Dan fought hard to win the throne. He’ll need to fight even harder to keep it.
When two armies descend upon the Wildervast, Dan must gather a barbarian horde to defend his lands, his people, and his wives. Meanwhile, an artifact of great power rekindles an ancient conflict within his own fortress. Then, as war rages within and without, the wicked, all-powerful succubus queen threatens to replace Dan’s crown with a slave collar.
With staggering challenges, fiery new wives, and everything on the line, Dan the Warlord is the epic conclusion of the Gold, Girls, and Glory series.
Warning: Dan the Warlord is an over-the-top adventure novel intended for readers 18 and older. It includes explicit sex, graphic violence, a harem of gorgeous ass-kicking girls, an extremely evil artifact, horny monster girls, a horde of foul-mouthed barbarians, and a succubus queen bent on making Dan her pet. Read at your own risk.
There were some parts in the middle that were slow, but overall I loved how this ended. Now I just wish it wasn't over. I can't help but think a following series will be the tale of Holly and Dan's son. I hope before then though we could at least get a short story epilogue of Dan dealing with his many wives, kids, and maybe a horde of Monster girls seeking his "seed", or maybe the king seeking vengeance. Your comment that this is not the end of this universe is great, yet still sad to reach the end of a tale.
The series comes hard and strong to an epic finish, sliding back to its Harem roots. In a combination of collegiate fantasy, action, humor, and raw sex appeal, Dan manages to do the impossible in very creative ways. Nicely done.
I liked this series. At times I felt the protagonist was a bit dumb but it fit considering his stats. All in all this was a fun experience that I enjoyed immensely.
I don't know if I could have dreamed up a more perfect conclusion. Non stop action, just the right amount of intrigue. And most of the characters getting some scene time. Awesome..... But I need MORE!!!!!!!!!
I loved every book in the series, and this was no exception. Each book brought a different perspective, a different tale to tell. The material wasn’t repetitive, it stayed fresh and interesting. I can’t wait for the next series Hondo has to offer.
Best one of the series thus far. Loved this series and hope to read more from this author. And really hope that he comes back to this series because I loved Dan and company.
Yes, yes and freaking yes. This is the series that introduced me to Harem Gamelit genre and it was so awesome. This book satisfied my expectations with beyond awesomeness. As always the writing is quirky and fun Dan & all his wife's we're awesome. And the solving the problem with the inner wives is so cool. Oh I am going to miss this series. Also, I am looking forward to listening these books on Audible. Peace out and Thank you Hondo Jinx!
Great work Hondo Jinx show how talented and skilled Author he is with this book and this series if you looking for a books with high adventure gold girls and glory this is the book for you I enjoyed it greatly and I just got my hands on the Audible copy of Dan the Barbarian the first book of this series so what can I say about this book I love this book from start to finish the characters are well written and you start to cheer for our Hero Dan. It's a must to buy 12 out of 10 stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆...
This was a really fun story to read. In the end Dan has gotten so OP, that there is not much more left for the character to do. A good place to end the series, but it’s always sad to get to the end of a good series you enjoyed reading. I hope Hondo can capture my imagination again with a new storyline and characters I can barrack for.
Dan is a tough barbarian with a harem of wives. He also has problems with more than one army coming to take what is his. Chaos ensues as as Dan does not give up, but gets stronger. I like the action and humor. The characters are strong, compelling, and well written. I enjoyed reading this book.
Ok I loved this series and am sad that it's over. Overall it was fun to read and enjoyable. The MC was interesting and learned from his mistakes. The supporting characters where engaging and important to the story.
Great ending for the series, Dan actually grew into his role as leader and protector, the thing with the succubus queen altough short was well developed (I will still call bullshit on it but oh well), It was nice to see some characters that we missed in the last book again. If I have something to complain about the book would be the whole debacable with the discord in the harem I won't deny Thelia fault at it but Holly really failed as the first wife in my eyes. For the rest it was a really good book, it delivered what it promised, and the last orgy was awsome, heck some author should learn from that scene alone.
This was a great conclusion to the series. I felt that the story did a great job of finishing off the main plot and all of the other little tidbits. I liked that the story managed to stay true and not get distracted in a few areas. They were areas that some authors tend to get too detailed and sidetracked with. Overall,I think the series is awesome and the new series is looking even more promising. Great job!
i liked it a lot and i hope there are more books in the series, i'm also kinda suprised dan hasnt managed to level up very much especially given his kindom war group wiped out the oposition seems a bit of an oversight, buit since wulfgar has returned to the main storyline theres always hope for a lot more :)
Thanks for your hard work.I enjoyed reading this series its light and fun.your description of events was spot on. I o oh ask for more in the future .a loyal reader thanks for entertaining me so happy I took the chance and found a gem.this will not work for all but not was it a tale.have a good day sir.Till can returns good day sir.;)
I must have read a thousand books in this last year. A little misleading in that many were unreadable. However, this series was wonderful. I have given it 4 stars because we give 5 stars out of habit without it being actually earned. 4 stars IS a great rating, one short of a Hemingway or Sinclair. Congrats, I really loved it.
Lots of action. Liked how Dan stood up for Agetha. Lots of wives by the end. A bit too many but well earned. Just a bit too easy to deal with Duke of Pittsburgh. Otherwise great series. I liked Dan had moments of reflection and has learned throughout the series. I would recommend the book to others
I loved this continuation of the story. Dan went all Conan on those Dukes. He has become a full fledged Barbarian. Also love how the Succubus was all like I will make you my slave. He essentially is like "Aye hold me ale.. I have a Succubus to seduce!" Felt bad for poor Parus =( poor dead bastard he didn't deserve to go out like that.
I never would have imagined finding a connection with a barbarian. Hondo has done an amazing job building characters that are likeable dynamic and a whole lot of crazy. I definitely recommend this author and plan to read whatever he puts out. Spoiler... . . . . .
You have to read all the books; the first book seemed a bit hokey at first, but by the end, it read like a good d&d game would. The remaining books in the series build on the initial very well, with excellent cohesion
He will set up perfectly good plots and subplots and then he drops them faster then a dragon breathed fire. I think this is the last book in the series and so much was dropped. It's not a bad book just frustrating.
I finished power mage 3 and then found these, great series, really enjoy this authors work and already pre-ordered power mage 4. Waiting now for dan 5.
