Stacy Claflin writes about complex women overcoming incredible odds. Whether it's her Gone trilogy of psychological thrillers, her ongoing Transformed paranormal saga, or her Seaside Hunters sweet romance series, Stacy's three-dimensional heroines shine through.

Decades after she wrote her first stories on construction paper and years after typing on an inherited green screen computer that weighed half a ton, Stacy realized her dream of becoming a full-time author.

When she's not busy writing or educating her kids from home, Stacy enjoys watching TV shows like Supernatural, Pretty Little Liars, and Once Upon a Time.

Dex - This story starts eleven years after the short story Monsters ends (one of two prequels to Dex). A well written, fast paced, action filled story filled with zombies, of course, but there's a twist or two with the zombies. The characters are developed and probably will grow as the series continues. I would have handled the doctors scenario a little differently - need information. 5*

Monsters, a short story about Dex as an 11-year-old is in Tiny Bites, a collection of short stories by Ms. Claflin. 5*

Tiny Bites - A collection of short stories that are well written, interesting and cover several genre. Many of the stories are standalones that accompany series, such as the Gone Trilogy, Transformed Series and the Seaside Hunters. Monsters is the second prequel to Dex, a new book. There are more stories not mentioned here. 5*

Like all books written by Ms. Claflin, these are worth reading, even though I read several of the series before reading Tiny Bites.

Hard to rate!

I only have it three stars because of the content I truly had no interest in reading. Vampires are not something I find an interest in reading about. The chapters removed from home were excellent reading material. It is always nice to see other sides of the characters.

Summaries

Excerpts from several of her books. Interesting scenarios of the Gone Trilogy that were interesting. The remaining were from books I had not read.

I have been provided with a copy of Tiny Bites: A Multi-Genre Collection by the author for an impartial review. This book is a group of short stories from the Transformed series, Gone series, the Seaside Hunters, Other World stories, and some bonus content. Included in the Transformed series are the following titles A Long Time Coming, The Orders, The Fielding, The Volunteer, Eaten by Wolves, and Returned. In the Gone series the short stories are Researching, Desperate, and A Very Dysfunctional Christmas. The Seaside Hunters short stories include Seaside Beginnings, Seaside Memories, and Seaside Treasures. The Other Worlds short story are the Monsters, Wanderers, Terra Weaver, and Missing Ivy. I’ll be updating this book review as I finish each title.

The Transformed Series:

A Long Time Coming

This short story is a part of the Transformed series and can be read anytime throughout the series without any confusion. This short story is a prequel of sorts that allows you to see Cliff before he sees Alexis again in Deception. It shows you some of what he felt and went through during that time away from Alexis. This short story is a really easy and short read and can be read in one sitting. I really enjoyed getting to see more of Cliff’s side of it even though it is an extremely short look. I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

The Orders

This short story is a part of the Transformed series and can be read anytime throughout the series without any confusion. In this short story we find out how Alexis came to live with her human parents and how Mattie had to come up with this difficult decision. I really enjoyed getting to read this and it went by really quickly.

Weird

This book is nothing like I thought. I would never have brought it. It has a lot about vampires which I am not into. I thought it would give me more on the Hunters not so. Don't waste your money
