Here is my honest review of this book.

【Thumbs up👍】
◽ Cover is dull but could have been designed better. Title made me curious to read.
◽ Language is simple, narration is okay but needs improvement at various places.
◽ Characters are well defined but the females have a more significant symbol in this novella.
◽The bonding of Ahira and Deerji is one of the best thing I enjoyed here.

【Thumbs down👎】
◽ for me the book is nothing new or surprising and in few places I felt little confused.
Overall, it's a short but good read.

Book Title: Ahira - The battle of princess and queen
Author: Dhruvv Anand
Format: Kindle

Book Title:
The title of the book, ' Ahira ' is novel. From the tagline of the book, it is understood that the book is about a princess named Ahira.

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is a simple drawing of a princess's tiara and a Queen's crown. Though it aptly explains the title it is not very attractive.

Plot:
What if a kingdom's queen wants her primary son to tie a nuptial knot with its enemy kingdom's princess?

Will the people of either of the lands accept the decision?

How far does any king give his daughter the freedom to choose her own life partner?

How will a to be sworn king combat mentally, physically and politically with the enemy kingdom's authorities?

How will an opportunist and a backstabber in the disguise if the most loyal minister to the prince plan to grab the throne?

Welcome to the lands of Mahiruha and Vishard and the beautiful take of love and war of Prince of Mahiruha Dheerji and Princess of Vishard. To know the answers for the above grab a copy and experience it.

What I like:
1. The story emphasizes on woman's empowerment and the emotional balance.
2. The prowess of the princess Ahira is explained in a very laudable manner.
3. The emotions between a father and a daughter, a brother and a sister, a king and his subordinate are very well shown.
4. The dutiful characterisation of Baanshi with a mix of wicked thoughts is well written.
5. The names of characters and kingdoms are interesting.

What I didn't like:
The story is engaging and interesting. There are no flaws of any kind to be pointed.

Characters:

The characters introduced at every stage of the story are very well scripted. Dheerji, the young king has shades of a great king, a good husband, and a strong warrior. Likewise, the character of Ahira is beautifully crafted.

Narration:
The story has an interesting narration with parallel ardor in every scene. Though there are few chapters, the story contains a lot of zest.

Language and Grammar:
Good language and Grammar are observed.

My Final Verdict:
An enticing read!

Book Title: 4/5
Book Cover: 2/5
Plot: 4/5
Characters: 4/5
Narration: 5/5
Language and Grammar: 4/5

I always found it not cool to be called a princess, I wanted to be a queen. Take care of my people and rule my world. Yeaps I don't want much.
Coming back to the book, it's really a cool read. The characters are weaved in an amazing way. And the author jumps right into the heart of things without much ado. For a second I was like may be I am reading book 2 and with my luck it's so possible but by page two I didn't care. I really enjoyed the book. And this time around I timed myself too. I finished it under 15 minutes.
Story flow was nice but it's a short story so but obviously you are left wanting more.
Wonder if some more stories are coming up!!!
Ps the cover is very simple too simple if you ask me.

“The ones who take decisions should have faith in them till their last breath,” Ahira

This is the story of a Princess, who wants to take control of her own life, who wants to take her own decisions. This is the story of a precious Princess turning into a spirited Queen.

The narration was good and so were the characters, the descriptions were beautiful. The language was simple and the pace was kind of okay. And the portrayal of a Princess turning into a Queen was vividly described. This was a good and quick read.

This was one phenomenal read. I loved the way the story was narrated and more than that how each character gained it's own importance. It was splendid. Though it was just a short tale, it had it's own significance and it's own way to make us tied up with the tale. Brilliant work!! Any age group could pick this tale, as it would teach various morals.

For me this book is actually in between 2.5 and 3

A short 32 page read of a free spirited princess Ahira from the kingdom of Vishard , whose destiny took a different path when she got married to King of Mahiruha , their rival kingdom.
There is nothing much to talk about the plot as it is all about her battle to save her kingdom.
The Book didnt have a cover picture and the title somewhat didnt click with the plot.
The Starting of the story was very descriptive, an Indian tales of King, Battle field, Revenge and henceforth.
The narration from different characters confused me in understanding the story.
Also Ahira being the main character, her part was less compared to the other side characters.

Talking about the cover and the title first, personally I don't liked the cover and it doesn't go with the title too. Secondly, the language used was simple, good for beginners. Coming to the plot of the story, its amazing new and unique plot I came across, but on the other hand the story, description, working on charcter could be more better.Otherwise, language and the thinking of the author is good while working on the story.

A short and intriguing story of self-respect, battles, tricks and of compelling characters like Ahira and Dheerji.

Ahira is the princess of the kingdom, Vishard and Dheerji the King of Mahiruha. Being the rival kingdoms since past, a union between them was the last possibility but the circumstances made that happen.

“From sitting by the side of my mother’s feet to coming here for welcoming your daughter’s feet in my kingdom, I am Dheerji from Mahiruha.”

And how their affiliation is opposed by everyone, not only by their families but also by the kingdoms, is very interesting to read. The way they rise above all and win the hearts of everyone in the story (and the ones reading it too) adds to appeal of the story.

“Genius is who knows when is the right time to take the right step.” Queen Ahira by unrolling her second finger said, “A Machiavellian is who just takes the step and it becomes right for everyone else.”

I was fascinated by the very beginning of the story. It has a great visual start which instantly captivates you.

Then, she slowly opened her light brown coloured eyes. She had long and heavy black hair, braided in a beautiful way, and she was wearing a white pyjami suit. Maasaii looked at the maids in the hall and they pulled the curtains sideways to let the sunlight enter in the hall. The sun rays were directed at the point where she was standing, which made her beautiful light skin tone to shine brightly.

Earlier I was under the contemplation that what a 38 page of story would behold for me, for I was of the lot who read mostly 300+ pages. But then when I actually completed reading this one, the satisfaction which I feel after reading a gigantic novel compared to this, WAS THE EXACT SAME.

“When I fell weak, you supported me, my queen. I am not as strong as you. If you will fall weak, then I don’t know the way to handle you but I know how to break down with you. So, please don’t fall weak.”

You read those line? Ah my poor heart. How can I not fall for such a character like Dheerji, he’s quite something. You’ll understand once you read.

I will definitely recommend this book to all. Its a quick read hardly takes an hour, give it a chance and spread a word about this book with your friends.

Review:
The story is superbly written. It is about a princess who marries into kingdom of hurdles and becomes the queen but this is not without difficulties too. The author has a great eye for details and this can be seen when you read the book. The characters are extremely well written. Each character has a quality of its own, a role to play and is dynamic. Each of the character adds to the beauty of the story. But the main credit of the story should be given none other than the author who has written the story very well. And it is so well that you do not want to story to end. The language in which the story is written is fluid and easy to understand. It strikes a chord with the readers heart. If anyone who is looking for a short read must without doubt consider this one.

Price - 50

Format - Kindle

Book length - 38

Amazon - https://amzn.to/2TZw7oB

Cover - The cover of the book is simple yet elegant . It is black and white in colour which I found ironic to the tittle as the life of princess is always Royal and full of colours but the cover is just opposite to it .

Title - The tittle of the book "Ahira" battle of a princess and queen has a power to attract the readers .Ahira is a story of a princess, who wants to take her own life’s decision in every sphere of life and when it comes to her marriage, she wants someone as great as her own father but the prophecy says that only one great man will stay alive to be there with her. The destiny is being written down and her journey from being a precious princess to a spirited queen will lead to the greatest battle of her life in the armored shadow of Dheerji.

My verdict - Honestly I got attracted by the title of the book and it is a very short of less than an hour  and it is worth it . The language is breeze and narration is powerful . The soul of the story is its character and the author has steal the mind by the characters . It very thoughtful and deep . The story mainly revolves around Ahira and how destiny turns her life upside down and how she very bravely fight with it and shines . You will enjoy the story because when we were kids we loved to listen the story of 'Raja' and 'Rani' and I felt this story was a tribute to the grandma's stories .

I recommend everyone to read this book and you will never regret  and I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars .

Ahira is a journey of a girl from being princess to a queen. Ahira is a princess of Vishard who will soon become Queen of another kingdom by marrying a King. Dheerji is a King of Mahiruha whose mother is too sick and she wants her son to get married soon so that the kingdom gets a Queen in absence of her. But Dheerji's family want the kingdom and they will go to any limits to achieve it. Is Ahira the Queen that Mahiruha needs? But how Dheerji and Ahira will get married when their kingdoms are the enemies of each other from decades?

Review-

It is a short story of Ahira that how she developed herself from princess to Queen. But this is also the story of Dheerji that how he fulfills the last wish of his mother and tackles all the greedy relatives who just wants the kingdom.

Characters are very interesting. Apart from Ahira and Dheerji my favorite character was Baanshi because his character was always on edge. You can never decide which side he is on.

Pace of the story is fast with proper description. But I felt narration was not that great. Some scenes were confusing because author was describing two different scenarios at the same time.

I wish there were more action scenes but the limited action scenes were also properly described. It is an interesting read.

Ahira - The battle of Princess and Queen is a short story based on the two kingdoms, 'Mahiruha' and its rival 'Vishard'.

Queen Indali, the Queen of Mahiruha, is living her last few days. She wishes to see a new Queen of Mahiruha for she fears that after her death, the entire kingdom would be broken into several small kingdoms and thus asks her son, Dheerji, to marry someone.

Baanshi suggests Dheerji to marry Ahira, the princess of their rival kingdom. The story moves forward where Dheerji visits Vishard and comes back with Ahira as its new Queen.

Upon arrival, Ahira faces certain opposition from its own people. They refuse to accept her as their new Queen, and then begins the quest to win trust of its own people. Will she win the trust of its own people? Will she become the Queen of Mahiruha? All such questions makes this book an interesting read.

Although by the end of story, for avid reader it becomes predictable. The cover is beautiful but simple. I feel it could have been better.

The storytelling and the story makes it an interesting read. Language is lucid and the plots are well crafted. I found the names quite unique. Being a short read, it is easy to finish it within an hour.

The book Ahira is a refreshing read and is a different take from the general romance stories.
The title goes with the book and so the cover.
A short but crispy one it will make you turn the pages.
Character portrayal has been given utmost importance, as also the plot building.
This short story will win your heart. It's one of the rare stories that feel complete. The right amount of mystery is like a cherry on the top.
The last time I read a short story was maybe 3 to 4 years back. So when I got a chance to explore this form I grabbed it. And I must say I am not at all disappointed!
Do I recommend it? 😎

Ahira the Story of a queen!

The best thing about a short story is that it's good for everyone, whether a enthusiastic reader or someone who wants to start reading!
But for a short story it's very important to make an impact on the reader and that's why I think it very tough to write a worthy short story...
Well this one was not but still I'll give it approx 4 stars (3.6 exactly) as there are things which I liked much like the relation and love nicely told and well thought , the plot was not indulging But the good story line covers that. it is a good book to read.

It's a very short story, like only 38 pages and then also okay narration and story telling is not something we like... If more editing work was done and few things were considered before publishing it would have been better, still I guess the book is a good recommendation for beginners...
I gave it four stars just because of things. I like, but if I consider detailed aspects like grammar, narration and overall concept then sorry it would be 3 stars, that's why I'm not recommending this to one who want a book which makes then feel that "this was worthy to read".

Title: 4/5
Blurb: 3.5/5

Plot: 4/5

Final Rating: 4/5

The cover is made in a very simplistic design. There are 3 Objects, 2 Crowns, a King's Crown, a Queen's Crown and a Sword entagled in some leaves.

It's quite an title for such a short story of the princess of Vishard, "Ahira".

The blurb of the book describes the basis and the plot of the novel very well.

The Story is quite unique and gripping with a variety of choices, hardships, sacrifice and dilemmas.

The story is about 2 kingdoms who were pure rivalry to each other - Mahirura & Vishard. It is the story of the princess of Vishard - "Ahira" and the prince of Mahirura "Dheer ji". Soon after their marriage, people of Vishard denies Ahira of her rights. Read the novel to know more. It's an half hour read.

The characterization is really good. The narration is equally good. The language is quite simple and thus helps a reader connect with the story better.

If you like reading stories which are mythological or historical in nature, this is a must read for you.

Looking forward to read more from the Author.

Character development is really good.

The entire book is about love, power, betrayal and hate.

The storyline is a bit different and I really liked it.

It’s very interesting and keeps you stick to the story till the very end.

Very good narration with simple and lucid language used.

The cover page could have been a bit improved.

Ahira is a period drama, very fast paced, gripping story and ending happily.

I felt a little bit of introduction of all characters in the start of the book "Important Characters" would have really helped readers, similar to page "Names and Places" in the end of book.

It's a short story and author has tried to do justice to all characters but should have dedicated/worked a little more on Ahira, as its about her. The only time you really feel her presence is in the chapter Ahira's Serenity". War could have been little elaborated to highlight valour of Dheerji and Ahira.
Anirvana Ka and Baanshi are more of heroes as they play more important roles, former for knowing future and saving her in the end while latter's strategies saves the royal family and them all the time.

Would definitely want to read from author
In future

It's a light read book written in simple language and would recommend for all.

The story is about self-importance, love, hate, power, betrayal and the responsibility of a kingdom. The journey of the overhaul of a girl as a lady, of a daughter as the daughter-in-law, of a princess as a queen.

The plot of the book is embraced with the father's concern over his daughter's marriage to a mighty and deserving King, this results in the union of two rivalry kingdoms. The story then proceeds through the betrayals of the king's own people to capture the kingdom and the king and queen overcoming that and the acceptance of the marriage by both the kingdom's people.

The story is very short (38 pages; 8 chapters) yet descriptive of prominent life events. The dilemma of a person, responsible to serve others, is shown through the broad eyes. The story has various incidents that are old-school romantic and chivalrous. The language is simple and constructive to the story.  The glossary of the meanings of the names of the character at the end of the book is very impressive.

Ahira is the princess of Virshad who had to choose her husband from the kings of different kingdoms. She chooses Dheerji who is the prince of the rival kingdom Mehruha. It results into war and a lot of family drama.
The book starts on an interesting note and gives the perfect feel of a real mythological story. Everything about kings and queens and wars makes it very interesting. The story line is crisp and short which makes it a light and beautiful read. The characters have been described perfectly and help the reader in understanding the story better. The amount of betrayal and violence on the story is also perfect which make the story a wonderful read.
Do read this book if you are someone who is into reading stories about kingdoms and wars. It's a short story which you'll definitely enjoy.

I adore stories about strong women or the journey of women who grow strong, and this was it. The characterisation of the protagonist was somewhat strong and the storyline was nothing ordinary either but the execution was great. The editing could’ve used a little more attention and usually if the editing isn’t good, the book annoys me but this book was saved because of the story. One thing that I really like about the book was that the author did not stall, he didn’t take time setting the premises of the book for the first few chapters, because that is such a gamble, because that’s when the reader decides if the book is worth giving a shot or a total bore. The author dove head first in the story and I really liked that. Also, this book deserves a better cover if you ask me. This is a nicely written short story and I will definitely wait for a sequel!

A beautiful story of transformation of a princess to a queen.

A strong female character to lead and various other characters who you will love.

I really loved the characterization. The writing has been done to satisfy a reader within barely a 40 pages.

The book is a very short story and i wonder how the little plot was added beautifully.

Though the writing could have been better to justify the plot. The premise had so much potential.

I wish this story was longet and just a short story. Because i could see a great dhamakedar book when I see it. Hopefully there was more to connect with.

The problem with short stories are that you barely got any moment to form a bomd with the characters.

Hence my 3 star review for I felt that I missed something in between but the book was worth reading.

"Ahira" by Dhruv Anand is a beautiful story of Princess Ahira who becomes Queen Ahira. In this story there is love, respect, battle, and everything sweet n spicy.

Ahira is a lady who sticks to her decision with whatever comes to her with patience, which shows that she deserves to get that crown. This story has so much to convey.

Book Cover: Amazingly beautiful. Just loved it. Sometimes I buy the book just because of book cover but this book has done justice with the story too.

What I didn't like: Just one thing- I didn't find the story unique. It cannot be said that, "I have never heard such story". I expected some twists.

But though, the book is beautiful. No one will regret reading it.

A shory novella about a Princess and Queen

This is a short novella about the princess of Vishard- Ahira. She is a strong headed girl who wants to take her own decision. When it came for her marriage, she wanted to marry someone who was a knowledgeable as her father. But that man was from a rival Kingdom.
The book further describes how she becomes queen of Mahiruha.
From the title and blurb, I got the feeling that she would be a warrior. But, this side of her was only shown in a small part. I wanted more of that.
Writing is simple but requires some editing. This is a typical story about king, their kingdoms and betrayal by their own people.
If you're looking for a short read, then you can pick it.

A short novella about the beautiful and head strong princess Ahira👸 of Vishrad. Being a head strong and bold Princess, Ahira is determined to select her own husband who is as just and wise as her father. An obvious dream for every girl. As expected though she found her husband he belonged to their rival ing kingdom. This story revolves around the struggles underwent by Ahira who stood strong amongst all the treachery and rose to become a wise and head strong Queen 👸 of Mahiruha. P.s. As the title and the blurb suggested Ahira is a warrior princess though this part is very scarcely explored. Coming to the writing part the language is simple and easy though this novella needs some good editing. Overall it’s a wonderful and interesting short read.

“A Machiavellian is who just takes the step and it becomes right for everyone else.”

Ahira is a short and sweet read which kind of empowers girls to be true to themselves.

It packs a punch to the ' weak princess' genre. This book is an amalgam of respect, choices, adversity, dilemmas and pride . It is good for starters or for people who are in need of a break from all the heavy reading.

The book had a nice yet predictable plot, I wish it was a bit longer though. I wanted to know the characters a little more deeply. The best part about this book were it's dialogues and the author made sure not to add up unnecessary details. It requires a little editing here and there though!

Overall, it was a good one time read!

Ahira: The Battle of Princess and Queen by Dhruv Anand is a periodical fiction which we can get to know by the title but usually I don't prefer these genre but tried this novel for a change of genre, and I really enjoyed well.

About the story, it states the story of Princess Ahira and how she becomes the queen of Mahiruha. The journey behind was awesomely plotted and narrated by author. The language was also lucid and usage of simple vocabularies made my read more comfortable.

Overall, Ahira: The Battle of Princess and Queen is a good light read. Also I'm waiting for the sequel to be made. Wishing author all the best for his journey.

An excellently written book, Ahira is certainly a good read. Despite f not being a fan of historical fiction, I had a very good time reading this. The author has done a very good job. The flow of the book is very smooth and the plot is something different. The cover of the book could've been a little more real. Author's imagination is very good and the language is okayish because there are a few Sanskrit words used in the narration. But, the same words have been explained at the end of the story. I found the narration to be perfect because it sticks to the plot and doesn't cover any unnecessary details or information. A short and an excellent story which is a combination difficult to find.
