Not bad for the sale price, though until the very end the heat level is very low and the story is very saccharine, so keep that in mind.
Suzuki Tarou has a very ordinary name and an ordinary life. When he starts his new job, however, that is about to change. He meets Shiga, his older sisters' ex-boyfriend and new subordinate, who first becomes his new friend and later - surprise - his lover.
The setting seems a bit difficult to believe, but there's a seriousness beneath the occasional silliness that made this work for me. Both Shiga and Suzuki struggle to find their way in the their own life and a place in each other's, and I really liked the development of that. Also, I have come to realize I prefer cuddling over sex a lot of the time, and there's lots of cuddling here.
A really enjoyable manga about salary men (which is, admittedly, one of my favourite types).
Reread September 2020 So, I forgot comiXology existed, and I logged back in after realizing a ton of titles were missing from my kindle. Why the heck do they separate them? So annoying.
Anyway, this was a refreshing reread. Easy story, pretty cute. I'm going to bump it up a star.

The art in the first half just isn't spectacular, but suddenly the level went up. While I was reading it, I was feeling some regret that I was reading it, but the story does improve. Now I'd be interested in reading a sequel. Definitely a slow starter.
A super cute story about two guys - 1 who is getting over a break-up and accidentally shows up at his ex-girlfriend's apartment to return the key, and the 2nd who is the new resident of that apartment. An accidental, drunken meeting brings them into each other's orbit, only for the two men to discover they'll be working together. I loved the story of the Suzuki name, and the way Shiga's feelings grow and evolve throughout the story.
I really enjoyed the storyline. It finally gives you some hot action at the end, but the building up to that point was really good. I would like to see these two go all the way to actually getting married. They are a good couple.
