Triple Knockout is book three in the Make Mine A Menage series by Jodi Redford. While I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, I really, really LOVED this book! It had just about everything for me that makes a book great. I think the one thing, well, one of the most important things that made this book so endearing to me was the humor. These three were so much fun. At the most unexpected times, they would throw something out there to lighten the moment. They didn’t let each other take anything too seriously. I smiled so much throughout this book. Then of course, there was the three main characters who I just fell in love with. And of course, the sexy times. Lots and lots of sexy times.
Allie Saunders has a secret, well, two of them. She has been having oh so naughty fantasies about her older brother’s two best friends, both of them, at the same time, doing oh so scandalous things to her. Allie has had boyfriends before but nothing that was really serious. Most of the fantasies she has of Van and Beau come from the romance novels she reads. She’s gotten all kinds of ideas of what the three of them could do together from those books!
Van Mitchell and Beau Colton are best friends and business partners. Neither of them fight professionally any more but they co-own a gym together, Haymakers. Van and Beau also share interest in a very specific lifestyle. They are both Doms and frequent the club, Arabesque. Only lately, Beau hasn’t been going. Both men also share deep affection for their friend, Eric’s younger sister, Allie. But they view her as a sweet woman who has no knowledge of their lifestyle choices. Plus the fact that Eric would kill them if he knew the way they really felt about his sister. So they keep Allie in the friend zone.
Allie is so tired of playing it safe, of keeping her feelings to herself. She finds out that Van and Beau have been keeping a little secret from her. One that she is very interested in exploring. So she decides that if she really wants these two, she’s going to have to go for it, and go for it she does.

Allie isn’t the only one that is keeping secrets. While both men have been lusting after Allie, they have also been lusting after each other. While Van does have experience with threesomes and with other men, Beau does not. He can’t understand these feelings he’s been having about Van. But Van is his business partner and best friend. There is no way he will jeopardize that. And bro-code says that Allie is off limits. So he is resigned to a life of denial. Until the night he and Van attend an annual Sub-For-A-Night auction at Arabesque. Who do they see up on the stage up for auction? You guessed it. And there is no way they are going to let anyone else out bid them.

It was supposed to be just one night, but there was no way these three could walk away from what they found with each other. Beau, though, still struggled with his true place in all of this.
I truly did love this book. I was so proud of Allie for putting herself out there with these two. She was just so brave. It broke my heart the way the other gym bunnies treated her and made her feel. But it didn’t deter her from her goal, winning over the two men she loved. And let’s just say that she was a very enthusiastic participant in ways to convince them! And Van and Beau, well, they both pretty much had me at hello. If this is a genre you enjoy, then I hope you’ll give this one a try. I think it’s my favorite book of Jodi’s so far!

Wow, this book took my breath away! Not only the sex scenes were out of this world, but the humor displayed by the main characters dialogues was precious. I laughed and cracked a few ribs while reading this book. It is the first time I have seen one of Jodi’s books go this far and it felt like coming home. The maturity of her writing has become increasingly better in each book and this book is the best I have read in a long time. I love all of her stories, but this one was the cherry on top of the ice cream. Perfection.
If you love countless sex scenes that will curl your toes, and a chemistry between characters that will make you want to connect with them, then this is the book for you. Don’t be afraid, have fun and enjoy the read!

Jodi Redford is THE Mistress of Dirty Talk and Queen of Kink. Her BDSM play and sex scenes are deliciously graphic and languidly seductive. Sexual tension is effectively heightened with each tantalizing word spoken, each smoldering glance, and each “beckoning erection.”
Although the actual setting of the story is ambiguous, Redford creates a world for her lusty trio in which polyamory and BDSM culture appears to be the norm. This depiction helps to fully immerse the reader in a continuous erotic headspace.
THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM…
According to the Bro Code, Beau and Van stay away primarily to keep Eric from kicking their asses. Eric is portrayed as an aggressively protective older brother. However, he doesn’t emerge as a serious plot complication. He is physically absence throughout the novel, and is more or less forgotten. When Eric finds out about his sister’s involvements with Beau and Van, his reaction is briefly explained away in the epilogue.
An entertaining, but underutilized character is brash dominatrix Mistress Willow. She makes sporadic appearance and is instantly intriguing, but her purpose to the story is unclear.

The MMC has been in love with her brothers 2 best friends forever & fantasizes about having them both. They both own a gym together, have been besties forever and both secretly pine after each other & the FMC but won’t go after her because of the “bro code” and are afraid to ruin their friendship with each other.
The FMC is sick of waiting around and starts to take drastic measures to get what she wants, especially when she realizes they want her too. She totally puts herself out there and you gotta admire her tenacity! She’s also ridiculously hilarious, I adored her and enjoyed her guys as well 🥰
Admittedly, the story is a bit more steam than story, but what story is there is good. Slightly more angsty than I prefer, however all works out in the end which kept me going in the angsty bits! 😉. But holy heck were the steamy bits SPICY *fans self*

This is a sports themed romance, menage romance, best friends romance, and bdsm romance. Allie has had a crush on her brother's best friends, Van and Beau. Van and Beau are also best friends who own a boxing gym. They treat Allie more like a sister than love interest. There is a definite sexual undercurrent running between Van and Beau. The problem is both are dom's and not willing to submit control. Neither men are willing to risk starting something with Allie. That's when Allie has to get creative to get what she wants. The explicit scenes are so very hot however all 3 are actively involved together. If you're not into MMF or MFM scenes, this book won't be for you. One of the people struggle with their sexual identity, being with a man when they haven't before. This person realizes how freeing it is once they fully submit to who they are, and their relationship. There is some witty banter too. Allie dared to dream and her dreams came true. Allie also didn't think she compared to all the "perfect" women at the gym but Allie was perfect afterall for Beau and Van. Sometimes taking the risk is worth it.

Whoo-BOY! Jodi Redford certainly knows how to bring the heat. TIMES TWO! Because Beau and Van are hottttttt and they find their perfect foil in Allie.
Actually, Allie's ability to submit so easily sort of paves the way for Beau to explore the sides of himself he's been repressing. And WOW. Yes. Okay. Good.
While Allie's learning and Beau's unlearning, Van's doing his Dom thing and easing them both into finding their boundaries and discovering themselves. The dude's a little raunchy, a lot sexy, and WAY into the three of them together. Which works because they make a smokin' triad.
If you like dirty talking heroes (GLORIOUSLY dirty talking, in my opinion) and a woman who wants to explore her sexuality with two men she trusts, this book will be right up your alley. Deliciously naughty and so much fun!

After their initial reluctance to be with Allie, once they gave in, there was pretty much no looking back. Beau was a dream and Van was irresistibly dominant. There isn’t a whole lot of plot outside their relationship building and no real angst but it was still great fun. Best part was watching Beau come to terms with his true sexuality. The way Van handled his hesitancy was perfect and Allie was the best support he could ask for. I’m sure these three will have a lifetime of laughter and love together.

This was a super steamy read about Allie and her brothers best friends. She has been crushing on them most of her life but didn't know that Van and Beau felt the same about her. From their side, they don't want to do anything to mess up their friendship with her brother Eric. Things come to a head when she learns these two are Dom's She rolls the dice at a their local club that is having an auction. Boundaries are pushed, especially once Van gets Beau to realize his feelings about Allie AND Van. Great read, I loved the characters and plot. Kept me engaged the whole time.

Triple Knockout is the 3rd in the Make Mine a Menage series. Allie has been in love with Van and Beau, her brother's best friends, forever. When she sees people she cares for find love in menage relationships, she decides to quit waiting and start to actively pursue her dream. Van and Beau have another issue to resolve - their growing attraction to each other. The ensuing tug-of-war is a fun read with tongue-in-cheek descriptions, pretty graphic sexy times - most with a kinky twist - all leading to a wonderful HEA.

2.75* if I had to rate it solely on the last few chapters I would have rated it higher but all I could think about whilst reading was that maybe I would have liked it more if it was just about Van and Beau. I think their relationship and dynamic is already enough for the story and I think Allie is just bonus. Don't get me wrong I thought she was a good character and had to laugh when she was struggling on the treadmill because I related but I just think the guys alone would have been better. I really enjoyed this story. Allie has liked her brother's best friends, Van and Beau, for most of her life and didn't realise they felt the same. Being brave and making herself vulnerable enable Beau to recognise his denied needs. Fun, steamy and lots of banter. I'm going to check out the other books in the series now!.

I feel like I haven’t read a full length novel that I loved in FOREVER!!! Beau stole my heart, Allie deserved those men more than any Heroine and Van was filthy in the most delicious way!
Zero complaints for this work of art, a pleasant surprise from Jody since the first book of hers that I read came in at 3 stars for me.

Great Erotic Read
Really liked the main characters. Very, very steamy sex scenes. Just a question-do Beau and Allie always have to obey Van? Or is there any alone time without the Dom????
I liked the auction I did know she would be part of it. I have read the authors other books and she doesn't disappoint. Recommend this book and her others.

This was a hot book. I really liked these three together. Beau and Van know that Allie is off limits but the chance come for them to her, they can't pass it up. I really enjoyed this book with the little bit of drama and HEA that it offered.

This started off with a great premise...BDSM and a group of folks...but for some reason the two MMC didn't completely gel with me, esp the one who has angst over being sub.
The FMC came across as if she wasn't experienced but had read about a lot of it...didn't really do it for me.
The sex scenes were pretty hot, but I just couldn't keep going with it. I wound up skimming most of the last of the book...others may very well like it...the author is talented in writing, but I am a bit tired of the sub who's always angsting over being sub as well as the almost virginal heroine.
