Excellent architecture guide for the Azure cloud. However, don't try to find there long how-to instructions, just consider it as appendix or Azure architecture cookbook. If you're aware of common cloud approaches, you won't be disappointed.

Lots of advanced concepts. Its a cookbook of different architecture patterns. I think this was great and I was surprised by how many different practical solutions it went over.

The biggest gripe is a lot of it went over my head. But for everything that I understood, it really increased my understanding of cloud architecture.

To be honest, very boring book. The writing style is very dry, but informative. I would give it 3 stars but the fact that I came out with lots of knowledge gained on the subject is why "I like it" and give it a 4/5

Retelling of well-known patterns with slight alignment to Azure realm. Better read "Enterprise Integration Patterns".
