Werewolves, witches, and hybrids born of both species…

With the vampires having been wiped out, it’s only a matter of time before the wolves are next, which is why I am being sent to the Virginia pack to find a mate. Witches and wolves haven’t mated in hundreds of years, but the Order has demanded that all unattached witches be sent to the packs in the desperate hope that maybe a few of them will find their mates among the wolves there.

The Order, our governing body, is supposed to remain neutral and keep our kind in check so we remain a secret from the humans, and to ensure the balance of the earth is maintained. But, what if the Order is up to something much more sinister? What if they are the real reason the balance is off and the wolves are dying out?

It’s up to Jasmine and her mates to discover the truth and figure out just how to restore the balance.

***This story features polyamory, in the form of a female with two mates. This story also contains mention of M/M involvement. Recommended for readers over 18 years. Contains sex scenes and coarse language***

This book is the first in a trilogy.

I think this just became one of the WORST books I’ve read all year. I hated everything from the story to the characters to even the writing itself. Whew!

Wow! From the first chapter I was so pulled into the story I think the world could have ended and I would not have noticed

Exciting, steamy and romantic I connected to Jasmine, the fiesty strong heroine, from the get go and I fell in love with the guys immediately. The story is beautifully paced, with twists and turns you don’t see coming. It made me run the gamut of emotions, I laughed, i was worried fir the characters, it gave me the feels and kept me on the edge of my seat

This is a fantastic piece of writing, I absolutely love the storyline and really enjoyed reading the book. I am beyond excited fir book two

This book starts out okay. I start out liking the mc and the plot seems interesting. And then somewhere around the mid point I started to dislike it. The mc isn't very likable and she has mood swings that could give a person whiplash. At points the whole thing seems rushed and the writing suffers. Almost like the author was running out of time but still had to hit points she wanted to. Its frustrating to read at times because one second the mc is pissed..the next page she is lovey dovey and everything is golden again. Wouldn't be so bad, but I feel that towards the end of the book this sorta thing happens a lot. This series has potential though.

Jasmine did not win the lottery when it comes to mothers. Her mother never wanted her and made that clear from her earliest memories. She was forced to keep her and then later paid to be her mother by The Order, the governing body of witches, werewolves, and the now-extinct vampires because The Order sensed magic in her. So 'mom' kept her but didn't bother with any of the duties of motherhood since that would have interfered with the constant partying and her long line of men. As soon as Jasmine was of legal age, she moved out and lived a mostly solitary existence until The Order demanded that she visit the endangered werewolf packs to see if she was a mate to any of the wolves. Once there Jasmine discovers more than just a mate. She also discovers that The Order may not be what it seems. Not only are the wolves endangered but Jasmine may be as well.

I loved this book. The characters are well-developed, the connections are legitimate, and the mystery and danger surrounding The Order are intriguing. There are so many surprises, minor and major and so many unknown dangers. It's thrilling. But the biggest draw to the book is the trio, Jas, Benji, and Liam (and Josh). Jasmine is like an unpolished gem. I feel that there is so much to uncover with her. I look for her to blossom in the next book, both in power and as a female. Benji and Liam are powerful, sexy Alphas. Josh was the easiest to connect to. The friendship and protectiveness he offered up so easily endeared him to me. These characters draw you in, in good and bad ways. I was so caught up in my emotions at times I am sure I came across as a crazy lady. The story picks up intensity as it goes along and once you reach the point of no return in the final chapters, you are so deeply entrenched in Jasmine's story that there is no putting this book down. You will be left wanting the next book immediately. Like a screaming for the author to write faster wanting. It's an addictive book. More, please!!

Worst writing in a while

This was written like a formula was followed, very thing 1 happend and person A had a certain reaction followed by expository dialogue that was stilted and unnatural. There was no natural flow, there was an info dump for world building, the relationships were one dimensional and there was no character development. This was a complete waste of time for a plot that's been overdone by better authors.

I really enjoyed this book. More than I thought that I would. Jasmine is a witch with a witch(but with a b) of a mother. She finally finds a reason to escape when the council decides to send her to the two remaining wolf packs to see if she can find a mate. The wolves are dying out. With the vampires all but gone, the council doesn't want the same for the wolves. Or so they say. Once Jasmine gets to the first pack though, she's met with some interesting surprises. First, she runs across someone from her past. Second, the wolves have been dealing with some serious issues. She decides to help them out and learns more than she probably wanted to. She finds herself in a world of trouble trying to protect those close to her.

This book was a little bit of a slow start but once the story really got rolling, man did it keep on rolling. The twists and turns that are thrown at you are just....wow. I thought I had it figured out and then BAM, she threw that curve ball in there toward the end. Then once you get to the end, oh I was so mad. I'm seriously biting my nails while waiting on the next book now. I'm so worried about what's going to happen.

I wasn't always happy with the flow of the writing but the story was so good and had me so captivated that it didn't even matter anymore.

This book is so amazing that I read it in one day. Jasmine what can I say this kick ass witch with deity like powers. Jasmine has had a tough life growing up with a mother who is extremely jealous of her or has a deep seeded hatred or both for her daughter. Jasmine does not trust anyone especially the Order. The Order has total control over the witches, wolves and vampires but for their own evil purposes. The Order has decided that Jasmine should seek out the wolves to possibly find a mate when the unthinkable happens (no spoilers read the book). Jasmine has one of the toughest decision of her life to make that could spell the end of her or give her infinite happiness but it comes with a price. The characters are loveable and relatable. I am going to start reading book two as soon as i leave this review. Get the book you will not be disappointed.

This book came as a complete surprise and delight. The concept sounded interesting, and the execution of it was masterful. I was so pleased and blown away by this book. The characters are well developed, flawed and real, with a strength that has you rooting for them the entire way. The story is engaging and well-paced, and now I'm itching for book two in a big way. I thought the multiple mates element was a nice touch and love how that was handled throughout the story, although I won't give anything away. Great characters, excellent plot, and to top it off, this book is all kinds of steamy. Absolutely loved it!

Jasmine just wanted to be left alone but The Order sent her mom to tell her that it's her turn to go to a pack to see if she is in meet to one of the wolves. Wolves are slowly dying out and no one knows why so the order is ordering witches to go to each pack to see if they can find a mate. Jasmine didn't expect to see Benji a man from her past and she didn't expect a pull towards Liam. But something is going on witches are attacking the packs and are using dark magic forbidden magic. Jasmine wants to help but they have to be careful because The Order can't find out how truly strong she really is. She had a bad feeling but no one would listen and they were betrayed.

Wow....This is a fantastic first book in this new series by this super talented author! I absolutely love Jasmine, she is super powerful, independent and not afraid to stand up for herself. Her two mates are very interesting and so different...Benji was my favourite out of them both, he is truly committed to Jas, and then there is Liam and I liked his character too but at timed I just wanted to slap him! And don’t get me started on that b#tch Neira or Jas’s Mum..I want to punch both of them!! I cannot wait for book 2 and to see Jas take out Neira and sort out her mates!! Highly recommended!!

I really like this story, witches, wolves, hybrids, so awesome! Jasmine the MC is so strong not only with magic but mentally and emotionally. She has the strength to fight her own battles and battles threatening the wolves too, but also has the great support of the wolf pack if she needs it. She fights for what she believes is right and fights against what is threatening to the ones she loves. I think there is something in this book that everyone could kind of relate to one way or another. I can not wait for book 2.

I downloaded The Order as a free ebook from Amazon. I really wanted to like this book, as the blurb was really interesting, but I soon grew tired of cliches, smirks (43 of them, even once during a BJ--still haven't figured out the logistics for that one), and the over-explanations/redundancies which started to pull me out of the read. The protagonist, Jasmine, makes odd leaps of logic with little evidence, which helps the story progress, but weaken the story line. I finished the story, but I have no interest in continuing. Disappointed, but for a free read, I can't complain too much.

I was thrilled to get my hands on this book! Wasn’t sure what to expect but holy hotness it was amazing.

Well written, fast (but not rushed) story progression and wonderfully developed characters.

Can’t wait to see what happens with Jasmine, her mates and the order. Very excited to see how a minor character grows in the next given that explosive ending!

If you are looking for a hot, fun read then you won’t be disappointed!

DNF

Way too much info being dumped. Every scene introduces a new "past" character, or a new twist gets brought up. I guess it's supposed to add depth, but really, it doesn't. Everything seems muddled, and I don't understand what the plot really is past the attacks, vampire history, and manage build up.

It also contains M/M, which I wish I had known prior to starting. Though I'm not a fan of it,some readers enjoy it.

No major grammatical errors, so.... props.

Great new read from a new author!

This is the first book released by new author Jaimi Wilson and it was a success. Great storyline, great characters and unexpected twists.

The ending left me with so many questions that I can't wait to get answers to in book 2!

Definitely recommend you to give it a try!

Loved it and loved Jasmine. That is one witch that no one should mess with. Even though she has a mother from hell, she is such a wonderful person. Just don’t threaten what is hers. Add in two alphas that may just bring her to her knees in a very good way and you have a very hot romance with action and a kick butt heroine. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Lots of inconsistencies

This book has one of those story lines that keeps you entirely captivated....unfortunately there are so many inconsistencies and constant repetitive ramblings that it became distracting to a point of not wanting to keep reading. I highly suggest this author hire a decent content editor as well as a few experienced beta readers for the next book.

Pretty Good

A lot of FMCs will do stupid stuff that I completely disagree with. Such as immediately forgiving any stupidity of the men or refusing to talk out misunderstandings. While she definitely did stupid stuff, she made so many choices that I thought were RIGHT.

2-3 Stars

Two to Three Stars The book ended in a spot that I wang to continue to the next one even though there were several times I almost DNF’d. Everything felt rushed and the main characters were a little too dramatic to connect with.
