About the author

“Zack Zombie” is the pen name for the writing team of William Peña and his son Matthew Peña.

Through their love for Minecraft and funny stories, they brought the zany adventures of a preteen Minecraft Zombie to life, in order to bring a little joy and laughter to the crazy and emotionally angst filled life of today's preteen.

My daughter absolutely loves the series. She is a big Minecraft fan and these aren't too hard for her to read. Even though she is a bit too old for the kids books - but her dyslexia makes books for her age too demanding. We finished all the paperbacks in this series that we had on our shelf so I have to buy a kindle unlimited membership for the next ones.....YES!!! :)

This is the best book ever

I love this series!!! Cyrus. The fact I can get it together for a few weeks of a sudden it was the best of the year and the other hand is the only thing that would have a great way for a few weeks of a sudden it was the best of the year and the other hand is a good time waster but the other day I have no idea what I was a great way for a while and the best thing about it is not the same thing over and over the next few weeks of a new phone case you want a relationship is the only thing that would have a great day and night with the same thing over and over the next

A book my son chose from the library, that we read together. He really enjoyed it, with its numerous Minecraft references; I thought it was inane.

The plot barely functions, and character development is non-existent which is an achievement in itself over 100 pages.

But my 5 year old really enjoyed it. So I guess that’s it’s target market. Unlikely to join the canon of children’s classics though.

I liked this book because I thought it was very funny. Steve suggested that Zack should pretend that he liked camp a lot so that if he did something bad his parents would take it away from him (Zack actually hated camp). The funny thing was that when Zack tried to fail a test every time he got an A+! FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zack Zombie is close to summer vacation and his parents were letting him do anything but he thought that they wouldn't let him so he wrote about camp because he did not want them telling the teacher because it was close to parent conferences. Then his parents made him go to camp because he wrote about camp a lot. He had to go to camp so he was trying to be mean so he would get in trouble but everything he did wrong was good.

I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Zack tried to fail all the tests so that he could not go to camp but he got an A+ on all the tests. Good thing Creepy's going! I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Zack thought camp was dangerous.

Great book for all ages

I am 11 and I still love books like this it's nice and short and at the same time perfectly long. I would reccommend this book and all the other books in the series for kids wanting a book to read in 1 hour.

I read this book just a few weeks ago and that fact that I have zero memory of the plot makes me feel that it is forgettable. I imagine it will be appealing for some elementary school students (at least that is my hope) but as an adult it didn't leave a lasting impression.

This book is weird and I wonder why Steve is a human that does not kill Zack the zombie. Creeper screaming art the top of the Ferris wheel was sad, but I'm glad that Zach helped him.
