Capturing The Plug's Heart

Rate this book
Meet Justice, the beautiful bombshell with a slick mouth and the attitude to match it. Running a drug empire is hard enough, but try being a female while doing so. In a profession that’s mostly men, she has no problem stepping up and getting it done in her stiletto heels and a Glock on her hip. Anytime she walks in the room, people notice her, and there’s nothing but respect. When the plug dies, and she has to meet with his son, she finds out that there may be more to life than being the head of an empire.

An educated boss, Zahir has graduated with a bachelors from Morehouse College and is now taking over his father’s operation. After his father’s untimely death, he has no choice but to step in his footsteps and do what needs to be done. With his two friends at his side, they take over an illegal business and open legitimate ones all over Atlanta, Georgia. When he meets with his father’s clients, the last thing he expects is the beautiful, bad-mouthed Justice.

Two young bosses, with money on their mind, suddenly take an interest in each other. Both being headstrong, they can’t seem to get along for anything. Can they get past this? Or should they take heed to the saying, never mix business with pleasure?

This was a nice read... There was a nice build up of the story and it read at a nice steady pace... The only problem I had with it was there was a pretty good amount of over detailing and to me that slowed the book down... But it did quickly recover itself each time and kept my attention...
In the beginning I felt bad for Justice... Her mom was on drugs and she was struggling to take care of herself making sure she could eat... Lucky for her the man that owned the store would allow her to pay what she can... If it had not been for him, there is no telling when she would have been able to eat... One day while at the store she crosses paths with a boy she knew from school named Pryce... This was the beginning of a major change in her life and the building of a drug empire... But when Pryce is caught up, Justice is put in charge of this big empire... She took over like the boss woman she was and has been in charge of this empire ever since... Good thing she has her best friends Lola and Bianca... They were able to make her feel somewhat normal and helped her to enjoy life at some time...
Zahir is the son of the plug... But in a moments notice Zahir is forced to take over his father's Legacy... He decides that he needs to meet with everyone that his father dealt with... When Justice walked in he got the shock of his life... Because he did not expect a woman let alone a very beautiful woman to be running an empire let alone an empire that make most of his money... Lucky for Zahir his second in command and best friend Blaque was there to help remind him that one he has a girlfriend named Stacy (who we can see is moving funny) and two this is business and he should not cross that line...
The meeting between Zahir and Justice really picked up the storyline with the back and forth and the struggle to avoid eachother really pulled me in... While these two played this cat and mouse game things started popping up in their lives at home throwing a little more drama in their lives...
Now to see how this story will all unfold in part 2... Will Justice's mom be okay... Will Mario which is one of Justice workers reveal the way he really feels or am I reading to much into it... What will Stacy do now that she got caught up... How will Zahir and Justice work with eachother with all this attraction that they have for eachother...

GREAT BOOK

Justice is a boss! She doesn’t play games with nobody and I love it. When she slapped her plug I knew she was fearless. I can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can see if her and Zahir finally hit it off. The way Zahir Is described in this book screams fine a$$ hell and cocky. When he met Justice I knew she was gone be his type I could also tell that it would be friction because they both are strong people that don’t take bs from nobody. When Zahir walked in on his girlfriend cheating I thought he was gone kill everything moving, I wonder if the trick is really pregnant! I want Blaque and Lola to hit it off I think something nice could come from that. I’m interested to find out about Lola being a mom I wonder what her story is. Bianca is sweet I hope that I’m the next book she’s able to get her sister the help that she needs and both her and Justice will be able to move on from the deaths of their loved ones... MUST READ!!!!

Good Read

Enjoyed this book from beginning to end and what a ending. Definitely, didn't expect that ending at all. Liked the storyline and these characters. Would really like to see Justice and Zahir together. Sparks between them ignited from the beginning. I knew Stacey was scandalous from the way she was checking Blaque out. She's going to be a problem. Would love to explore Lola, Bianca and Blaque story more. After that ending I can't wait to see what happens next. Highly recommend this book. Good job Misha.

Just WOW

What a minuteeeeeeeee now, that was a ending that I wasn't expecting. I thought Justice and Zahir were going to be further along with whatever they're going to kindle I guess I have to wait until the next book. I just knew Stacey was cheating on Zahir now she screaming she pregnant because she got caught girlllllllll BYE. I could see Bianca and Blaque getting together they are so much alike I think they could work. I'm still super shocked that Lola have a child and she knows where she stay, that makes me more intrigued about her story, I can't wait to hear about.

Capturing the Plug's Heart

It was just alright to me. Stacey was beyond scandalous, especially knowing just how much she needed Zahir. She could've kept that last statement she made. Justice has a wall up but I'm not sure if she's strong enough to keep it up when it comes to Zahir. I would've liked to read more about Justice and Zahir but I'm assuming Bianca, Lola and Blaque have some more importance to have their own point of views. It's so much with Lola and I can't wait to find out if her past will do more damage than good. Hopefully part 2 is better.

Drama

Really Stacey, how dumb you are. Zahir and Justice are alike in a lot of ways. Their chemistry was there, but I want to see Bianca get her happy ending. She was my favorite. Lola, wow, she has some issues that are going to knock her off her feet. Blaque is another intriguing one, I hope his back story is explored more. In this one, the secondary characters held my attention more.

This was my first book from Misha and I was not disappointed. What a storyline. From Justice living with little means and a drug addicted mother to being the girlfriend of a street gangsta, the story was interesting and wild. After her boyfriend's death, the empire had to fully rely on Justice. Zahir was also a nice surprise. But that trifling girlfriend that was caught in his house....smh. Moving on to Book 2.

Kudos to Misha

I loved how you are able to get to know the main characters and none of them have slept together or whatever. The storyline is great and the story flows well. I am loving it already because I can't wait to see how the characters evolve based on what I already know about them.

Well I finished this book in one sitting…I must say I’m kind of on the fence about listening to book 2. I wanted to stop midway through but I was like well you’ve came this far might as well finish now…
Maybe about 65% through the story started to pick up but not really enough for me to care about what happens next.

I like this book but Justice and Zahir playing cat and mouse is funny. They just need to get it together. I can't wait for part 2 to see if my questions get answered
