Good introduction on devops and CICD, with an addon on continuous updates, relevant in IoT and Mobile use cases.

My general feeling was that the book was a bit to high level and one has to wait until the final chapter 5 until rubber hits the road.

Good introduction for people not into DevOps and CICD yet, however.

I found this book too abstract to be useful. It was like an extended definition of the coined term "liquid software" without any real practical or useful insights.

IMHO this book is way too abstract and the only useful chapter for me is chapter five, where the writers show us some techniques for continuous updates.

The idea of the book is really good. But unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. I thought there will be some sort of advise, scheme, blueprint probably, but what you've got instead is metaphysical explaining of the CICD, its usefulness, and the point that every successful company/project should and must have it. Not worth the time to read it.
