After watching Sailor Moon anime, she started drawing at the age of 7.

Influences when she was young: CLAMP (Card Card Captor Sakura, X), AMANO Kozue (Aira, Aqua), WATASE Yuu (Fushigi Yugi), SUGISAKI Yukiru (1001 Knights).

Got into the yuri genre through "Pretty Cure" (especially the chapter 8).

Strength: drawing close-up facial expressions and hair arrangement.

Weakness: drawing small pictures.

Among the sources used as inspiration for her work: watching movies, reading manga, doujinshi, erotica artwork targeted for male audience (like NARUKO Hanaharu's manga).

Her drawing tools: PC, Wacom Cintiq24, program ComicStudio, pencils.

No T.T Mei has the weight of the world on her young shoulders, and it isn't fair. I feel so bad for them both. I mean I have been spoiled for where it goes, but still (my own doing as I use the wiki pages to help me keep all the characters straight, but I don't mind). This volume is so sad. Full of information about Mei. Why she's been the way she has been. Heartfelt, and so very sad.

Sin embargo, puedo decir que la historia es muy X a mi parecer
Lo que salva por mucho y es el motivo por el que los he comprado físicamente es por los dibujos y la calidad del arte de SABURO.

oh brother freakin bLEGH!!! this is just going around in circles like this actually could have ended like 3 books ago. Mei is just getting on my nerves more and more pipe up babygirl fr. Matsuri is so caring and it just pains me to see her like so guilty and down and she just wants the best for Yuzu and doesn't know what decision that is. I love Harumi like being her older sister figure almost. Harumi not knowing about the relationship STILL is fucking crazy bc by know every body does except her and she's literally Yuzu's best friend. I would like Shirapon and Himeko to bond over the obsession with Mei and fall for each other. Not Mei congratulating her father's "conviction" oh freakin brother give me a break. I have hope that since Udagawa is the fiance, Mei might be able to speak up about her feelings for Yuzu. This is just getting really annoying to read overall

Please end it already! The last chapters were a mess. The story simply changed the vibe it had at the beginning. Now I've started to stop worrying about the characters thanks to so many appearances! And now this, really? There were enough things to work with!

Este posiblemente sea de los volúmenes más desesperantes y tristes de la historia.

Todo a en torno a la relación de Yuzu y Mei, que si bien no es pública tampoco está muy oculta. En especial para sus amigas, todas si excepción ya están enteradas de lo que sucede entre ellas dos.
Y eso deriva en algo que que para nada es positivo... El matrimonio arreglado. Y lo peor es que la mayoría de ellas esta pasando por la misma situación. Al ser hijas de una familia "noble" o de gran prestigio y tener de herencia obligatoria el negocio familiar, están obligadas a tener un matrimonio arreglado.

No puedo creer que haya pasado un año en la historia, han vivido tantas cosas y las han superado que no puedo soportar que la razón de su separación sea el "deber" con su abuelo y casarse con alguien que tanto el chico de la cafetería como Mei, no estaban de acuerdo con ello.

No puedo con ese estilo tan retrógrada de arreglar un casamiento. Mei, Himeko... Absolutamente ninguna de ellas debe vivir algo así. Y lo peor es que las bodas serán pronto y ellas son muy pequeñas para eso. Díganme que el final es diferente porque no voy a soportar que cualquiera de ellas no obtenga algo más que una vida decente y feliz.

En mi opinión Mei debió hablar con Yuzu en persona y explicarle la situación.

NO ESTOY SOPORTANDO... ¿Qué carajos fue ese final? ¿Una carta? Es la carta más emotiva de toda la historia de Citrus, incluso superó a Yuzu con el romanticismo. Pero Mei no estaba ahí, fue una maldita carta de despedida y ¡¡Mei desapareció!!

Estoy tan molesta porque esto no puede suceder así, quien haya creado la historia me va a dejar en terapia. Así que por mi salud mental espero que esto termine mejor. No puedo esperar a leer el tomo final.

As emotional as the volume was, unfortunately there's not much to say about it. The first third is pretty much Momokino and Shirapon speculating as to whether Yuzu and Mei's relationship is going to be okay, Matsuri being a sulky, moody brat, and Yuzu constantly saying how much she loves Mei and is so happy being with her. The last third was strong and I won't deny reading Mei's farewell letter to Yuzu didn't give me a good dose of the feels, but that's about it. This volume wasn't bad, but there's just not a lot going on in it. Not bad, but not that strong considering it's the second to last volume. What will the finale have in store for me?

Considering how horny the last volume was, this one was definitely a disappointment and a bummer. Mei is once again stifled by her sense of family duty, her (new) impending betrothal to a (more worthy?) high society man and cannot bring herself to reciprocate Yuzu's feelings. It's like the mangaka hit the big "reset" button and we're back at square one only with Yuzu being completely heartbroken. Mei can't even find the courage to tell Yuzu in person, lets her know via handwritten letter and moves out. Mei realizes in a sense she's just been stringing Yuzu along, that their relationship can't really go anywhere. All in all a very sad volume.

AAAAAAAAAH, AYUDA, ¿¿QUÉ ESTÁ PASANDO??

No puedo creer todo este final. Sé que es sólo el Tomo 9 y que falta uno más, pero literalmente, siempre termino spoileándome el final (verdadero) en Pinterest u otros lugares... PERO NO SABÍA QUE IBA A COSTAR TANTO LLEGAR HASTA AHÍ.

No sé cómo, en un par de páginas más, vamos a tener el final– literalmente quedé súper triste con esos últimos dos capítulos, y peor aún con el capítulo final.

¿Por qué le doy 5 estrellas si es tan triste? PORQUE EL AMOR LO PUEDE TODO– y, también, porque realmente me enamoré de este tomo, de la determinación de Yuzu y de la tristeza de Mei (sonó feo, pero es verdad)

Sekizinci cilde kadar her şey iyi güzelken, mangakanın sona bu kadar yaklaşmışken her şeyi niye mahvetmeye çalıştığı hakkında hiçbir fikrim yok.

Mei'nin saçma suskunluğu işleri bu kadar ileri götürmemeliydi, konu bu kadar sapmamalıydı.

Son derece güzel ve eğlenceli olan bir mangayı böyle saçma bir entrikaya dönüştürmek saçma bir hareketti.

Bu ciltten nefret ettim. Muhtemelen mangadan da nefret edeceğim. Sadece sonunda ne olacağını öğrenmek için son cildi de okuyacağım.

Apa, se puso interesante POR FIN. Podría decir que por fin entiendo el por qué de la forma de ser de Mei, pero no, no puedo, porque no me parece justificable. Es este punto, la historia se convirtió en esas que, si hubiera buena comunicación entre las protagonistas desde el principio, no habría historia porque no habría trama. Y es triste, porque ya no estoy para este tipo de historias.
Aunque lo de Mei no es justificable, sí sentí un poco de pena de que tenga que estar impuesta a hacer algo que no desea y hasta va contra su naturaleza.

Finally we got to see the truth feelings of Mei to Yuzu, but unfortunately that was the first and last time that Mei talked about her feelings openly with Yuzu, and it was through a letter.
I'm so sad that arranged marriages still exist, and that this couple has to be affected by that.
I hope that in the next (and sadly last) volume everything gets solved and they have a happy ending because I loved this story and a sad ending would be cool but will destroy me so.

I am so glad I did not read this volume until I had volume 10 in my possession. My heart is extremely heavy and beyond sad as I finished this one. Their entire journey has been an emotional rollercoaster but the ending of this one... way to rip my heart out, stomp on it repeatedly then tear it into tiny pieces. Hoping it gets better in 10 because my heart is really hurting right now.

One of the strongest in the series. We are finally getting Mei's perspective and the fan-service is minimal. I like how Mei's character has evolved over the past few books. Despite my many gripes, Saburouta has been handling the subtext well.

Let's see if this rollercoaster sticks the landing - onto volume 10.

Why?! Why did she have to do that? She and Yuzu were doing so well and now thanks to her Grandfather, Mei has to choose the family name over her beloved Yuzu. Yes I know they're step-sisters, but they technically aren't blood. They can eventually marry! 😭
