Meet special agent Zane Gordon following on the footsteps of his father working for the FBI.
John Dutton high school senior & captain of a basketball team seems to have everything going for him, until he witnesses his uncle's murder.
The murder was committed by a drugs cartel sending a message. John is forced to go on the run, he finds some people that he can trust & this leads him to agent Gordon.
This was a fast paced story with plenty of twists keeping the reader enthralled, even after finishing it I'm asking myself questions about who was it, when was it though I'm going to have to wait for book 2.
A fantastic start to a new series revolving around agent Gordon, high enjoyable and recommended read.

Wow!!! What an action packed and exhilarating read. So different from their other books. Puts me in mind of Tess Gerritsen novels. Love that the story is set in current events. Very well researched regarding the opioid crisis. I honestly learned several new words. And it doesn't hurt that Zane Gordon is one hot FBI Agent. Looking forward to the next Zane book.

December 28, 2018A story-line that pulls you in and takes you on a roller-coaster of intrigue, suspense and terror. The drug market is very real and its tentacles are global. Special agent Zane Gordon, FBI, has experience with major drug lords and the power they wield and the extent they will go to protect their underworld. Zane Gordon fights to protect those close to him, friends and fellow law enforcement that are affected or threatened by the seedy criminal underworld. Definitely a MUST READ.

I love the story. It has the suspense intrigue, and action of a James Patterson story. The only negative thing I found was the appearance of a political agenda.

A fast pace suspense novel that drives home the violence of drug syndicates. No one is safe, not even a young teenager in this race for survival.
Zane Gordon has a battle on his hands but a fatal disaster and a mole in the FBI make his task even more difficult.

Truth Untold - 4 Stars!
This story kept me riveted from the first page. Suspenseful, full of action, fear, loss and intrigue. All together an amazing and intriguing book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A great start to a new series by Isabel James.

A page turner
A new book from Isabel James immediately drew my attention. This book was full of action, deception, and corruption- a definite page turner. In a world of politics and drugs this story draws you in from the get go. I look forward to more from Ms. James.

This book definitely had me in the edge of my seat. So many times I wanted I read ahead to see what was going to happen. FBI agent Zane Gordon has had a connection with major drug lords for as long as he can remember. He will do all he can to protect those close to him and effected by these criminals. Can’t wait for the next one. A definite must read.
